I had the best manicure of my life at the OPI Nail Bar, located in Selfridges. I didn't have an…read moreappointment but they managed to squeeze me in before I had to leave on a flight, which was very nice of them. My nails really stood the test over the course of two weeks: briney salt water in Barcelona and Valencia, partying hardy in Ibiza, and lugging/packing/unpacking/re-packing a 32 kg suitcase (I like to shop, sue me!). The amazing part is that my nails did not chip or break. They were in pristine condition after all of this. It was pricey though, I wasn't expecting to pay $50 for a manicure but I was desperate and it was worth it. The Nail Bar has all of the new OPI colors available both to use for your manicure and for purchase. You even get to pick out which lotion you want to use...that hand massage was heaven! The technicians take their time and are in no hurry to rush you out (even though the space is tiny, especially if you already have shopping bags). My only complaint is that because the nail bar is located in the women's street wear section of Selfridges (where all of the Oasis, All Saints, Miss Sixty stuff is), that I was subject to La Roux/ Sugababes/ David Guetta blasting for 45 minutes.

I walked out very happy with my new claws. I treated my aunt to a manicure before we jetted of to Guernsey for our family reunion and it was a great little girls day for the both of us. We chatted and got our hands pampered. I got a ballet pink and she opted for a more dark dusty rose. Both of us loved our nails afterwards. The thing I liked about this place is probably due to the women in the area being hardcore acrylic wearers they are a little bit more adventurous with their designs.
