We came here for a birthday party and I was leading bunch of kids aged 5 to 7. The staff was very helpful they helped in every way so I could manage the kids. The clues were detailed and were well connected. The kids got excited and helped me to get to the end of the escape room. read more

We had a fantastic time at Urban Escape Games on a Friday night. We had 8 people with us (4 couples) and we signed for the CDC game. The game is hard as hell and you truly have to work like a team. Our game master was Juan and he was extremely helpful and polite. The space is clean and loads of fun. I highly recommend it. It is best when you playing with friends. We did not get out. read more

Awesome time! We actually escaped! I went with my family of 5 to the FBI Mafia Investigation, we were partners with 2 strangers. The games really inspired you to work as a team and by the end of it we had all worked together really well to accomplish our goal. It was definitely challenging! But the staff was willing to help when we desperately needed it. Highly recommend! read more

This place is fantastic! The room we did (Jewel Heist) was very well put together and fun! The staff are helpful, accommodating, and kind. We've been to other escape rooms around Atlanta, but this is the one we'll be coming back to again and again! read more

We did the pirates of the caribbean, it was a very fun experience, although we struggled

My team went this past Friday and EVERYONE had a great time. The rooms are definitely difficult but not impossible. We did 2 different rooms since we were such a large group and both teams had a blast. The rooms are well thought out, the team over at Urban Escape Games is incredibly nice, and overall it was a great experience. We hadn't even left yet and my team was asking to go again so they could switch rooms. I would highly recommend Urban escape games for anyone looking to do some team building or any group of friends that is looking for a good challenge. read more

Urban Escape Games - Thank you Urban Escape Games for an awesome time! - Escape Games Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

I've done 6 Escape Games. In Atlanta, I have gone to Mission Escape in Midtown, Ultimate Escape in Cumberland, Paranoia Quest in Atlanta. In terms of quality of the puzzles, I would say this one did a good job; the puzzles were moderately easy to comprehend (not too far-fetched) and relative to the story line. Mostly visual puzzles. Guide was very good. They have their assistance on-screen help down well. Design of the room and 'Coolness' of the hunt was lacking compared to the others. It felt quite bare compared to the other rooms I've been through. Overall, it isn't my favorite one in Atlanta - but it's worth it if you have the time and money. Compared to others, I did not feel like I wasted my money. :) Visited July 2015 read more

Awesome rooms. My family and I have visited two rooms ( jewel heist and CDC escape) in the past 2 days and heading to a third room (magic) today. The people working there have been great, from the host working the lobby to the game masters. So much fun!! Keep up the good work!!! ......and change out the rooms. We are quickly going through them :) read more

As a family, we've done 20+ escape games, and Urban Escape Games is one of our favorite places to go. This time, we started with Trapped in Time, which has a lot of interesting puzzles. Then our host, Dee, who was truly an excellent host, very welcoming, supportive, and helpful, recommended that we come back sometime for Lunar 7. So we did - later that evening! Lunar 7 has very high production value, and a LOT of different rooms and unique puzzle types that we haven't seen anywhere else. Highly recommend! read more

So much fun. Quite challenging for our family of four but we got there with an extra few minutes. Place is set up super cool and the game master was awesome. Recommend for families and friends. Will definitely be back. read more

Took 10 family members with players ranging from 14-60. We did the "Trapped in Time" room. It was challenging and fair. The room master gave just enough clues when asked to help but did not ruin the puzzle. A great variety of challenges that kept everyone involved. We are looking forward to doing their other rooms as well as the ones in Marietta. Great time!!! read more

What an amazing experience. Our team did two rooms and we had a great time, Michael and the team took great care of us. We'll definitely be back read more

Great experiences. I've been twice with adults (corporate team building & social), and my son went with a group of 13/14 yr old boys. Games are well designed & the game masters are engaged & encouraging. The location is in a nondescript office suite, so allow a few minutes to find it and make sure you are on Mansell Ct *E*. Look for small 'yard sign' style signs near the facility. read more

We've been here twice (Pirates Cabin and Jewel Heist) and both times have been a great experience. Both rooms are decorated very nicely, made with great level of detail and challenging in a very good way. Our game hosts Waldo and Dee both did a great job giving us clues when we needed them without making it too easy. I highly recommend this place if you like escape rooms. read more

Last night my husband and I tried the FBI investigation escape room. This was our first time doing one of these and it by far did not disappoint. The puzzles and mind games kept us busy until the very end! Literally we escaped with 17 seconds left on the clock. The theme was awesome! Extra special shoutout to who ever decided to get FBI jackets for the players! We went with two friends that have done an escape the room before and they said that this place was awesome because the game master (person who took us in room and got us started) helped us along the way. Not giving things away, but leading us in a possible direction! Overall 5 stars and we will be back! read more

We did the Jewel Heist room and had so much fun!! It definitely tested how we viewed and thought about clues - gotta think outside the box sometimes! I've experienced escape rooms before and, like you, I just absolutely love them! If you want to spend an hour or so challenging your intellect in Alpharetta, I HIGHLY reccomend Urban Escape. The challenge is well planned and the staff is truly a member of your team. It's like one of those movies you wish kept going and you talk about with your fellow movie goers for the rest of the day. If you're experienced, you'll truly appreciate the challenge, if you're not experienced, you'll truly appreciate the helpful staff. GO DO THIS. You won't be disappointed in any way! read more

DISCLAIMER: I am married to one of the other reviewers, C D., and was also provided with the promo code. I too was asked to provide my honest opinion and feedback, and these opinions are my own. We were greeted with a friendly smile and asked to sign waivers when we walked in the door. We were also promptly informed that we would be teamed up with four other individuals to make up our team as a part of the escape. This was our 2nd escape experience, but our first experience at Urban Escape Games. We were provided instructions and shown a short video explaining the general rules of the game and got to know our new teammates before we started playing. Our "guide", Sylvan, then came and took us to our room, "CDC Lockdown". Sylvan was also great and gave us folders to start the hour off. He also indicated we had the option of asking for 3 help clues throughout the course of our game.. The clues and puzzles were of moderate difficulty, and with a team of 6, we felt like the team was the right size and not too big or too small. Sylvan explained to us that they allow teams of a maximum of 8 people. (Our first escape experience was as a part of a team of 10.) Without giving too much away, the puzzles were based on association, mapping, math, and critical thinking and problem-solving. It also relied heavily on the team members to openly communicate and demonstrate leadership as well as teamwork. As C D. mentioned, we escaped with 9 minutes to spare. We used all 3 of our help clues during the course of the game, which is part of the strategy of escaping the room (why not use the help clues if you have the option and opportunity to use them, right?). Afterwards, we got to take pictures as a team and as a couple and the pictures were emailed to us, and included in the experience. I would certainly return to UEG and play another game at full price. The game was creative, fun, and a brilliant way to spend an hour on a Saturday night. Highly recommend! read more

This was our first time there and the staff were Fantastic!! Friendly- funny- and got you into the perfect mood to solve your case!! Without giving anything away mine was a party of six adults and we had a blast doing the CDC game- and had we had one more minute we would have escaped !! The nice part is when all is said and done your " Escape Master" not only shows you anything you missed but recognizes each of the players for what they did throughout the game! They took notes!! It's a lot of fun you've gotta try this! Definitely going back to play the other games!! Thank you to the great staff at Urban Escapes for making this part of a Birthday celebration so much fun!! read more

Urban Escape Games - We "Almost Escaped" Urban Escapes CDC Game- Roswell Georgia - Escape Games Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

My wife and I recently started playing escape game apps and then a colleague told me about real-life escape rooms. I had a hard time imagining how the virtual game could possibly translate into real-life and was sincerely ready to be disappointed - how could this be fun for an entire hour?? Well, it was so much more fun than any of us could possibly have imagined!! We got lucky that our group ended up being the two couple friends who know each other well. We were told it would be tough to get out with only four people, but we made it! It's hard to describe the experience, but I can say the staff's enthusiasm and pride in the venue/concept contributes to the overall excitement. We will be back and we will not just recommend, but encourage all our friends to do so as well. Keep up the good work!! read more

Wow!!! This was one of THE most awesome experiences. There were only four of us solving the mystery. However, we did really well and came within seven minutes of solving the puzzle. I think we broke a record. The solve rate is only 34% and the games are designed with eight people in mind. So, we were at a disadvantage. Excitement, wonder, creativity, teamwork, laughs, joy, are all words I would use to describe this experience. We were all pumped leaving, excited to schedule our next adventure. If you're thinking of going, and you're a lover of puzzles, you must try this experience. read more

We were a group of 7 and we went to Urban Escape today. We did two rooms - Murder Mystery and Jewel Heist back to back. Was the best two hours we spent as a group. It is THE perfect place to go with your friends. The amount of teamwork involved in the game is amazing. The staff who were also our game masters were super friendly. Couldn't really think of any negative points. We are definitely coming back to finish the other two rooms. read more

Six of us are part of a weekly game night group, with really diverse levels of gaming experience, problem/puzzle solving, and intoxication. Leaving out the last element, we really enjoyed our time at Urban Escapes. The puzzles were a lot of fun! A lot of work, a lot of math (Pascal's Triangle played a prominent role) but also lots of room for creative types to think outside the mathematical box. The time really flew by! We used our clues, and missed completing our escape by about five minutes. All of us had a terrific time, and I think it really made us a stronger team. We all intend to do it again, and next time I think we will have enough people to completely fill up the team. Highly recommend this for any group of friends or co-workers. Honestly, I can't imagine completing this with strangers. We were lucky to know which of us could do math and which of us could find unusual clues in unlikely places. And there was plenty of both. read more

This was my first escape room event. 6 of us went for my friend's birthday. I didn't know what to expect at all to be honest. But as I see others have said, we were greeted with a friendly smile and just great friendly people in general. Then the even itself was a real treat. It was interesting, a real challenge, and our whole group got to interact, work together and have fun all at the same time. I highly recommend this to anyone thinking of doing it. read more

This was my first escape room game. I really liked how organized it was. The staff was very friendly and gave good feedback on how people did at the end, pointing out specific moments of good teamwork. There were some really cool surprises I can't tell you about :) The photo at the end is a great idea. They are good at thinking things through. My friends and I did the CDC lockdown. I'd love to come back to try another room and/or bring my co-workers to try it. It was such a great team building exercise. read more

Our company had our first get-together at Urban Escape. We had a ball! Such a good way to get acquainted with each other better in ways that we don't get the opportunity to do at our jobs. We were in the Jewel Heist Room and, wowee, the clues were so cool; we each found our own ways to contribute and altogether bonded in a fabulous way! I was not sure what to do at first but quickly got involved. Very clever and a great experience. The entire staff was extremely accommodating, from my initial contact and throughout the planning process. We were able to have a separate space for our meeting (with a PowerPoint presentation) that worked out beautifully. The atmosphere provided such a good place to get to know each other. I have already recommended Urban Escape to others and will continue to do so! read more

Had a fun family outing last night at UEG. We booked in advance to pick a good time and chose the "Jewell Heist" game. UEG explained rules and we had 3 clues we could use, which we needed! Game lasted 1 hour, and was quite challenging to get the gate access code to "break out". We brainstormed together and it made for a very fun, challenging event. read more

I did this escape room several months ago as a giant team building experience with coworkers. It was the first time I had ever done an escape room so I really didn't know what to expect but it was phenomenal. It seemed that we had a dedicated staff member watching our room. While that was a little unsettling initially, it resulted in an excellent experience. The staff member watched us as we progressed through the room and knew exactly what hints we needed when we called in for them. I highly recommend this escape room and will definitely be returning to share the experience with friends and family. read more

This was a ton of fun! We did this with our college small group at church. The games were very well thought out, and they were hard! We had to use all three of our hints. Some of the puzzles were almost too hard, the connections were a little tenuous. Still - it was exciting and challenging and I'd recommend Urban Escape to everyone! read more

We ESCAPED CDC with 9 minutes to spare! Disclaimer: I was provided a promo code and asked to provide my honest review. My review and opinions expressed are my own. We had a great time at Urban Escape! If you've ever played a mystery solving virtual reality type video game, this is 100 times better. Instead of clicking around a screen with your mouse, you can actually touch and examine objects to solve a series of puzzles and Escape/Win. There were a total of 6 people in our group. The max is 8 people for a session. The escape lasts 1 hour. We watched an entertaining intro video about how the game is setup. Our "game master" led us into the room and gave a brief intro and then left the room and a video started playing. There is a place to deposit your purse/coat in the room (your stuff is with you the whole time). Overall the room was new, items were new/great shape, all the puzzles worked correctly. Monitors are new. We had the right number of people in the room. We Escaped with a little over 9 minutes to spare! The owners said that we were 30 seconds shy of the record for the fastest solve. After the session, they give you a souvenir magnet that either says, "I ESCAPED!" or "I almost ESCAPED" Our team got the "I Escaped!" magnet for solving the room. If you don't finish, you get the "I almost Escaped" magnet. Game master took a few pictures of us and we were able to view and send (email or text) to ourselves immediately. Magnets and pictures were included as part of the package. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend URBAN ESCAPE! TIPS (not spoilers) if you want to Escape: There are 3 hints you can ask for when you get stuck. We used all three hints. When you first enter the room, you will find clues for more than one puzzle, but the puzzles must be solved sequentially. We could not figure out which clues went to the first puzzle, so we used our first hint within the first 10 minutes of the game. Don't be afraid to use your hints! Once you solve the first puzzle, by process of elimination, it will get easier to identify the next puzzle to be solved. read more

One of the best "things to do" in The Alpharetta area. Want to have fun with 7 of your closest friends? Want to meet up to 7 new friends? Want to work together to build a team or to strengthen relationships? Urban Escapes is the place. $28 bucks. 1 hour. Go. You'll have fun. read more

I'm giving 5 stars because they won't let me give 6. We had a group of 15 student ministry adult leaders. They split us into 2 rooms (I think the max is 8 per room), so we made it guys vs girls. (7 girls and 8 guys). The girls chose the CDC room and the guys chose the Magicians room. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. The groups must work together as a team and put their problem-solving skills on max to figure out how to escape the room.
