I was able to book on her website & had no issues. I called her before my appointment just to let her know my ETA & she was super friendly and helpful. The space is super cute & intimate with pink decor. I felt like I just needed to take a photo op right then and there lol. Shi was very warm & welcoming from the jump. We talked about what kind of lashes I wanted and how I wanted my eyebrows. Throughout the whole experience, Shi went over every detail of what she was doing for both my eyebrows & lashes. We also had a few funny conversations along the way. At the end of my services, Shi was proud of her work & so was I!!! I've had horrible experiences at other salons and this time was completely different in the best way possible. I even got a few thank you goodies which was unexpected, but I was extremely excited to try out . If I could give more stars, I would. I was visiting Vegas and wanted to get my brows done for the first time. Shi was extremely accommodating for my availability and checked in in the morning to make sure that I was still coming when I totally overslept. she discussed with me what she recommended and continued to check if I was happy with the decisions she was making throughout the process. Shi is extremely detailed and genuinely cares about how her work turns out. She also just seems like a beautiful person both inside and out as well. I ended up getting ombre nano brows which she explained last longer and are healthier for the brows than micro blading. I also got my lashes lifted which turned out pretty good, but my lashes are pretty short to begin with. I also tried to start the teeth whitening for a one hour session and after 15 minutes my teeth started to hurt me quite a bit. Definitely wasn't her fault and I'm not sure why my teeth were feeling so sensitive, but she really only charged me for a fraction of the price when I couldn't continue. I greatly appreciated the friendly conversation, good vibes and music, and overall consideration. I would recommend Shi to literally anyone that is thinking about getting their lashes or brows done in the area. she literally has me considering flying to Vegas every time I need some thing done haha! UR Beauty is located on the second floor of the building parallel to the street; there's an elevator near the middle of the first floor of the building. The vibe feels a little sketch (or a lot, depending on your expectations and what sketchy looks like to you). The suite is unassuming and it's a straightforward, no frills experience (unless you're getting lashes done and those could be frilly, I suppose). Jewol administered a facial and waxed and tinted my brows. I'm a plus-size person (fat and fine with it) and wasn't sure I trusted the table I was asked to lie down on but it worked out fine. She had me remove my shirt and bra without her leaving the small room and that was unexpected. I have no idea what goops were put on my face--not a clue what was in them or what they were supposed to do. Luckily, I don't have any allergies. The massage parts of the facial were relaxing. The brow wax and tint was matter of fact. There was very little conversation during the treatment and even less in the way of any description of the service or aftercare. The signature facial didn't seem very signature, whatever that's supposed to mean, but my face felt hydrated by the end and that's a nice feeling in the desert. Side note, my bestie got lash extensions done by Shi and the lashes look great, so if I were looking for lashes, I'd give Shi a try. read more

Shi took me in last minute ( extremely early I may add) so that I could go out of town on business. She is working out of her home and it was comfortable. I asked for a mixed set and let it be known I like them long and full. I wasn't overly impressed but she said she would get them longer and fuller at my next appointment. My outer corners were completely missed but I chalked it up to it being extremely early. I arrived for my 2nd appointment and no one was home. I had wondered if she would forget since she didn't note it anywhere. I didn't get a text or anything which I thought was odd since she seemed to be communicating a ton before my 1st appointment. Shi was able to reach out directly to Jewol and get me set up with an appointment in less than five minutes. After calling around 10 places hoping to get a last-minute appointment these two got me in right away. I let them know I was about 20 minutes away from the salon and Jewol was waiting for me when I arrived. I initially thought I was going to be getting a fill, however, after cleaning my lashes Jewol realized that I would need a full set and not just a fill. They gave me a great price and after an in depth consultation, Jewol started my lashes. The process was great. I let Jewol know that my eyes are sensitive and she took care of everything to perfection. I didn't experience any irritation or redness. After the service I was able to pay the owner directly and even left a tip. The inside was very clean and smelled great. There were no distracting noises and Jewol made the process very relaxing. Shi accommodated to my schedule and welcomed me to her apartment (where my lashes were done) due to her transitioning to a different location.
