I love this place! It truly lives up to its name. My daughter was home from college (Baylor) and we decided to check it out. The clothes were name brands, styles of all sorts, and in great, like new condition. She spent $300 and left with 7 bags of quality clothes, a new purse, two pairs of new boots, and a belt. I found some nice clothes for work, and some American Eagle and Adidas shirts for my son. We will definitely be shopping there from now on. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Workers are rude and everything is overpriced. Save your money.

Love the sweet staff, the music is great (family friendly), tons of variety of clothing, shoes, and accessories

This place is gross. Don't have anything against used clothing but most of the merchandise here looks like it's been roughly used.

I'm giving this place a one-star only because of the location. The service was bad and no one acknowledged us out of three workers who saw is clearly no one acknowledged. Truly the worst experience i've ever had selling clothes. I had to wait 2 hours for my clothes to be taken. Then they pass on every item we bring up here, and they were "having a hard time finding me to give me back my clothes" Truly I've never had a worse experience. I wouldn't bring your clothes here to sell. They probably won't take it, and they'll give you a hard time about giving them back. read more

I cleaned out my closet and brought the more expensive/designer brands to Uptown Cheapskate in Tyler. They said it would be a couple hours but ran a bit over, which is fine. They offered to donate the items they didn't want to charity which I was happy to do. When I came in to "review my offer" I saw they had taken a few of the dresses and 2 Kate Spade purses but I didn't see my pair of Golden Goose Midstar Italian Tennis Shoes in the box. When I asked about them, they said I signed up to donate so I couldn't get them back. After explaining that they we Designer Tennis shoes and I didn't want them just given away, they finally said I could have them back. They said since it had been 4 hours since I dropped off (not my fault, I had to wait for their text and they told me it would only be 2 hours), they had no clue where they were so I could look for them myself. They proceeded to give me 2 huge trash bags full of people's stuff for me to dig through to find them. Not in the bags. They then asked me to come back after they had staff come in from lunch to help find them. I waited in the parking lot until they called stating they had found them. I get that mistakes happen and that I signed up to donate the items they didn't want. But being that I've seen Golden Goose sold in their store before (main reasoning I brought my items there to begin with) I know they know what they are and you don't just donate a luxury Italian brand to Salvation Army. Especially without informing the customer. Just let me know they don't sell well in your store or something and I'll find a buyer myself. The fact that they didn't even mention they wouldn't be taking them and had to wait for other staff members come back from lunch to find them, makes me scratch my head a little bit and wonder if someone was trying to get a free pair of lux tennis shoes. All this to say, just be careful taking luxury items here to sell. The whole situation just does not sit well with me which I hate because I loved this store! But I probably won't be back. read more

Ripped me off completely. They took 15 items from me and gave me $32. Two of the items were jeans, one of the pairs I originally bought for $70. If you want to sell your clothes DO NOT GO HERE. Sell them online. HOWEVER, if you're going to uptown cheapskate to buy clothes rather than sell, they have lots of cute & stylish options. read more

This was about the third time I've gone in here and the employees were super rude. It's like they're annoyed They have to look through the clothes I brought in to sell? I had three small bags of good items a lot of which they actually ended up buying and when I walked in, they were visibly annoyed and rude and even whispered something to each other. I went in two hours before closing too giving them plenty of time. Probably won't go back I don't understand why they're customer service is so bad ‍ read more
