I was a client of Margie H. Strider for many years . A couple years ago I went to office to give…read moreher my tax information, she said she did not have time for me and my taxes. I ask her why and she couldn't give me a good answer. She also said that she was not taking new clients. I had a good friend of mine call her on the same day she refused to do my taxes, Margie told her to come right up there she could help her. She then gave my friend a date and time to come in and get her taxes prepared. By then my friend had called and talked with me and told me she was getting her taxes done by Marige Strider. I told her that Margie had refused to do my taxes the same day she accepted her as a new client! Then my friend called Margie and told her why did she agree to do her taxes and not mine? I ask, why did Margie refuse/lie to me when I asked her to prepare my taxes as she had done many years before? She could not give an good answer to my friend. After finding this out, I called Margie back questioning as my friend had done, why she had refused to do my taxes and in the same day accept new clients. I said to Margie why did you lie to me? She could not give me a definitive answer. I think she like to discriminates. As I had to find a new tax preparer and in their review of my past tax returns that Margie had completed the new firm said that it looked like I had paid taxes where I should have had done so! I Do Not Recommend Margie Strider for the Preparation of Anybody's Taxes!!

This attorney is terrible. They never contacted me regarding my case. They sent the paperwork to an…read moreincorrect address that was on my license. They never emailed me my disposition and failed to warn me about my license being suspended and I had to go file a motion myself to get the judge to grant an extension, which could not be done in time, causing me to lose my driving privilege. Upon entering their office and speaking with the secretary, the attorney came out rude and disrespectful making excuses for why they didn't do their job. Then he tried to order me to sit in a chair and when I told him no thank you he ordered me to leave the premises and not come back. I will now stand outside their office with a picket sign telling everyone in the city that they should not use them because they are rude and that it's a complete and utter waste of money. The charge they got reduced I could have walked into the courthouse myself and received the exact same disposition without even having to enter the courtroom. Useless Attorney, though the office lady was polite, so I will concede that fact. ***** Updated: Mr Rowland contacted me personally and profusely apologized for the miscommunication and the way I was treated at his other office. He took care of everything and made it right. I would definitely recommend him as an attorney as he called me right away upon hearing about the problem. Thank you Mr. Rowland, and may God bless you and your family.

He simply had too many cases to handle while handling mine. Mr. Rowland and I spoke right before I appeared in front of the judge. He made a few errors while representing me in front of the judge. The ADA was fumbling about and Mr. Rowland helped her with her case (which was my case that he was supposed to be representing ME, NOT helping the ADA convict me. It was a super uncomfortable experience all the way around. I ended up getting DOUBLE the jail time than we had expected and I believe these errors contributed Heavily towards that. Well, he did warn me this might happen. That's why I have him right? After sentencing today, I feel I wasted all that money and could've potentially Had a better sentence if I represented myself. I am angry. I am angry that I hired a lawyer who thought it was a good idea to help the prosecutor convict me. I hate writing bad reviews, I really do. However; this is unacceptable. This is an honest and fair review after using their law firm I certainly could never recommend them.
