Came for a party for my friend who was getting married. We had reserved tables ahead of time and ended up getting a party package. The package included a cake, a bottle of champagne, seats by the stage and a hot seat for the leading lady. To me that was a good deal to have for customers, because we had front row seats to the show! The downfall is the dancers itself, weren't in the greatest shape, and they needed to practice more with their dancing. Their facial expressions told it all. They looked like that weren't into it and were being forced to be there. The drinks were overpriced and I honestly felt like you needed to be drunk to enjoy the show because the dancers just didn't do it for me. Sweaty and stiff dancing, some of the men couldn't move that well and were off rhythm . Maybe I expected a show like what I had seen in Vegas which was more professional with the outfits, and the dancing, but I just wasn't feeling it. So, I had my bachelorette party here last weekend. About 15 of us were in my group. It was absolutely a blast. The guys are gorgeous and not sketchy, and my time on stage was hilarious and fun. Just go with it! There are guys to suit every preference, but all of them were attractive. If you're like me and you like your "beefcake" muscly and Italian, you *definitely* won't be disappointed. I was there for a bachelorette party, and as newbie to male revue scene so please excuse my lack of actual comparisons and experience. First off, its WAY more interactive than I ever would have imagined. I pictured a stage and lots of dancing on it. Not sure the correct terminology, but the "dancers" were hopping on and off the stage, and would literally come right up to you. As someone who was just there to observe, it was very awkward. Thankfully the drinks were relatively inexpensive. Unfortunately, the seating area was tiny. At one point a dancer came over to interact with a friend, and my entire new drink got knocked over in the process. At another point, a dancer came over to the group behind us and knocked her red wine onto my coat and side of my body. Again, I'm very happy that the drinks were inexpensive to help me recover from this situation and carry on with the evening. The bartender was also so kind as to replace my drink that was spilled at no charge. For the most part, these gentlemen were hot. Or at least, their bods were. I think I have to tack an extra star on this review for eye candy. As someone who wasn't there to interact, it would've been nice to just watch from a far though. Aside from grabbing your hands and placing them on their bodies, I found them to be as respectful (as possible) to those who weren't exactly there for a lap dance. The servers and hosts seemed the most professional. Curious who else was in attendance on a Saturday night? Lots of other bachelorette parties. Just be warned, it's smoky in there. Between getting spilled on and the smoke, I wouldn't recommend wearing anything nice or that requires extensive dry cleaning. Upstairs at Risque was our first stop. No sooner had the door of the bus opened, that a beefcake jumped aboard and got acquainted with our bachelorette. High pitched squealing ensued. After being escorted inside and to our table, we were waited on and entertained throughout the night. My memory remains extremely hazy about all the goings-on, but one thing remains firmly intact in my temporal lobe: DayGlo orange banana hammock. While I don't think any of the girls plan to start frequenting Upstairs at Risque on regular weekends, I'm sure we'll all keep it in mind while planning future bachelorette parties. My friend & I came here to celebrate my birthday. I came here for comedic reasons (since men in thongs don't do it for me). I wasn't expecting much, especially since I had never been to a male revue before. DRINKS Drinks are a bit expensive. The friend & I got separate drinks, and they were the same price - 7.50 - and shots are 7 to 7.50 as well. I had a pretty good buzz going on after like 2 shots and 2-3 drinks (in the span of an hour-ish), so they weren't weak. Also, if you are paying with a card, you need to put at least 20 on the card. SEATING I cannot stress how much you should get a reservation. If you do not have a reservation, they will have you stand at the bar (where you can't see anything since there's a wall blocking 90% of your vision). Thankfully, my friend & I were able to get seats since a prior reservation had failed to show. There are booths, tables, and actual booths on stage right next to where the guys dance (but you probably have to pay extra to get them when you do a reservation). ENTERTAINMENT Most of the men have insane bodies that look like they spent years in a gym creating. And most of them are decent looking / attractive. Most of the men are white. I only saw one black dancer, and maybe 1-3 latinos. All the men look like they tan as well. The men will come around to tables and massage you or give you lap dances. There is no charge, but obviously you should tip, and the more you tip, the more they pay you attention (which is obvious). I actually had an amazing massage from of the dancers, and I'd go back just for that. Also, when the club is winding down, and there's only 1 or 2 men on stage, the others will just come up and dance with you. ETC Cover is 20 dollars. If you are planning on getting any kind of lap dance, or plan on interacting with the men at all, I would HIGHLY suggest wearing leggings/pants/shorts. With the way the men dance on the women, their skirts / dresses / etc. came up several times. And with the hot seats on stage, they will pick you up, have you on their shoulders, dry hump you, and pull up dresses/skirts/etc. So if you plan on getting a lap dance, be extra careful about what you wear - or tell the men in advance that you do not want your junk hanging out. The strippers were the only men - it is a woman's only club. Also, if you are there just to watch, and don't want men touching/dancing on you, and don't want to be rude, just tell the guy that's doing it that you have a boyfriend or are married, etc. I didn't really want to be bothered, and I told them I had a BF, and they backed off. ___________ My friend and I had a blast, and we plan on coming again. The one & only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is simply because of the prices of drinks and admission. Other than that, it's great. read more

I just went there last night to celebrate my girlfriend's engagement. It was our first time there and we had a blast. The guys, servers and bartenders are super sweet. If I wanted awesome choreography and a dance show, I would've gone to a ballet. The guys did their routines and mingled with the crowd. I never felt pressured to tip or ignored. Facility was clean and neat. We definitely didn't go into it with a "Magic Mike" expectation so we weren't disappointed. My biggest gripe was with the MC. He did nothing to hype the crowd up, wasn't very presentable and hovered over the guys from the stage. Plus, smoking inside is a big negative. So a friend of mine was getting married, and her bachelorette party was booked here last Saturday night. I must admit, I initially was not looking forward to this. When we werent on stage, and at our seats, the variety of men would come around, each doing their own thing. Again, being humped by them really wasnt going to do it for me, so while I declined their offerings, the more wild ones in our group did not, and were having an awesome time. However, I gave in when I saw this tall man with these unbelievable sexy tattoos and ripped body come out on the floor. When he walked by, I asked him what the chinese symbols on his side meant (figured that'd be a good ice breaker). Not that I really cared, I just wanted to get his attention, haha!! He had so much personality to him, and could hold a conversation as if he knew you his entire life, rather than being robotic and money hungry like some of the others (not all, but some. I'm writing to let someone know about an absolutely TERRIBLE experience I had at your club on the night of 4-27-13. We had a group of six girls out for a bachelorette party. We didn't have a reservation (they asked us at the door), but we paid our cover and went in. We found unoccupied seats in the middle of the room and we had a great time for about a half hour. Suddenly, an older man came up to the bride, pointed his finger at her very rudely, and said something none of us heard. The room was extremely loud and we were all well intoxicated at that point, so we couldn't hear him well the first time. Then after a minute, he got up in my bride's face (this is a manager, by the way), and told her to "move her ass now". We weren't aware that we were doing anything wrong until he picked up a place card that was turned around and pointed to a name. Apparently, that means this place was reserved (which, in our defense, wasn't clearly labeled, and the card was turned around from the beginning). We all got up and did what he asked since he was being so openly aggressive about it. The bride was so upset that we all just decided to leave. As we left, the girl at the front asked us if everything was alright (since we weren't in there very long), and we told her what just transpired. She went upstairs to see if she could resolve the issue with the man (and possibly refund our cover charges). What happened next was infuriating. The man (who I found out is a manager named Lenny) came down the stairs and proceeded to loudly berate the bride. We tried to explain that we didn't hear him, but he countered with an "I don't fucking care". He got so loud and nasty with her that we all just left in an angry rush. I can honestly say that this event RUINED the bride's party. I will never, EVER set foot this establishments again. If this is how management treats a simple mistake, then this company seriously needs to reexamine its business practices. I'm appalled with our experience and you can guarantee that I'll never spend my money in this club again. UPDATE: I forwarded this account to one of their representatives, and I got a fast response. I was offered an apology and a free VIP pass for the girls so we could have a "re-do" for the bachelorette party. The bride initially agreed, but after a few weeks, she found that it was too close to the wedding for her schedule to allow it. None of us really want to venture in there and risk seeing that awful man again, so I declined their offer. I will say that they truly seemed apologetic for what happened, but unfortunately, what's done is done. I'll set my review up a notch, but that's it. read more

We went there for my friend's bachelorette party this past weekend and from the moment we walked up to the door until the moment we left these guys made us feel super sexy and special. One guy in particular (Mike, the guy with the air force tattoo) was super sweet. He is a greeter at the door and message boy, but should definitely be a dancer. He made sure my group was always taken care of and made each and everyone of us feel appreciated including myself. He is just as sexy as all the others. There is a guy in this club for everyone. We also wanted to give a special shout out to our sexy men Will, Brandon, and Chris. There were too many to name. Ok, so let me start off by saying that I do love this place! The reason why I only gave it 4 stars was only because of 2 things. We came here for my birthday and I was super excited. As the four of us entered the building, we were greeted by a man who was "ok". Didn't seem too friendly but wasn't overly excited to be there. We told him that we had a reservation and he called I guess the cashier lady to the front. She is one of the reasons why I gave the place 4 out of 5. She was not friendly at all. We stood there waiting for someone to take us up and instead of her letting us know that she just stood there like she could care less. Bad first impression. Finally a guy came down and we interlocked arms and he walked our party up. This place was very nice! very clean and well decorated. And the men walking around were amazing! Then, the other reason why I gave it a 4 was because they had these 2 scrawny dudes who looked like they came off the street working the crowd and that was a big turn off.
