My husband and I recently visited this thrift store, and unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience. We felt as though we were being watched throughout our visit, which made us very uncomfortable. We also found the prices to be quite high, and the interaction with the woman at the front was not particularly welcoming or courteous. Based on our experience, we will not be read more

I am a thrift store junky. This place is really interesting as I find deals a lot when I go. You have to know what you are looking at. The dollar rack always has great stuff. Last trip I got a Victoria's Secret dress and some great rain boots each $1. This trip got a Prana workout top for $1. I knew the logo as tags were missing. Great stuff nice people. read more

Always frielndly staff. Always great finds. Always pleasantly surprsised to see how much my "account balance" grows from the items I consign. They are conscientious about moving consigned items around for visibility. I feel that my items are fairly priced. It is WAY easier than trying to deal with selling things on Facebook Marketplace!! Never know what you may find....just some of the things that I love about this little gem of a store in Pagosa! read more

Always have a fun experience here. Staff is always kind. They have children's items, books, scrubs, cute kitchen items, accessories, and you may find a cute top just for fun for yourself or your teen. read more

I love to stop here and usually staff is so friendly but today "Sue" was anything but nice. Her lack of customer service and her attitude turned me off and maybe for good. We stop when we come to a Pagosa form our state but today may have been the last. I actually wanted more but her vibe killed it for me. She was even afraid to look at us, maybe we didn't fit her profile of who should shop here. Shame shame!! read more

Upscale Resale - Checking out - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Pagosa Springs, Colorado

See all

This place is a rip off and full of crapl! My mom had furniture she wanted to sell. She was told they have have a waiting list. She got on it. She was in shopping and check to see where she was. Top of the list. She's next and they'll call her. She goes in Monday and there is a bunch of furniture in the store that wasn't there Thursday. She's told that the owner took it in and there was nothing they could do. Then I was told on Facebook that the store "absorbs" all of the sales and discounts they give. Lie! My mom got a check. Which makes her consignment account to zero. On the way out she found something she wanted. So we got back in line. A lady in line had one of the things my mom brought in to sell. Out of curiosity My mom asked her how much they marked it for. $10. My mom said perfect she was buying a little $3 thing so she knew she would have $5 on her account. Well there is a sale where you spin this thing to get a percentage off. The lady gets 20%. My mom goes up. The account only shows $4. The clerk looked embarrassed but she said it was because of the sale. It's not about the dollar. Its not OK to lie and take advantage of an elderly woman. It's not OK to take advantage of anyone. How many of the people who sell there have been told the same lie? How much money has this business stole from people. This business should be ashamed. I will tell everyone not to shop or sell their stuff there. read more

Nothing truly "upscale" at this consignment store. Very clean, new and nice building. The staff could have been friendlier, but perhaps I'm more accustomed to southern hospitality. Either way, I preferred the service at "Dusty Road" next door. read more

Upscale Resale is hands down one of the best places to shop in Pagosa Springs! The service is incredible, the quality of everything in the store is absolutely amazing, and there is quite a selection of household items, clothing (men's, women's, and children's), and furniture! Great value, great service, and high quality! Will absolutely be coming back! read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. BEWARE potential consignors! After visiting the store, I was impressed with the quality of merchandise for sale. Having some unique, high-end items I wanted to sell, I felt this would be a good outlet. First red flag: I called to inquire about consignment process. The woman I spoke with was very rude, but I chose to ignore her attitude. I took approximately 10-12 items over at the assigned strict day/time. My items were closely scrutinized for imperfections, which resulted in two being denied. I accepted that as the store does have high standards. But, again the staff (I later learned her name is Shanlee) was very rude, practically throwing the items to the floor. Again, I chose to ignore her behavior. When approaching the 45-day limit before non-selling items are donated to charity, I called to see what sold, etc. Shanlee (not sure of the spelling) snapped at me and said she was too busy that day to talk to me. So I called later that week and told her I would come pick up any of my items that had not sold, and she stated only one item had not sold. On the morning I was going to drive the 50+ miles to Pagosa, I called again to tell them I was coming for that item. Low and behold, I got there, and the item was nowhere to be found. A wasted trip. Then, to add insult to injury, I was offered a measly $3 for this collector print. Suspicious circumstances on what happened to the print. Why didn't they admit it was gone when I contacted them? So, again BEWARE consignors! Upscale Resale staff are unprofessional and consistently rude, and obviously dishonest. The place is a rip-off. If you have items of true value, steer clear of Upscale Resale. read more

I always find myself wanting to come to this store. It's very clean and organized (as well as it can be) The two girls working were super nice and welcoming. Staff used to be a little abrasive but the girls they have now make all the difference. Love this place. read more

This store is a hidden gem! Whenever I'm in Pagosa from Durango, this is my first stop! The girls there are all so friendly and helpful. They have amazing high end merchandise and crazy cheap prices. I come away saving tons of $$$ on great clothing and housewares. My husband loves the men's section and I always find treasures for my kids. Then there's the beautiful NEW jewelry and accessories for me. I might even have to go back for that fur coat. A must-shop for sure! read more

I really wanted to like this place. I have been going there for several years now when we are in town. I have found a few bargains but the ladies that run the store are not helpful and are not friendly at all. I kept returning hoping that things would change but it has not. I found another resale shop close by that will be getting my business from now on. read more

Very nice resale store, clean , neatly organized, people pretty friendly. Prices to buy are low which is great, but on flip side if you are selling you might not get much money from sale. Have adults , kids and household goods. read more
