He always takes his time with me, I never feel rushed or unimportant. To those who complain about extensive wait times, we must realize that it is not entirely the doctors' fault. Patients ahead of us may have arrived late while others require more of his time than anticipated. He always welcomes me with a smile and if it has been years since I have needed him, he always walks in to the exam room fully up to date on my file and the reason for my visit; he is well prepared and I am thoroughly confident with his diagnosis and treatment plan. The receptionist (I believe she has been there for years) can be a little gruff if you are behaving entitled but a warm smile will be returned in kind. The nurses and technicians are wonderful, a reflection of a well-managed practice.

However, I kept getting this strange overseas call telling me I owed them money but never received an invoice. I finally went to the office where they told me I didn't. Later I got the same bill from the office because I did owe them $26.15. Turns out they used some off-shore payment house...not exactly where I want to give out my credit card information. I ended up paying online and found I was charged a "convenience fee" for paying my bill. The fee was well hidden until the very end. The Doctor performs a service, charges you, you pay, and they charge you for paying. Anyone feel like they got scammed? Next time they can look for a check in the mail and have the "convenience" of going and deposit it.

I have been…read moreto a few different places and settled on Upperline since their location is close to my home. Let me start with the positives. The team members are always pleasant and nice. There is a lady who works the front office and she is always pleasant and very friendly. I have had a few different team members assisting the doctor and they have been very nice as well. When I first came here I was assigned a doctor that has since moved to a different location but both him and my current doctor have been fine. I really do not have complaints. They doctors do listen to you, they have given me some additional things to help with my heels spurs besides just cortisone shots. I will say that their timing is always off. I have never been called on time for my appointment and they seem to always be running behind. One visit I was there for over an hour. To only have seen the doctor for about 5 minutes, it was a little insane. However, to give a little grace, there is only 1 doctor seeing all the patients. The doctors do not have the best bedside manner either, they are usually pretty quiet, asking how I am and then just doing whatever they are going to do, aka cortisone shot. But overall they are doctors dealing with people's feet all day, I have to give them some grace. Overall this is a fine place. I feel like its really tough to find a great foot doctor and this is close to my home. The office feels clean, looks clean and the staff is nice. I would recommend them.

So now you have people with feet issues having to stand to wait for the foot doctor ‍ Then, when I got back with Dr Andres Perez, he barely spoke to me, took notes on what I shared, and then within 3 minutes of meeting him he injected my foot with -something that he never clearly explained. His accent was heavier, but I was listening closely and clearly and nothing was said about what he'd be injecting. I did ask what it was and he just said an anti inflammatory. Appreciate that as I needed it, but the shock of him just sneaking that in like you would for a kid who's afraid of needles (I'm not) without saying anything first was awful. Bedside manner is a 0 out of 10. Their X-Ray machine was broken so I couldn't use it that day and had to go to a 3rd party for images, but they were still sure to charge me for that broken X-Ray that was never taken by them (already called for my refund). Communication with what next steps would be, was also awful. I gave it a second visit chance to see what was happening as he had ordered an MRI and I wanted those reviewed. He said "you'll need surgery" and then he didn't explain anything about the actual surgery or what next steps there would be, and instead just said come back again in two weeks. To which I did not. He also did the same thing with the needle (I stopped and asked first this time) on the second visit. Truly believe this doctor's office may be scamming people. Just does not feel like a safe place to have someone helping me with my feet issues.
