This is my first ever Yelp review. My sister and I went to Solace Healing a few days ago after…read moregetting a gift certificate for a massage and facial. While the actual massage and facial were pretty good, the service was terrible. The room was FREEZING! I was laying on the facial bed with only a thin sheet to cover me, and the room felt like it was not even heated. With negative temperatures, this was NOT okay! The woman was apologetic about it, but they should have been better prepared with space heaters if the heat was not working properly. In addition, the facial bed collapsed TWICE when my sister sat on it (good thing she's young and could catch herself, but she did end up with a bruised foot!). They basically blamed it on her and said that she was sitting on it wrong! (she is tiny, so it had nothing to do with her or how she was sitting on it). The facial is not for relaxation, like I had anticipated (it's a skin treatment with extractions, etc) - just to give you a heads up! My skin does feel great and the massage was wonderful, as well. It's just all tainted by the poor service and environment. We e-mailed the owner and she offered to compensate us with 2 facials at half-price, but did not apologize for our experience and actually tried to defend the lack of heat & collapsed bed.
