He was told the dog couldn't be there so he began to curse and insult everyone, and they had to call the police. For about 20 minutes they tried to lure the dog (who appeared to be friendly) to their car. There were 3 police cars at the scene (There's a "Citizen" app video that was taken by me). They tried lassoing some sort of rope around his neck to use as a leash, but they failed. I'll soon be moving so I have several pet crates for my animals when I do. As I kept watching, I realized that ACCT Philly weren't going to be there soon enough, while the situation kept getting more and more tense by the minute. So I went to my home across the street, got the biggest cage I owned and brought it to the police to grab the dog. I'll be as honest as I can be, most people didn't think I was an innocent bystander, they assumed I had something to do with the guy. They acted like the cage somehow showed up out of nowhere, not even a "thank you". Yes you read that right. They didn't ask me if I wanted my cage back. Must've thought I have load of things to hand out. But the worse part about it is that the McKinley school principal was there, the vice-principal also and they DID NOT acknowledge me or thank me either. For these people, it was business as usual. This is what our world is coming to. I solved a situation for dozens of people whose work was halted for. I did it because if that dog had bitten someone, the first thing police will do is SHOOT. There were children in that school. Someone could've gotten hurt. I'm sure that the homeless man got helped, the dog was rescued and here I am without a cage now I need to buy a replacement. I feel like I was totally invisible and completely disacknowledged. I called the police 26th precinct and they had no knowledge of the incident. Guy tells me "I'm certain your cage wasn't used to get this dog". I was appalled!! I put the cage there and the police took it and the dog was led into it. Eventually the guy said "ok, well... it must be at ACCT Philly". I had to call animal control to see if my dog-cage is there. They left me on hold forever and I need to call again tomorrow I feel I was robbed of a dog cage that costs $80! This is what the police has come to.

We have no one to turn to for help. These troopers have discriminated against my family and stereotyped us and they performed many police misconduct in our home. I have had it with being treated like we are the scum on the bottom of their shoes. Something needs to change. I can not just sit back and continue to be mistreated by the State Troopers in Skippack, PA. When they pull my mom over, Officer Gilbert is so mean and unfair to my 62 year old mother. The troopers will wait for my mom to drive by and pull her over for no reason and then make up reasons. Trooper Corvese and Trooper Hoy and other Troopers came to an incident at my home when I called 911 for help by the EMTs and they showed up and made matters worse that resulted in the neglect of helping my brother who died because of their neglect and police misconduct. We needed help but instead we were discriminated against majorly. I am done keeping my mouth shut because I am scared the troopers will retaliate. Who do we turn to for help in this world when its the police breaking the laws. I struggle with many mental illness and they are supposed to make sure an officer with mental illness trainings assists me and they never do that. They get funding for this type of stuff so there is obviously mishandling of government funds by the state troopers. Some one please help my family fight against these troopers. I have real proof of their police misconduct and discrimination against my family. I wont quit until we get justice against these troopers who are supposed to help us, not hurt us.

I live in an apartment and even…read morethough I witnessed a tenant trying to break into my neighbor's apartment, they took forever to come to the apartment and then wouldn't even talk to the tenant who tried to break in who has mental issues and a history of doing this!!! And the apartment he was trying to break into had a young girl by herself home alone. They were completely incompetent and gaslighting saying, "what do you want us to do? He didn't break in?" Maybe get off your lazy ass and go talk to him! Not only were they completely dismissive but so was their Sergeant. We pay WAY too much in taxes to have such a shifty police department! We also have a tenant that was drunk driving and they let him pull into our building and let him off. What!?!?! Who does that! He could kill someone!!!! And then when a tenant was passed out and urinating in our laundry room, they came and took her word for it: "she messed up her meds." This woman clearly has a history of substance use and needs help! Not to be enabled, which they're too lazy to do their job, they let anyone off. It's going to take a major catastrophe or law suit for these idiots to get it together. They are terrible!

That or they are just flat out lazy to do their job right. I had just gotten a ticket in the municipal lot located next to Hoopty's Pizza claiming I had an expired meter. Now first off there are no longer meters in this lot, along with a majority of lots in the Havertown area. What there is now is a kiosk located at every entry point where you pay there. The way this works is , in case you don't know, once you find an available spot there is a number associated to that spot. This is your spot you are paying for at the kiosk, after you pay they issue you a receipt with the allotted time you have. Final step is to place said receipt, (a proof of payment) on your dashboard in plain view. Step 1: check , my number is 46 Step 2: check, $.25 cents for a half hour. (checked in at 8:47 am, expires 9:17 am) Step 3: check , placed in plain view showing payment. Now I was pretty hot about this , I had to take pictures of this . Now the first is Evidence A, and second is Evidence B. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I give you - Evidence A: What we have here is a ticket issued to me showing a Parking Meter violation at 9:09 am. Evidence B: The lazy attendant that can't see, or read showing I was well in the time frame of legal parking. I presented this to Officer Hagan (Havertown's finest) to handle. He did , he also apologized for the lack of effort put forth by the meter attendant. I found some kind of pleasure in making him STOP what he was doing , get him out of his rhythm , just for someone else error. Solid 2, until they invade Wawa and hang out by the coffee stations.

Recently, in the last year or so my son has told me about a cop friend of his, Officer Dan P. (Will not say his last name fo obvious reasons). i asked him how he knows this officer and he told me that the officer has on several occasions given him a "cool kid patrol ride" after his school activities, typically him and friends play at the park until 630 or so (short distance from the house). Recently his behavior has been reclusive and tempered, when confronted stated "Officer Dan is not who I thought he was, and he no longer thinks of him as a hero as Dan would call himself. Should I escalate this?

The police department is doing a great job and even giving away free faraday bags to protect car keys to combat the national theft problem. I owe them food, drinks & more :). Crime is decreasing, and we are tackling the drug problem and addicts- most need some form of housing to get them off the street and like NYC we need clean up crews to clean the entire city and also need more garbage cans so people do not pollute. The mayor should address these issues and this will continue to keep Philadelphia in the rising real estate and city range.

However, locating the lot is a bit confusing considering it's located behind the houses next door and behind the fire department. The entrance is inviting, with a few chairs for sitting. It's also open enough that you can get some good photo ops in before entering the entertaining space. They have separate restrooms for men and women as opposed to unisex ones. The bathrooms are kept pretty well stocked you'd think there was a bathroom attendant. They had everything from pocket tissues to shout wipes! There's a kitchen for the caterer and bar space for drinks. A drawback to the hall is that there's only one room. The wedding I attended also had the reception there. This means you have to transform the the room to prepare the tables. And just where are your guests supposed to go while they wait to be served food? Oh outside? Down the street at Pizza Saloon? Cool....I guess We we can go eat before we eat...??! No biggie, right?! Nope! I got to explore. Although, for this particular event we had to leave, I'm sure this hall would suffice for a a regular gathering without 2-parts because it is a nice size. You can bring in your own caterer, bartender, photographer, etc and it appeared to be staff to assist but I'm not to sure. So if your in the market to party! Gwynedd Fire Department might be your spot!! Just don't burn the roof down.
