Dane was really responsive to my questions about tinting. It was nice that he was local and I was able to get my car dropped off and tinted with a quick turnaround. The car looks great after the tint and blocks out the heat that we had the past few weeks. Got some tips on covering up the remaining chrome in the car. It's coming along nicely. read more

Dane and his guy are tint wizards! I came to Upper Glass after searching on Yelp for a place to get my friends Civic tinted, they did such a great job I brought my Mustang too! Pricing is fair and he's got plenty of options! I went with the ceramic tint in 15% for the windows and 50% for the windshield. Couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! read more

I recently purchased a car for my daughter and one of the things she liked about it was the dark tint on the windows. After a few weeks she said that driving at night was tough because it was so dark. I didn't think much of it until I drove it at night and almost hit my neighbor while walking his dog. I literally could not see them out of the left window. So I find Dane on yelp and explain that I need to get these windows stripped so we can see. He got me in first thing the next day. He has a nice shop set up in his garage. Plenty of space, tidy, and neat. He explained what he was gonna do and what to expect as he needed to remove some window gaskets and start steaming. He was done and I was on my way in 20 mins! Fast and friendly. I'd recommend him if you are in the market for adding tint or removing it. It's nice to be able to see out these windows now. read more

Reached out through yelp for quote and got a reply within the hour. Was able to setup an appointment within the same week and got a brief overview of the business. Be mindful that this is a professional home business and not a shop or warehouse so if you have used those services before this is relatively the same but a little higher of a price but nothing painful. Arrived on time for my appointment at the provided location and had a brief talk with Dane about the services. Their work space was setup in a professional manner with the appropriate information provided for determining what option you want to go with. Dane did mention about a higher quality and higher price material when going over options but never once tried to force upsell or make you feel like you need this option he is showing you. Once the option was determined he was able to calculate a fairly reasonable price and time frame. The car was estimated to take about 2 - 2 1/2 hours total if I recall but ended up taking around 3 hours and 15 minutes which Dane addressed and apologized for which I appreciated. My only issue is there was a bit of over spray that wasn't wiped down post installation causing streaks to run down the exterior side panel which I had just washed prior to arriving. While this is a minor issue that can easily be fixed I thought I might address it to potentially help avoid it in the future for the not so nice customers All in all great customer service, great location, and great people. read more

Highly recommend Dane! He responded to my message immediately, was professional and worked with my availability. Dane was able to tint my car the next day! He was clear about the the tint services offered and also provides you with a lifetime warranty. This was my first time having to take a car of mine in to get tinted, didn't hurt that this was very local for me and Dane was able to make the process incredibly smooth. The tint came out perfect! I had huge bubbles in my old tint which was able to be removed for a good price in addition to tint replacement. I went with ceramic since it was a reasonably priced upgrade and to me seems worth it The car was in and out of Dane's shop in under 4.5 hours! Will be recommending to friends and fam. Thanks again Dane. read more

I just got a new car and it needed a new tint job. Dane made sure that I was happy with the pricing and the quality is amazing! He took his time to make sure it was perfect and that I would be happy when I picked it up. As well, I didn't know that all my windows had adhesive residue left over from the previous owner's tint that he must've removed. But Dane was more than willing to take the time to strip each window and make it perfect instead of turning away! Highly recommend because you won't leave unsatisfied. Upper Glass did an incredible job on my wife's Mercedes E350 wagon! We decided to go with 15% all around and 80% on the windshield and couldn't be more impressed with how perfect everything came out. The owner, Dane, takes great pride in his work and makes sure everything is done the right way. I've had many cars tinted by different businesses in So Cal and this was the best experience by far. It's obvious the owner loves what he does and is passionate about providing top tier service to his customers. Simply put, Upper Glass offers the best value in regards to price and quality. I researched several places to tint my SUV to include visits to a few shops. Dane of Upper Glass was immediately responsive and invited me to stop by for a consult. I was admittedly a bit hesitant as he operates from his home, yet after my visit was convinced of his quality, workmanship, and professionalism. One look around his workspace convinced me that this is his profession and not just a side gig. He took time to explain the process, the different tint options available, and timeline for the work without the continued upsell I experienced at the larger shops. He is also considerably cheaper than the larger shops. He completed my SUV ahead of schedule and it looks perfect. Dane and Upper Glass have my highest recommendation. Thanks Dane! read more

I had a great experience with Dane of Upper Glass. He was friendly, fair with his price, guaranteed his work as well as timely and accommodating. If you need your windows tinted. He's your guy. I had a rear window that made for a difficult installation of the new window tinting. It involved removing the back seat and other parts. As well as removal of the old bubbled existing tint. Everything was put back together like new and the tinting looks great. So grateful to know someone who takes pride in his work with quality and craftsmanship and stands behind his guarantee. I highly recommend Dane of Upper Glass. read more
