I had never been here before in in spite of frequenting the Chautauqua area, my whole life. But, I finally had an occasion because my tiny niece was the perfect age for this place. There were a ton of rides that were perfect for her as a three year-old. Also, they had rides that were good for ages 4 to 6 as well. She really enjoyed the little roller coaster. Watch out that it is actually a little rough for the adults to ride on because it does jerk a little. Also, there were some really cute little boat rides, including one that took took the children around in a circle. There was very little that she was too small to ride on, so it was completely fantastic. Also, we were able to get her a wristband that gave her all inclusive access to rides. For a few rides that do require adult accompaniment for littles, the adult gets to ride free. There's a food spot towards the bottom of the hill and I highly recommend it. I was able to get platters of fries and corn, dogs and pizza, for not too much money. This is a clutch when it came to reducing the chance of overstimulated little kid meltdowns. Also, it was very sunny, and there was very little shade, so bring the sunscreen. Also, they have free boat parking. So, boating over and walking in is a great option if you happen to have or be renting a boat.

The seats are way closer to the field, stadium is more intimate, pricing is way more affordable and the overall fan experience just cannot be beat. I've gone to many major league games where they don't come close to as much fun as the Rubberdm ducks do. The ticket prices are very reasonable, they offer numerous promotions throughout the season, fireworks on weekends and parking us generally very simple. If you go, you have to get the street corn- look for it behind section 119/120. Kids can sign up yo get a pass for autographs before the game- at guest services and passes are limited. Be ready for lots of foul balls too.

One of my favorites things is seeing Akron Children's Hospital overseeing the ball park. I can only imagine how much it brightens a child's day to look out their hospital room window to see the inside of the ball park. There was a 2026 Extreme Foods article written about food at Akron Rubberducks ball park. My family and I decided to try a couple. The pictures here show The Italian Sausage Dugout from the Bier Garten. For $22 you get the Italian Sausage Dugout (sausage, peppers, onions, marinara, and mozzarella cheese) and a souvenior cup with pop. I was excited and looking forward to this all day, but it was a let down. It wasn't hot in the inside and the French bread tasted like it came out of the freezer. A couple of my other family members got the TeriAkron bowl from the Pineapple Under the C and won't be getting it again. It wasn't as flavorful as one would expect. Overall, a great experience watching the Rubberducks win!

Arnold Anderson Stadium is the home of the Intercounty Baseball League's Brantford Red Sox. While…read morethe team has a storied championship history, the two times I was there the team was mired in a 19-game losing streak, and the attendance numbers bore that out. Being the Canada Day long weekend, the team held a $5 admission day and a free admission day to drive in some fans. While the locals assured me the crowd was more than the recent norm, it was pretty underwhelming. The fans that were there, however, were passionate about their team and were overall friendly and great people. The stadium itself is a fair bit underwhelming. The main seating area behind home plate is obscured by a black chain-link fence supported by rather thick poles which makes you feel like you're watching the game from a prison cell. The other main seating areas are a set of bleachers down either baseline. The only respite from the shade are some picnic tables sitting under some trees all the way down the third baseline (which has no fence separating the seating area from the field of play, just a white line). Being a hot summer day, I sought respite from the sun here for most of both games I was at. It's a pretty unique vantage point, with no separation between you and the game (except that white line) you feel closer to the action and can hear the conversations between the outfielders (and the players aren't shy about chatting with the fans either). The concessions are also nothing to get excited about. The hot dog that I had was pretty awful, and the buns that were supposed to have come from a local bakery did not taste that fresh at all. The prices were good, but you certainly didn't get much for your money, except a desire to eat somewhere else after you left. All-in-all, I still enjoyed my visit to Arnold Anderson Stadium enough the first day, that I came back for a game the next day. It's a bit disappointing that this team that once won six straight league titles is currently sitting in dead last with a 1-19 record. The fans in the community are great and they deserve better. I hope to come back here again sometime and see a better product from the home team.
