Dear DLSZ, My…read moreformative years were spent inside your walls. I wore a green uniform from Junior Prep until Senior Year. Can you imagine that? You were kind enough to reward me with a Loyalty Award when I was finally handed my diploma 13 years ago. I had so much fun with you. You made sure I grew up surrounded by different things- musicals, art fairs, field trips, immersions, and language classes; I did it all. There were days when I hated you so much, I would pretend to be sick just so I could avoid you. But it was almost impossible to escape you, not when your tuition fee cost my parents an arm and a leg. You look so much better now than when I graduated. My only question is, why did it take you so long to place air-conditioners in every classroom? I wish I was able to experience that but it's okay, you're still cool in my book. Love, Mai

I never went to Woodrose but my school was within proximity to this one. They wore red skirts,…read morewhile we wore green ones. We had boy students and they didn't. They had soirees, while we never needed it. Sometimes they beat us in football, sometimes they didn't. There was some sort of rivalry between my school and this one but it was mainly just the girls; the boys from our side on the other hand worshipped the girls here. I have a lot of close friends that graduated from Woodrose and most if not all have made great lives for themselves. I like Woodrose because the people I know from there are really sweet and kind and most of all, have a sense of restraint that one can only get from an exclusive school. Somebody had asked me the other day where I think I will send my future kid to school and without a blink of an eye, I said "Woodrose".
