However, the staff that seems to be very often on after 11...well, aside from the helpful, mellow Caucasian guy in his 20's, i(also a 5) this after 11 guy is ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HORRENDOUS! This guy is seriously ONE of THE WORST, if not THE WORST, employees for Customer Service/Customer Care that I have EVER encountered! He appears to want to turn u into dust with his gaze thru the ever-locked door then when he 'ALLOWS' you to enter a facility where YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY, he straight-up positions himself dead center to wherever u happen to be browsing & has somehow managed to combine glaring at you while you decide with looking like he could NOT imagine a worse hell to be in that working at 711 at night with that dead-eyed gaze of being far more bored than a 9 year old on Summer break! This unprofessional, unfriendly and angry looking man in his late 30's to early 40's (I'm not certain of his heritage) actually had the gall to not ASK me (which STILL would have been unacceptable) but TELL me to "Hurry up and finish" because he had things had to do as far as chores in the store!!! From what I've surmised, at 1:00 a.m. this guy would STILL be there for approx. 4-5 more hours (don't quote me on that, as I'm simply going by when I last saw my lovely evening crew and when the groovy 20-something friendly guy came on) yet he rushed me out of the store after a mere 6 minutes of perusing under the guise of being pressed for chore time. BTW, it appeared to me the store was in great shape as far as mopping, stocking etc because I POINTEDLY looked after his asininely rude comment. I was so pissed off that I left with only 2 items, having actually gone in there for convenience GROCERIES as I hadn't been well and couldn't get to a supermarket. So, Mr. Hurry-Up 'n' Finish (I know, I know...That's what SHE said!) YOU cost the Sardis 711 on that ONE occasion at LEAST $30, maybe $40+...for a convenience store at 1:00 that's no small potatoes if it happens on a regular, multiple time/night basis. Hmmmm, me-thinks some Customer Care seminars are needed for AT LEAST ONE of the 711 staff in my area, for if not for this bad apple my little 7 would have scored a STRONG 4 stars, maybe even a 5! Sorry guys, to the rest of the staff!

Upon seeing them join the line of women, the male employee came up to the line and said that he can let the men into the "men's washroom" while all the women waiting in line, including myself, must continue waiting for the "women's washroom", even though we had been waiting longer. I asked the employee if the washrooms were single stall washrooms (as is typical in gas stations), and he said yes. So I asked him why he couldn't just give the key (to the "men's washroom") to the first person in line and he said he "can't" let women use the "men's washroom", and he REFUSED to give the key to the "men's washroom" to me, or to the girls who were at the front of the line. Instead, he gave the key to my husband, who was toward the back of the line. My husband went into the "men's washroom", and I waited outside the door. When he finished (which was before the woman who had gone into the "women's washroom" before him), I grabbed the key, offered it to the girls at the front of the line, and when they didn't take it, I went in the "men's washroom". I don't know what was inside the "women's washroom", but what was inside the "men's washroom" would blow your mind: there was a toilet, toilet paper, a sink, soap, paper towels, and a garbage can. Wow! I couldn't believe it! Separating TOILETS by genitals/sex/gender pisses me off so much, and puts women (or people who present as women) at a disadvantage. It is extremely discriminatory. And it is completely ABSURD that SINGLE STALL WASHROOMS (one toilet and sink in a private room) are segregated this way. Why can't EVERYONE shit in the same hole?! Segregating washrooms by RACE is no longer acceptable, so why is segregating washrooms by what is between your legs? It is fucking SICK.

There wasn't an option to get Airmiles for filling up too. I guess no one really pays inside. I came to fill up my car on my way to Kelowna. This gas station is huge. It is no different than other Shell that I have been to. Only thing I like about Shell is how bright they are. Also the gas station looks pretty new and clean.

To say that I shop here at least twice per day is being conservative. The staff are all very friendly and I have never had a problem there. One thing that they do that annoys me a bit is when some of them are on the phone the whole time they are serving you. They are always speaking in a language I can't understand and sometimes they don't say anything to me except for how much my bill comes to. I'm guessing that maybe it's a cultural thing? I tend to notice that a lot of people from that part of the world do the same thing. I find it a bit rude, but it may be completely acceptable in their neck of the woods. I dunno... I do know that they have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me when I had a question or something like that. I love this place!
