I studied Architecture at the Faculty of Built Environment here for 1 year, and then dropped out as I sucked at maths. It's a great university, for Architecture, and Sciences as the school of architecture was one of the founding schools of UNSW.
Informally called New South of UNSW, we had a lot of fun studying in the large open fields, enjoying the grander of sandstone Romanesque architecture, and new modern buildings and investments in art that the university constantly made.
The main UNSW campus is divided geographically into two areas: upper campus and lower campus, which often made it difficult to meet others who were studying different things, as the walk could take up to 15 minutes for either end, and can take even longer if the crowd of nearly 46,000 students block your way.
My favourite part about this campus was the bars, cafe's and campus culture which was very prominent. The roundhouse often had great parties and events organised by students and councils, which went off the hook! read more
