The front office staff was very sweet and helpful. I only waited maybe 10 minutes to be taken in the back by a very kind nurse. And, only waited about another 5-10 minutes before Dr. Caulfield actually came into examine me. She was very thorough, asked lots of questions, talked about my options, and explained why she was choosing to take a certain course of action. She has a very friendly personality and is extremely knowledgeable. I felt like I was in great hands and really couldn't have been more pleased with a doctor's visit. I don't have any kids, but if I did, I would absolutely be taking them to Dr. Caulfield and staff. They are a great practice and I am grateful to have found them!

The in-office experience is consistently good; staff are friendly, and every doctor we've seen (including our two primary doctors over the years) has been great about taking their time and answering all our questions. They can tell you if you should come in or not, but beyond that, you're better off using a telehealth service.

She really listened to us when so many other doctors didn't (when my daughter had a milk protein intolerance or was trying to wean from her ng tube, for instance). She's quick to make referrals when necessary and is very prompt in responding to our concerns. But she especially shined recently, when my daughter had a medical emergency while we were traveling abroad. Dr Arora worked tirelessly late at night for hours to get us medication my daughter desperately needed but couldn't get abroad. Dr Arora's compassion for our plight and tenacity in getting a prescription through to a 24 hour pharmacy goes to show what a wonderful pediatrician she is. I believe their Durham location is fairly new, and is part of this large building off NC 54 by the 40 Freeway (it's really easy to find). The staff is not only very friendly, but they were also helpful in getting my new little baby girl set up as a new patient. I am a new first-time mom (just over 2 weeks) and finding a pediatrician before was not necessarily easy. There are so many great choices! I noticed that Chapel Hill PA had a great website, great feedback from friends, and lots of good Yelp reviews for their Chapel Hill location. After giving birth at UNC, my little one and I got quickly set up at their Durham location and have had really pleasant visits since. We have seen Dr. Joe and Dr. Woodrum at the Durham location, and we loved them both - especially Dr. Woodrum! The doctors were both friendly, caring, helpful and attentive to my husband and I's questions and needs. Most of all, they take their time with each family they see. The pediatrics team does a great job of making new parents feel at ease and prepared for the new chapter of life that awaits them. I am so happy to have chosen Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents (Durham Location) for my newborn.

We've seen a few other pediatricians since moving, and nobody has ever compared to Dr. Cooley. She's warm, kind, understanding. She has the perfect temperament to be in the field that she's in. When we had our daughter, she made us feel better about not knowing what we were doing. She never made us feel stupid for the millions of obvious questions that we asked. She always answered with grace and kindness. I wish we could replicate her because she truly is one of a kind. I would recommend Dr. Cooley to anyone - especially to new parents. She is absolutely wonderful.
