This store is filled with men and women's name brand designer shoes such as Camper, Clarksville, D'aquastarta, Diesel, El Natura Lista, Disigual, Art Metropolitan Soul ... and the list goes on. The thing that usually helps me resist going into this store, are the prices. Most of the shoes are in the €80-€120 price range . . . so I'm good with just looking . . . for now. Oh, I will be back though .... I recommend coming in February when they have killer after Christmas sales. I'm talking about 50% off ! . . . I learned my lesson big time this year!! I had my eye on these cute dr. scholls heels and ::::tearing up:::::: I paid :::::sobbing::::: full price !!! . . . . I waited until after christmas, other stores had sales, I figured Avantgarde was too avante garde to cut prices. One month later, same shoes . . . 50% off !!! ::::deep exhale::::: Ok I know February is a long ways away. This shoe store has a huge selection and tons of cute stuff (they've got UBER-CUTE bags/purses too ) so I must recommend passing by here, when your in the neighborhood ... for example when your waiting for your train, as this store is located in the underground mall at SMN (santa maria novella station) so march yourself down there pronto . . . just don't miss your train ; ) p.s. - just saw today that they've got TOMS in !!! . . . Normalmente ci sono 2 o 3 altre ragazze accanto me. Ok, so che febbraio è _ molto lontano.

Motorama is one of the city's major motorcycle accessory supply stores, so they have all sorts of technical clothing as well as a huge variety of helmets, from 60 euros to 3000 euros (not kidding). The helmet section has a display and you're not allowed to touch, so you have to wait to be served - which seems annoying, as it can be pretty crowded on weekends - but the service is really good when you do get it. The guy who helped me was dedicated JUST to me and very, very patient as we had to find something to fit my apparently miniscule head. He brought me anything he thought would be small enough, always choosing the lowest prices too! In the end I got one I'm really happy with, and he accompanied me to the cash and gave me an extra bit of a discount on it.
