As a bourbon fan, Rowans Creek is one of my top two favorites. It's a tie with Knob Creek, but I also enjoy Woodford Reserve. Rowans Creek is very hard to find in Tennessee. It's made by Willetts in Bardstown, and my husband and his best friend used to play in the creek when they were kids. Needless to say, it's a little pricey. I was excited to see a place in Clarksville that I can buy it, and it's only 36.99 a bottle. That's a good price. Anywho...wanted to share.

The employees were friendly and helpful, and I'm a sucker for good customer service. I don't usually make it over to that part of town, and it's a bit farther than I'm used to traveling for liquor purchases, but the competitive prices are also a draw. Bill's is definitely worth another trip, and I will be back!

If you have wines standing up, then it causes it to be much harder to remove the cork. If I'm buying WINE standing up, then I'd rather go to the supermarket. I do, however, appreciate that the cashier walked the whiskey to my car for me, so I didn't drop it. That was kind and greatly appreciated.

Prices and selection were average, but I will have to return to see what wines they get in. The cashier was nice and answered my questions. He offered help as I mulled over what to get. I walked through every aisle and looked at each shelf, but was just indecisive. He pointed out that he had smaller bottles of Jameson (& other liquors) behind the counter and offered the pint and half pint. They were the perfect sizes for my purchase. Sold! I always like the newness of a place that just opens. It's clean. It's spacious ... for now. Everything is neat and orderly to satisfy my CDO. That's OCD in alphabetical order! Haha.

Had one person try to buy me a bottle as I don't drive. they were told by the manager that he only sells to regular customers. he himself is not up there constantly to know who is or is not a regular. so this evening I tried another person who I usually send there for me. the cashier he usually interacts with wasn't working though. so the manager didn't recognize him and told him the shipment didn't arrive. which I had previously confirmed myself when I called and spoke to him. I get owning your business and can conduct it how you want. however, how else do you gain regular customers if you refuse to sell to anyone that you don't personally know. completely unprofessional and no way to run a business that you'd want to succeed.

My only real complaint is that the case discount is only 5% as opposed to 10% which seems to be more standard from their competitors. I suppose the argument could be made that tariffs have caused them to lower their discount rather than raising their prices, but if other places can maintain prices AND double the discount, there's no reason Liquor Warehouse can't.
