Certainly when I was in City Tyres wasn't servicing any flash motors and I did see plenty of people scratching their heads searching I can only assume for a new name. Or rogue head lice. Despite obvious name based dilemmas, these boys are still providing a pretty good service. Fortunately I've only had to make use of them once and only because I was in the area but these sorts of services are always meant for the locals aren't they? I thought they were efficient and they got the job done without any fuss. Not too expensive and they also do paint jobs, bodywork stuff and general servicing.

So risking blue toe syndrome, here you go. This is a tiny little tyre place that gives good quality advice and repairs appropriately. He will repair as opposed to replace and always has stock in. The place is small with barely room for him, his tyres and his equipment. You don't get a waiting room or drinks just the service you need. I've been there twice now (after recommendation by a local garage) and the last time he found two nails in one tyre charging a whole £15 to fix both holes. Fast, reliable, good quality and cheap. I can't recommend him more.

The service is second to none, it is a one man show but he is reliable and honest in his approach to what needs repairing on your car. He is polite and courteous and very knowledgable. If you are in need of a mechanic or some welding he is able to recommend a few and as he says he would not recommend them if they were no good as that would be bad for business. As it is a small operation you do need to be prompt for your appointment time. If you are early you might even benefit from that as the car in front has already gone. The station is easily accessible the only reason I didn't give 5 stars (apart from I never give 5 stars as there is always some which could be improved) is that getting your car out is a little bit tight. Other than that it's the place to go for an MOT.

Report Review My car was making a tiny noise when i went over speed bumps,so i took it in, to have…read moreit looked at.The mechanic called me up , quoting the flap needs replacing ( 54 pounds repairs & part) and it will be fixed by the end of the day.I picked it up & i had extreme trouble steering it off the lot.I thought maybe its the new part, but it did get worse .Back next morning ,turns out the powers steering "suddenly" broke( the pump is situated right next to the flap that was renewed).We did get different "opinions" , one mechanic quoting "power steering fluid was all over the motor", another saying "nothing leaked".They messed up the subsequent repair with the "new" pump( which was a used one) .Quoted us 350 GBP (bad enough as car was steering smooth when i dropped it off)After a week and 432 GBP and my OWN P/S pump fixed,i now paid money for a problem they caused & loss of income( work car).Case is with my lawyer.Rude.Zero Customer service.Lies & bad attitude.
