Normally, I do not like to leave a bad review, but I feel it is necessary to prevent other people from wasting their money. I had a manicure (shellac) and a pedicure done on Sunday and today (Tuesday morning) the Shellac is already beginning to come off. Why? Because she filled my nails so ruggedly that I had to ask her to fix it, which she did AFTER the shellac was put on. For the pedicure, the lady leaned in and messed up the nail polish with her shirt and did not bother to fix it afterwards. I now have a shirt imprint on my big toe polish. I paid 65 Euros for the mani/pedi and I have never felt more ripped off. Please do not go here! read more

Cons: I'm used to nail salons taking reservations, having ventilation (or at least opening the front door for fresh air), having clean tools, and not cutting my cuticles so close that they bleed (on 4 toes I was bleeding!) $35 Euros for a basic pedicure. They've got a strange little assembly-line system going on here... you're shuffled around from person to person. Which is fine, but it's not like it's an organized system so sometimes people get forgotten. I wouldn't go here for something simple like a manicure, or anything else they would consider "cheap" - it took me 2 solid hours to get a polish change because they kept forgetting about me!! On the other hand, the quality of work was good and the staff relatively friendly, so I will probably return to get a shellac mani and/or pedi. read more

Pedicure looks good from distance. As a person who got pedicure in a looot of other places and seen a lot of techniques, i gotta say this was the worst ever. First of all, the service is very bad. You have to sit between chineese speaking people who only use their mother tongue to talk to each other which i find extremely rude. As an expat in amsterdam, not even my very bad dutch helped. The 60-70 years old man who soaked my nails and cleaned them was not speaking not even one single word in dutch. I don't want to say anything about the age of the man or to question his capabilities but i can assure you i didn't even try to tell him i want a square shape for my nails because I honestly think he wouldn't have known what i am talking about. In 2 hours staying there, i was not even offered a glass of water. The dutch ladies working there were too busy doing their own manicure or shaping their eyebrows. Another lady applied the shellac on my nails which looks ok, but definitely not worth 55€. I do not think they disinfect the tools they use, as i saw the man removing some nails from in between a tool just in front of me, seconds before using it on me. I was not even asked if i have any pain on my nails or problems with corns. I had to remove the corns i always have on the edge of the nail HOME, by MYSELF. Don't go here for acrylics. The techs use an electric file and are untrained. They filed my nails far too much when really all you need is a brief roughen up with a heavy grid emery board. I asked the tech not to use it the second time I went, but she did anyway. Also, the glue on one of my fingers had somehow disolved. When I went in for a fill I mentioned it and the girl said it would be fine. My nail broke off shortly after. All in all they just want you in and out asap and do not care for quality. read more

Horrible, nasty attitudes. Unorganized mess. Went without appointment and they were busy so at first I was told 40 min wait-expected wasn't an issue. Instead I made an appointment for the next day. I went a little early and got quite the obnoxious blonde woman and was told I wouldn't be taken until appointment time again I get it what I don't get is taking every walk in before me after then waiting 20 minutes past booking time I walked out. Unfortunately I usually go to the Beinjkorf KOH however this is no longer not sure what happened in there but was disappointing and this place set fire to the flames. Coming from the states the prices for a mani/pedi alone would've kept me out but I was desperate not to desperate to be treated like dirt and then pay so I chose to leave and do them myself. Short story: rude, trashy service and overpriced. Long story: I went here for a mani pedi and had such a bad time for the pedi that I left without getting the manicure. First I was left to wait in the pedicure chair for almost 40 minutes, no explanation, no offer of a glass of water - with my feet in cold water until I asked for them to warm it up. The salon is super noisy and very poorly ventilated - it reeks of chemicals. When the girl finally did come to do my pedicure she didn't greet me, and was almost hostile. She stopped working several times to gossip with her coworkers. At one point she started laughing with her coworker and pointing to my foot. It just goes on and on... When this terrible experience was finally over, the color was uneven so I asked her to fix it. She replied that was just how the color was. Eventually the woman at reception came over and fixed it. I can't imagine why this place is as busy as it is. Do NOT support this business. The people are very rude. After having my nails done there, I needed a cab to get back to my hotel safely. Not ONE person in there would use the local phone line and dial seven 7s and tell the cab driver the address. Told me to go around the corner to a taxi sign, of which I never found. I am handicapped, and walked about 2 miles back to my hotel, using my phone GPS. Had to spend the rest of my trip in horrible pain. Do NOT support this business. read more

Wimpers niet doen! Maybe they are good in nails but for lashes I would not recommend it:uncomfortable chairs that give u backpain -especially if your are taller (in good places you lay down with your fet up as well ,not sit down),glue that burns in your eyes(I don't have this with my standard studio which unfortunatly is on summer break now) and the result is less than average(lashes sit sometimes from the beginning not good). Oh, and they managed that my eyes were really like glued together - didnt have this that extreme in other places.In the end when I complained that some lashes don`t sit right I had to wait another 20min until they fixed it (the lady was already busy with another customer). Then they left me with the tape under my eyes instead of informing me that they were finished now, or how long I had to wait. All in all:dont do lashes there! If it would not have been for availability (they do have very flexible opening times) I would not have gone at all. read more

First, I got my new set solar nails done here. And I was't really satisfied, because they didn't even talk with their customer or giving any information about how its work. And suddenly the nail technician said that my nails were done. They didn't even ask me, what I want or which color I would like to have in my nails. I got plain solar nails without any polish. And after 2 weeks, I'm back for filling it up again. And it was worse ever. The male technician work's was so bad, my nails not looking good its too thick and not in the right shape and he seems didn't care about how I felt. And we was take a break to eat in small room during working my nail (well you can smell the odor too, so unprofessional) and it was 11 in the morning goshh.. And somebody took his work for me, and it was't good at all. The nail polish is almost dry a.k.a old and my nails look so ugly. And since then I would never ever back to this place again. read more
