I went to visit the CAB while experiencing some, ahem, minor difficulties at work (hem hem say no…read moremore). I found them extremely well informed, with a lot of extra resources at their fingertips, and very keen to put clients in full possession of all the facts pertinent to their case. All power to the excellent staff, especially in light of the fact that these people are largely volunteers. You do have to get there awfully early in order to be seen, let me caution you! Unbelievably early! In fact, I would say give them a phone call and check their hours out before just turning up: otherwise you may well just be wasting your time. But it's liable to be well worth a visit should you be in the position of needing a little advice
