Let me start by saying I haven't been to a chiropractor before, so I'm not sure if the things I felt were a bit weird really are or if it is due to my ignorance. I came in on a Groupon (which is a fabulous deal btw). The people were, for the most part, friendly each time I visited. The Groupon package includes 4 adjustments, 4 20 min massages, and x-rays. The first appointment was the X-ray and meeting with their head chiropractor (I think?). He was nice, walked me through everything, I was in and out quickly. The second visit I met with their insurance person to discuss cost if I were to come regularly. Here was where I felt the first fishy thing happened.... They explained that my copay would be lower if, in addition to adjustments, I got injections, by 10$ a visit. I am not ok with getting injections if I don't need them, and they were fine with that, but it seems like there must be some tricky billing going on to make it cheaper if you get more services (especially when your case doesn't warrant said services). Anyway, move on to the actual services....the massages there are amazing! The people were professional and they found the areas that hurt almost immediately and then focused there.... The massages I received here we're some of the most targeted and efficient massages I have ever had.... Gold star massage staff! The adjustments.....were ok. I was a little concerned when I had my first adjustment and the chiropractor (?) Said.... Oh, I don't have your file....oh well, lay down. Uhhh. I thought the adjustments were specific to areas that need adjusting? I really don't know if that's standard protocol. Regardless, the chiropractor cracked pretty much every bone in my back and neck each visit. He was very warm and friendly. I'm not sure the adjustments did much for me, but that could just be a personal thing. My overall experience was a positive one, though I doubt I'll be a regular client. Been going to this location for the past 3 months. Very satisfied with the staff and services. First time visitors get the hydrotherapy/water massage which is fantastic. Once you get the routine, every visit is quick. I like when businesses are respectful of your time and this place gets you in and out and feeling better. My girlfriend and I have both been going here since August 2009. We get physical therapy, trigger point massage, and our adjustments. We see Dr. Bryson. What I love: Its clean, theres a big TV to watch while you do your therapy, and all the massage girls are super nice. Theres hardly any waiting usually. We can make our appointment within an hour of needing to be there and they have space for us. You get a free massage when you refer a friend too. Kristi is my favourite massage therapist. She is amazing. AMAZING. I get horrible migraines and she gives this awesome scalp massage that makes the migraine go away. Bonnie is also great too. We can ask Dr. Bryson about pain issues we're having out of the normal, like my girlfriends knee hurting, or my sinuses being sore, and she will work on those too. Everyone is so friendly! What I don't like: Lots of clients bring their kids, and the kids just kind of run around, and everyone seems ok with it. This drives me insane, especially when I'm trying to do my stretches and the kids are playing on the machines. read more

I love this place! Talk about a "one stop" for sports injuries and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). I have been to several different HRT clinics in the valley but none have made me feel as welcome or appreciated as Pain Stop Tempe. After years at the other places: nobody knew my name or acted like they had ever seen me before, about 50% of the time I would get a "hello" upon entry, almost never a "thank you" or "goodbye" after paying- just poor customer service that frustrated me. I took my excellent insurance coverage elsewhere and found Pain Stop Tempe. The RN Robert at the Tempe office is such a great guy! After the second visit, he knew my name and greeted me in passing. Wow. Any questions or issues, he is on top of it and gets things taken care of. Robert is so helpful and friendly; to me, he is the star at the office. The girls at the front desk are really nice as well- I'm always greeted and thanked for my business. Little things like that go a long way with me. The medical assistants are friendly; some are a little more outgoing than others but caring service for the most part. For a quick HRT shot, you'll be in and out within 10-15 minutes (depending on time of day, etc). As far as One-Stop-Shop: along with HRT, this place does chiropractic adjustments, electro/heat therapy with massages, rehab, X-rays, ultrasound, sports wrapping, weight loss, muscle injections and more. ALL under ONE Co-Pay with good insurance (they'll check to see what your insurance covers as each policy is different). Amazing! read more

I am so thankful that I took my husband's advice and went to someone for my unbearable pain. I started coming to the Pain stop Tempe back in early 2017. From the get go, I was welcomed and for lack of words, they made me feel special. Right away labs works and allergy testing were done along with X-rays and ultrasounds. (This place is a one stop shop!) My diagnosis was quick and plan was put in place right away. Might I add that I had seen so many doctors before that just kept pushing pills on me that made my arthritis and my pain 10 times worse. This wasn't the case with Tala and I will forever be grateful for that. She literally saved my life. The patient coordinator Lynn is on top of her game and made dealing with insurance so much easier. She is my miracle worker :-) All of the medical staff are so professional and caring and made the weekly visits more bearable. Dr. York is a miracle worker, I haven't had this much movement/flexibility since I was in late teens/early 20's. The front office ladies are always so welcoming and really make the visit so much easier. I love Pain stop Tempe so much because I am now able to really enjoy life and be active again. I found White Rock through my work, and have never been feeling better or happier. First, their approach is much more holistic than many chiropractors I have been too. Stretching, adjustment and trigger point massage work together to realign your spine. Secondly, Dr. Bryson always takes time to make sure that she's covered everything that's bothering me. About the only drawback is their hours, but since I work an off schedule, for most people it's not an issue. read more

Not only am I a client but now my wife is addicted to The pain stop. Its very convenient for me as I work just down the street. She drives about 22 miles to get here. She had never visited a chiropractor in her life and was more than hesitant. To say that she was not interested would be an understatement. Like many people, she was possibly a little afraid and quite doubtful of the results that she would experience. She and I work out often and hard and she is now appreciating the benefits of the adjustments the doctors at the Pain Stop Clinic provide. If you are active and experience pain or soreness, you need to give them a try. They keep us moving without all of the aches and pains we would normally experience from our daily grind. They have electro muscular stimulation, chiropractic, massage, sports tapping, you name it. If nothing else, good luck finding someone that is trained to properly tape an injury with KT tape! They are friendly, fast, the clinic is clean, they are knowledgeable, and they definitely care! Oh yeah.....and they do allergy testing!!!! No better place to go for allergy testing! Allison is simply fantastic, I have never met a more caring, sweet, nice, thoughtful Nurse Practioner in my life; although, I do really like Susan as well. Who knew that these two could make getting six injections twice a week enjoyable! Kristi is also a wonderful addition to the team, I enjoy our conversations and the stretches she has taught me to help alleviate some of my pain. Overall this place actually addresses the deep underlying issues and provide therapy that truly works. I have had chronic headaches for years and I have finally found the cure. I cannot say enough about what a great clinic this is. All of the staff is wonderful. Being a health care professional myself, I am completely amazed by the multi-disciplinary approach that is taken here. All of the health care professionals consult each other on your medical conditions and set a unique health plan for each patient. Most patients pay one low copay for all the services at each visit and work with you based on what you can afford. I have suffered from nerve pain for years and seen many doctors, but on my first visit the NP performed a procedure that no one has ever mentioned was a possibility before that decreased my symptoms immensely. I have been going to Pain Stop in Tempe , sense they came to my place of employment and gave free back massages . They have been assume! They are an caring and understanding staff, The staff all communicates from one section of treatment to the next . I have had two back surgeries and have Fibromyalgia and pain in my bursa like crazy after a few visits twice a week , I feel I'm on the mend.
