Yes there is a stair lift but thinks about getting, perhaps, 25+ people up the stairs on this lift which is slow and after going up must come back down to get another person - HOURS. Next there is only one bathroom for 25+ people. The caterer that the funeral home recommended did a "drop and run" (Elegant Tents and Catering). Their All-Inclusive package did not include anything to drink. So what is All-Inclusive???? The family of the deceased is usually not able to remember "everything" and All-Inclusive should mean everything!!!! that an event would/should need. Also there was no employee of Elegant Tents in this room on arrival which meant some attendees were left to open all the food items. What if there was a problem??? Who to call??? We were later told by the funeral home that an employee would have been an additional charge. (Remember All-Inclusive). And when we were cleaning up what did we find but a hot box that contained two additional trays of Chicken Parmesan. Who was supposed to know this??? My opinion as well as others that attended this funeral was that Elegant Tents Catering really falls short In doing what they are paid to do. Kapr Funeral really does not think about funeral attendees but just want to rent this most undesirable room to unsuspecting people and prey on the grieving. Buyer Beware.

A friend of some 50 years passed away in an adjacent county to his home of record. County rules and procedures in Pennsylvania differ at the county level. This friend was the last of his bloodline. He was predeceased by an older brother and by both parents. His wife had passed away the previous year and they had no children between them, having been married later in life. There was no blood relative to assist with his post-mortem wishes. Ashley showed an extraordinary level of both knowledge and compassion as she helped his two best friends -- myself and another -- work through the labyrinthine requirements to have an unclaimed body claimed by friends to carry out the deceased wishes after his death. She set up everything. She worked with the adjacent county coroner, provided guidance as to the best way to proceed, and all the while, she was caring - perhaps the word "lovingkindness" would be more accurate. That she would work so hard for someone who died with many friends, but no family, leads me to believe she would be among the very best in helping a family which had lost a loved one. The only unfortunate part of this review is that I am limited to only five stars, if ten were available, that number would be insufficient.
