There are two services each…read moreSunday, one in English and one in Spanish, but the church is bilingual/multicultural with all members enjoying each others company and serving in various ministry and leadership roles together. The pastors are kind, intelligent, and gracious and the overall vibe is one of inclusion and openness. Many members of the congregation are active in social justice and community service activities. The church has a feeding program (Bread of Life) that offers meals to the hungry. The Episcopal style of worship is liturgical, which can seem a little formal and perhaps confusing if you're not used to it, but, after a few times of giving it a try, its beauty and depth shines through. Sermons are short (about 15 minutes), but usually challenging invitations to explore the deep places of the spiritual life. Never any "you must believe this or go to hell!" kind of stuff. Communion is offered every Sunday; this is a sacramental church that puts the Eucharist at the center of its worship. All baptized Christians regardless of denominational background are welcome to receive communion and everyone is welcome at the altar for a blessing. All Saints/Todos los Santos is a generous place that gives a person space and support right where they are at the moment and gently encourages them in healthy growth in all areas of their life. This is not a big church with tons of highly-promoted programs and superstar preachers or a ripping rock band, but its a place where your heart can find a home in loving community.

I'm so excited that Mission Oxnard is around now because I am a resident of Oxnard, and it's cool to have something in my town instead of having to go all the way to Ventura. I also love that Mission Oxnard has the same clear and Bible-based sermons and great worship music with a smaller, more intimate vibe. My RED FLAGS went off when looking at Schools and about to book my flight to The Channel Islands, given the address, thinking it was mistake, the address given was 3326 Nyeland Avenue Oxnard, CA 93036, which I had to call and verify that I wrote it down properly. Last I checked Oxnard, CA is very far from the Channel isands, they were very open about the cost for their "non accredited" "Doctorate" fee and advised that "EVERYONE ENROLLED WILL RECEIVE A DOCTORATE." Overall it seemed more like Commission based sales role to get students to pay for a piece of paper. It seems Jeff is quite confused consider a NON ACCREDITED COLLEGE does not produce A SINGLE CREDIT and seemingly works for this so called UNIVERSITY and there is nothing that will be done considering this Profit making Business is no longer in Business and must obviously have a connection to CEO TROY WELCH. The least one can do is get credit for the work they put in to learn anything they are doing, the ministry does not take this so called school seriously and if somehow there was a single ministry position given you should consider yourself lucky as no one actually looked up the University.
