The accident occured 1 1/2 hours from home on a Thursday morning, I contacted my agent when they opened and did not hear back from the adjuster until 6pm that evening. I called the next morning and she called me back at at the same time but I wasn't near my phone, stating that she would call me back first thing Monday morning. I then called Monday (three times) and did not hear back until my agent contacted her supervisor the next daym. This entire time I was without a rental car and the process has continued to be just as bad. No response, have to continually follow up, etc.. Is that how everyone is treated after a claim?

I've calling Geico a couple times earlier today because I received a letter in the mail about my home insurance getting cancelled. I was told they were getting slammed with back to back calls, and will receive a call back. After waiting for 2 hours, I still didn't get a call so I drove down to the office before they closed at 5pm. I have trust issues. I sat down with Jon getting ready to rip him a new one for making me waste time and gas, but he was so friendly and helpful! Hahaha! Sometimes it just takes a little bit of understanding and great customer service to calm down a raging Mylan *smiles* Confirming that it wasn't really cancelled, he advised that switching homeowners insurance can be a little hectic as mortgage companies aren't quick with changes to insurance. He also even went over my policy to make sure I understood what they covered. Jon didn't seem annoyed or even frustrated working with me because I asked a lot of questions.
