The price was reasonable; they were not the cheapest, but they do quality work. I would hire them again.

Communication and speed -- I left my original request for service thru text on Mon afternoon, and got an initial response on the same day. Judd was able to send his team to us the next day, and that is in the middle of summer rush of requests. Prior to that, all companies I talked to were giving me 3 plus weeks of lead time. 2. Complicated issue -- we had a new condenser installed by a different company, that was not able to make it work due to the difficulties accessing the indoor unit, that was installed in a closet. We then had another technician attempting to solve the issue for us and failing. It was a challenge to find a company that was willing to deal with this mess. We got multiple rejections, saying they are not willing to deal with someone else's unfinished work. Dalicandro's team not only accepted the challenge, but also assured us that they can resolve the issue end to end, even if it requires out of the box thinking and opening the wall to access the indoor unit. 3. Accuracy of diagnosis and successful repair -- Seamus was very clear about all the steps that were executed to diagnose the issue. They were systematic and logical and found the culprit in the indoor unit. It turned out to be a plugged metering device. They successfully replaced it and we had working system in the same day! I was very impressed by their professionalism and highly recommend Dalicandro for all your HVAC needs

From the minute they arrived it was all professional, courteous, and very efficient. Right now, it can be weeks, to months, to get a licensed HVAC installer or service provider to arrive and the larger companies in the area will want 2 hours labor the minute they pull in your driveway. Dalicandro & Sons rates were very competitive, and he honestly was doing everything he could to help me SAVE MONEY, not padding his wallet. I'd recommend Dalicandro & Sons for an entire system replace, new install, or repair of any existing HVAC system.... highly recommend.

I did have to call and email multiple times to have the issue resolved, but it was resolved. Hopefully others have a more positive experience with this company than we did: They came to our home in May 2024 for AC "tune up" for the season. I was told that the system was in great order by the tech and supervisor with him. They charged me for the service: $169. That very same day the motor on our condenser failed. The part was under warranty, luckily; although they tried to charge me for the part, until I reminded the billing department I looked up the warranty myself. They did charge for the labor (169 again)-- despite the motor failure occurring the day they tuned up the system. November of 2024, we realized the Honeywell control board for our heating system had failed. Our system was about five years old at that point. Schulz techs replaced that part and charged us 455 for the service, which we paid shortly after receiving the bill. We paid using their online payment system on 11/17/2024 and payment processed 11/18/24. Eight months after they replaced the control board and we paid for the service, they sent another invoice for that same part from 11/2024 for 296 dollars. The original bill was for parts and labor. We found a far better company to use. We will not use Schulz again. Luckily my husband has his credit card statement and invoice to show we paid previously. Maybe just an error, but it isn't the first issue with this company.

It was later discovered that they had failed to properly install the original drainage system back, because the rainwater stayed on the roof and couldn't be drained away. It used cheap glue, perhaps because the canal was submerged in water for a long time and started to loose after two years. At the beginning there were only two or three places, but later there were more and more loose and later, bubbles began to appear in many places. It turns out that the entire new replacement was not built to standard. It's very difficult for ordinary people like us to notice. Therefore, you need to consider this before choosing them.

They did an overpriced, shoddy job installing our roof actually leaving tiles all over it including a tile glue-side down on the skylight that we had to chase them to come remove and a giant permanent black stain on the sidewalk in front of our house. The skylight leaked a month later and again we had to chase them to even get a response. Ignored our calls and would blow off set appointments with no communication whatsoever. Finally they sent two random guys, who didn't bring a ladder (roofers!) and had to use mine, and they charged us more money saying it was because of a mild storm we had. This never happened with our previous roof and was obviously to get out of honoring their fake warranty. Months later the roof leaks again, and again they're either ignoring our calls altogether or the shifty owner tells us a time then blows it off. Avoid this horrible scam of a business at all costs.
