Damn, when the Hell did I turn 60 ?…read more Not sure whats going on in my head but I now listen to this station more and more and I even go to the website to check out their playlist. The only way to know what I want to hear again is to jot down the time that a certain piece was playing, otherwise, unless you know it by heart, you'll never be able to discern who or what is playing. NOTE: The other review site, for frequency 90.7, will be useless because the station has moved to a more powerful transmitter at FM 104.9. Also, the fund raising is NOT nonstop, their campaigns are short. This is a channel worthy of a listen, if not support, from the discerning classical music aficionado. They do not limit themselves to recorded performances of old music but actually venture into neoclassical and modern composers' works. I turn here for classical, and I recommend anyone waiting for KPBS' "filler" programming at night do so, as well. XLNC 1 is superior in content and in delivery format, and is not eliminating functions such as news and commentary, as KPBS is wont to do. The station, mostly free now of the founder's widow and her marrow-sucking proclivities, is doing well and sounding great. Try them at their new home and enjoy!
