A new friend told me about this gem. I finally found it and was pleasantly surprised. A great Indian grocery store chock full of goodies. As I walked around saw one of the employees making fresh sugarcane juice to order. Well I had to try that! It was delicious! From later research, I found out that fresh sugarcane juice has many health benefits. They have fresh produce, fresh meat, frozen & cold foods of every kind. I spoke with the lovely owner and found out they also have fresh made hot samosas to go. There is also a nice selection of beauty products and incense. I will definitely return soon. Especially during the hot Florida summer heat for a glass of fresh sugarcane juice. UPDATE 6/10/24 My second visit because craving some fresh sugarcane juice on this hot day. It was very refreshing. I also tried one of their potato/veggie samosas. Outstanding flavor and crunch. Will def get that again.

Masala Chicken, Indian rice, peta bread! You have got to get here!!! No words can explain the spices and flavors

The samosas at this market were really delicious! Can't wait for them to have a full menu.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had!…read more Stopped in for a weekend lunch and was given the "2 second tour" by the owner. Super impressed by their fresh and packaged meats and pastas (including gluten free). Got one of the special sandwiches with figs and goat cheese which was brought to my table for me. Y'all. It was amazing. When I paused to take a breath, I had already inhaled a quarter of it! A picture perfect cannoli finished off the meal and I got to chat with the owner's mom, Elena and waved to her husband Bob (working the deli). Will definitely be back!

Josephine's Italian Market is a gem of a place for lunch in Brandon. Located in an older strip…read moreplaza off 60 near South Kings, you'd never suspect such a delightful, bustling place with top notch food is here. The parking lot is your only indicator, it wasn't packed for Sherwin Williams, the salon or the nail shop, that's for sure. My wife and I wanted some lunch. We were looking for a place as we headed back to Valrico from Tampa and my wife always loves an Italian sandwich. We walked in to a pretty busy place. People sitting about, a small bar area, a little market selling dried pastas and other goods to make your own authentic Italian meal. We were greeted by a friendly guy, who I can only assume was the owner. He asked if it was our first time. We said yes and he gave us the quick tour. A coffee bar, the market, the fridges with Italian sausage and pastas and then the big board. Their menu. He went over what they offered and what they are known for and left us to it. Without a doubt, my wife ordered the Italian. Ham, capicola, salami, peperoni, provolone, lettuce, red onion and hot and sweet peppers. This was also topped with dressing. A good slab of meats, a bit of spice, a depth of flavors you'd expect and all placed between fresh, tasty bread. My wife highly enjoyed this and would order again. I got the Monica. Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, tomato, pesto and a balsamic glaze. The salty, thin meat was the base for this excellent, fresh and flavorful sandwich. I was looking for something a little "lighter" and this hit the bill. A more veggie forward sandwich, the cheese, arugula, tomato, pesto and balsamic brought all the flavor here and the salty-sweet flavor of the paper-thin sliced Italian ham added just the right amount of meat. The bread here was also a standout. I'd order this again too. As we sat and ate, more and more people came in, more and more people greeted the same way we were. Josephine's has what you're looking for in a family owned, local spot. Heart and excellent food. We'd come back here for sure.

The best roasted barbecue pork belly you'll ever have in your entire life. I like to get the full…read moreslab and have them cut it in front of me. It was still piping hot when I ate it in the car. The top skin is very crispy and the pork belly meat is very soft and tender and it taste tasted like it was just right out out of the oven. I also ordered the sua siu pork, and it was very tender and delicious as well. This oriental grocery store is the most organized and decorated grocery store I've ever been into. They have a whole aisle, dedicated to the Chinese beauty drink, which my mother has stockpiled the ingredients for me and I make a tea of it every week. My mother was with me to help me pick out the pork belly, and she had stated that the prices are pretty decent however, there are some items where the prices are higher than other oriental grocery stores but overall the prices are very decent here. The prices for their deli station is very nicely priced I would say much cheaper than the other places and the quality is much higher than at the other places so it's definitely a win-win situation at this place. They have a very large parking lot and it's very close to downtown Tampa and it's very close a couple blocks away from armature works.
