First of all he did NOT introduce himself or shake our hands upon meeting us. Nor did he acknowledge the couple who referred us to him. Andrew spent the majority of our meeting criticizing our desire to prioritize our kids' college education. He told us that college was a waste of money and that our kids needed jobs. Andrew came across as extremely arrogant and had a clear lack of respect for higher education, particularly doctors. He bragged constantly about how much money he has, how he began working at a young age and how successful he's been. He made assumptions about our lifestyle, careers and our parenting decisions without knowing anything about us and without having any kids of his own. The silver platter service during the meeting and the red rose he hands women as a parting gift I found to be incredibly obnoxious, but not as much of an "ick" as the autographed copy of his book that he handed us on the way out. This is the first online review I've ever submitted and I'm doing so only because the experience was SO bad and so unprofessional. Andrew McNair is likely not for you if you value education, have kids, or want to be treated with respect. Possibly the most arrogant person I've ever met.

This is by far my favorite branch. Excellent service every time. I almost always go here whether…read moreit's a phone call, drive thru visit, or I walk in. I'm not a huge fan of the new branch on Palafox though and would much rather go to the Gregory Street branch. The teller machines at the new branch are awkward and I'd much rather speak to someone face to face. There is much less confusion that way. The teller broke down the bills differently than what I had asked but the machines are a hassle to deal with so I just told her it was fine. She was nice enough about it, but if she had been standing in front of me, it could have been easily fixed. It is awkward that you have to speak in such a loud tone for them to hear you, that it echos and everyone in the building can hear you. There is a bright light that shines on your face so that the teller can see you clearly to verify who you are... which is helpful that Pen Air is concerned with security but the light is very uncomfortable on your eyes. I applaud Pen Air for being at the forefront of technological advances, but I would much rather have a personable experience with the Pen Air family. I will continue to frequent my favorite branch on Gregory (and the Pace branch too!) and avoid the Palafox branch even though it is more conveniently located.
