I had an unpleasant and brief experience with Efab a couple months ago. I applied for a temporary…read moreAdmin role online, and while I was at a skill building workshop a woman called Elaine left me a voice message. During my break from the workshop I called her back to discuss the role, of course assuming I was now considered for the interview or I wouldn't have been contacted. When she answered, I informed her of who I was and apologised for missing the call, explaining how I was at a workshop. She then went on to have a casual chat with me (I'm not one for casual, I'm quite the professional woman) about what I've been doing lately. I told her how I've been looking for admin work since I moved to Milton Keynes, and I left my previous job at a club as it just isn't me, plus I couldn't cope with the unsociable 2am finish. She then rudely said Any job is a job, you shouldn't leave one unless you have another clearly not understanding what I'd just explained to her. She then went on about her own daughter who is apparently earning a lot of money and doing well (She spoke as though it'd be a privilege to become someone as snotty as this woman) and that she worked part time in Claires accessories before she got to where she is now. I was getting impatient at this point, as she was wasting my time. I don't give a rats a*se about her daughter, and I have no interest in being the cookie cutter invasive type that is a shop assistant! After this, she asked me to email her my CV. I had already attached my CV with my initial application, so this portrays clumsy organisation on Efabs part. However I sent the CV in an email a few hours later when I was home from the workshop, and I received a response from her saying It's too late. I told you to email me it earlier. How dare she! I made it perfectly clear I was not at home, and that I was at a skill building workshop, and would send it later that day. I sent an email to Elaine asking for a HR contact number or email. She clearly knew I was going to complain, as I received no response from her after that! I am now in a comfortable administrator role with Blue Arrow recruitment (And most likely already earn more than Elaine and her daughter) and would strongly advise you visit them instead for any warehouse, office, driving and catering work.

Had a call earlier today with them and i couldnt believe how negative the recruitment agent was…read more Basically i am actively looking for a job as i have been made redundant on my last job and the agent managed to shatter my confidence even more! She basically said that i had made a bad move by changing jobs last year and then when it came to disclose what salary i am looking for she basically "wished me luck" as i'm not eligible to that sort of money with my experience. Believe me i was on a very realistic sum for my level and experience. She also asked me about my skills and qualifications and when i told her that i learn fast she blatantly told me that no one says that they can learn fast or that they are stupid! I was absolutely stunned! So if anyone is seeing this comment from Efab, let me just point out that when someone approaches you they do not want a life experience coachinh but a job. No matter how insane you think potential candidate is do not be patronising in any way or else you are better off just shutting down the "business" rather than trying to run it with them sort of agents.
