We knew…read moreeach other was the one immediately and within two weeks of meeting, we put a deposit down for Deidre to photograph our wedding. Yup, you read that right! I knew of Deidre's work from my college friends getting married and while I had since moved from IL to CA, I still very much always dreamed of having her as my photographer. Fast forward and we had no idea 2020 would bring all that it did when it came to planning for our wedding during a pandemic. Deidre stuck with us the whole way even when we moved the wedding from CA to CO at the last moment. Her assistant, Casey, found us the most beautiful locations in the national forest for our wedding. I can't thank Casey enough for all she did the day before our ceremony with location scouting and the day of with making sure everything was well documented...and of course absolutely beautiful photos! When it came to our rescheduled reception, Deidre and Casey were unable to attend in person (thanks covid for the new date). However, Deidre found a local photographer to shoot the day and then edited them herself. We were still able to get one of a kind photographs for all the important moments and more! This is such a short version of all that happened and what Deidre walked through with us. I am very grateful for her staying with us throughout the whole process. She's not only incredibly talented, but also a kind and loyal person. I have no reservation in recommending her to anyone getting married. She and her team are more than worth the investment!

My husband and I hired Erin Ehnle Photography to take our wedding pictures. We were looking for…read moresomeone local to where our wedding would take place, who had some wedding photography experience under their belt but who was still young to the industry and able to provide reasonable pricing for our conscientious budget. Original Pricing Offer: $1,500 7 hours wedding coverage including getting ready photographs 250 edited pictures on a DVD with rights to print/copy/etc 1 hour engagement session and 25 engagement pictures We already had engagement pictures done, so I asked for that to be removed and price reduced. I also said that I didn't want getting ready pictures so hours of her being at the wedding would realistically be 2:30 - 6:30. (Ceremony and reception were right by each other and we didn't have dancing or the "traditional" wedding festivities.) In summary, I was trying to get the most pictures of the ceremony and reception provided since we would only be receiving 250 pictures. And I wanted this to be provided at the most fair price given her initial pricing package. She was able to offer us $1400 4-5 hours coverage 250 edited pictures on a DVD with rights to print/copy/etc - she picks the 250 and we never see the other pictures Although I felt that we should have more price reduction from fewer hours and no engagement session/pictures, I still felt that $1400 was a reasonable investment for what we wanted and within our budget. I was hesitant about not being able to pick and not even getting to see, any of the other pictures. Her reasoning was that she doesn't want clients to see "less than perfect work". Our wedding was May 18. And I thought things went really well. She seemed to be taking lots of pictures. But honestly I had other things on my mind and wasn't watching over her ;) We received our DVD in the mail and were completely disappointed. Obviously I should have understood better what the 250 pictures would be comprised of but we have close to 90 duplicate pictures. Some of this I understand and appreciate her desire to give us options, but I feel a little cheated of the rest of my wedding that wasn't provided in her pictures. Especially when every group picture (traditional family pictures, bridal party, etc), has a duplicate - and the majority of these are 1 picture where someone has eyes closed/isn't smiling/hair in face/not quite in place and the other picture is absolutely perfect. She also provided duplicates with different filters and in B&W, but this is to a lesser severity. I reached out to her and explained the situation. Unfortunately she has deleted all other pictures before we had even received the DVD. She blamed me for not telling her to do things differently (even though I was unaware this was even a concern). She felt that the best she could offer was a 10% refund. My husband and I felt that this was not fair given the percentage of pictures we feel have been duplicated. She agreed to send a 15% check. We expressed that we still felt this was not fair but that we expected to receive some sort of compensation. However, weeks passed and we hadn't received anything. We reached out to her asking to confirm where she was at with the situation. She has now decided that she will be providing no compensation. I do want to be honest and share that in talking with her on the phone, I let my emotions of the situation get the best of me. I used harsh words and expressed that if she refused to provide compensation that we would be writing reviews and sharing with others our experience. Because of this, she feels that she is justified in no longer having to refund us. In summary, if you are considering using this photographer, I strongly suggest having a contract in place that covers how photos that aren't provided will be stored and managed before you have seen your pictures, number of unique pictures, and compensation if you are not satisfied. Her current practices are to delete all alternate pictures before customers have seen the photos, provide numerous duplicate photos that count against total # of pictures provided, and no monetary refund of any kind.

(Plus a few months prior to the wedding they repainted the entire room a tannish/brown...no longer the "meh" forest green.) What made Packard EVEN better was the staff. I had the best wedding planner in the world and am so sad for future brides that Kori won't be there to help you...she was amazing! (Don't worry, there are other wonderful ladies there that will help you and be awesome for you!) The reception went smoothly and that is mostly due to the organization of the staff at Packard. They have binders for every couple getting married and keep every email, conversation, checklist, you name it...in that binder. Last, the chef/caterer, One World....We got SOOOO many compliments on the food at our wedding. We literally had a friend email us to tell us how great it was and how he had never had that good of food at a wedding before. It was phenomenal! I loved Packard Plaza and our photos from the reception turned out amazing. Highly, highly recommend it!

The second floor overlooks the seating area and surrounds the dance floor. It seems that they bring the wedding party up so that they can make their grand entrance down some stairs to the head table. The only thing is that they don't utilize the space any more than that, although some of the photographers used it for pictures. The space is right for a smaller size wedding. The staff was quite adept at keeping tidy during service, almost so much so that they almost took away stuff I was still working on. I don't fault them too much on that, they were busting their butts out there. The only thing I didn't like is that sitting at the head table I could see the food carts being rolled in around the DJ table to the kitchen area. I thought that looked kinda weird. Overall we had a really good time and a lot of people got out on the dance floor. That's all that matters.

So my husband and I just got family portraits with unscripted motion. (Little back story, when both…read moremy husband and I were younger we absolutely dreaded family portraits as it always ended in yelling and tears by the time we got there from stress, so naturally we thought that was normal of both of our families experienced that) fast forward today. We now gave a 3 month old and really wanted to capture this time as a family. Being incredibly reluctant because of our experiences growing up and now having a newborn, we decided to go for it but were prepared for the worst, as you never know what could go wrong with a newborn and pictures. During our photoshoot our sweet baby girl decided it was a good idea to blow up her diaper so we had to stop everything to change her. Then she decided she was hungry and needed to be fed and then naturally she began to spit up once we began our pictures again. Let me just say this would stress anyone out having to stop so many times in the middle of a photoshoot. BUT NO! THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL!!! They laughed with us, reassured us that it was totally fine and allowed us to take our time taking care of our daughter so we could have an amazing (tear free) experience!! Hands down an amazing company and Im truly SOOOO THANKFUL that they captured our little family of 3 for us! We will ABSOLUTELY use them again as they have taken all the fear and stress of family portraits away! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family! So happy we found them!
