After the consultation, the man told me the brace would be in in less than a week. I waited 4 weeks and nothing. Kept calling and leaving messages and finally got a call back. I went in and the brace they gave me was not what my podiatrist had asked for (she asked for a foot brace with gel supports). I got a canvas-like cheap brace that has stiff metal stays in it and the front seems literally push on/dig into the area the doctor wanted the brace to avoid. I wore it for 10 minutes and took it off because it immediately made the pain worse on the side of my foot. Then it takes 2 months to get the bill ($100 for what Amazon literally sells for $18.99) and it was dated 3 weeks ago but mailed 1 day before the due date. I will never go back, I could've saved money and just ordered the right one from Amazon myself.

Delatorre Orthotics and Prosthetics is where my husband gets his diabetic shoes. Under my health…read moreplan he is entitled to one new pair per calendar year along with inserts to see him through the year. Appts are required. When you go in it looks nothing more than a waiting room like you would find in a doctor's office. He is then taken to a back room. Once there his feet are measured and his walk is observed in order to determine the proper fit. The last few years he has gotten dress shoes so this year he opted for diabetic sneakers. In addition to those options he could choose from diabetic sandals or boots. We find the sneakers and dress shoes in his best interest to provide the protection he needs. Normally once ordered it takes about a week or two for the shoes to arrive. He is called back, refitted, and then given his shoes to take home. He has been exceptionally pleased with all his pairs. I'm not familiar with the prostetics but I am sure they provide quality and insurance plans are accepted. Located off Steubenville Pike it sits in a small complex on the road opposite the Getgo before heading to I-79 or McKees Rocks.

There is no judgement - just support and encouragement! I decided to go here because I wanted to go with a small business - not affiliated to a hospital - but also have had many family members and friends go here over the years who had successful results and loved this group too! From day one - they took the time to understand my injury and goals. Nick put together a plan that I could tolerate based on my existing restrictions but enables me to see progress over the weeks (the much needed light at the end of the tunnel I needed to start to see). You have to put the work in and you will see results. That includes what you do at the facility as well as what they recommend to do at home and trackable via an app.

If you have any kind of foot problem, this is *the* place to shop, because everything they carry is…read moredesigned to be healthy for feet, and supportive. If you're on your feet all day, this is also the place, although I don't know if they carry the steel-toed boots people in some occupations need. But if you work in a hospital, retail, restaurant, or similar, they carry dozens of beautiful and fashionable styles you will love. People who just love really comfortable shoes and sandals will also find a lot to love. What really stands out, though, is the customization they can do. That includes everything from heel lifts to platforms for those with one shorter leg to fully custom molded shoes. I would imagine they could do just about anything else one might need or just want, too, and they can also do just regular shoe repair, although that is clearly not their main niche. They will also make needed adjustments even to shoes or boots you have bought elsewhere, so steel-toed boot wearers, take heed. I had had to quit wearing my beloved Birkenstocks because although I love the support of their footbed, arthritis in my feet was making the amount of depth too painful. Mark (the lovely and really helpful owner) suggested inserting a thin pad between the insole and the cork main body of the sandal. That totally solved the problem and gave me plenty of cushioning while still leaving my feet fully and securely supported as only a Birkenstock can do. Years later, they are still perfect, and my feet have never hurt again in them. The showroom is big, spacious, bright, and sunny thanks to multiple large windows. The store is also fully wheelchair accessible - yay! And great bonus - they have parking behind the store! They are also right on a couple of major bus lines, so they should be reachable from almost anywhere for people who don't drive. It can get really busy, and with the customization they often do and the extra attention that requires, and AFAIK, only one or two people working, there can be a bit of a wait for your turn, so just leave plenty of time for your visit, especially if you know you will need any sort of modification. Great store, great location, great selection, and great people and service. What's not to love, for anyone who loves really comfy shoes?

I couldn't walk my first appointment and by the end of an hour session of him working on my muscles, I could walk very slowly. By the the end of two weeks I was fine. I am 23, did every exercise, and went to him the day it happened-so all those factors play a part as well. A normal appointment was an hour or more of tests and stretches, where I received tons of personal attention. Now i'm part of the Dr. Steve program where for $10 a month, you can go back and use the gym as often as you want with the help of the aids. I try to go every other day or at least 3 times a week and am stronger and happier. At the gym I think I was doing exercises that were hurting my body or irrelevant to what i needed. I feel so much more in control of my body and my life, totally worth it. I know if I get injured in the future, how I can heal myself.

My sciatic pain was so intense and after attending a few session at a UPMC facility I felt no relief. I was very skeptical about going to another PT Clinic. A good friend talked me into going to Dr. Eric at this clinic. She promised me great results if I followed his program. My start date was February 25, 2021. It has been a little less than a month and I feel great. Dr. Eric Stiglmeier is a true "Miracle Worker."Another issue occurred after a fall of of my horse 6 months ago.
