There was a sign saying they had moved to Lissner St. Parking is a bit of a problem since there is only 30-min street parking available so if there are a lot of people waiting, you might have to move your car at some point. After entering, I went up to the podium and told the person on duty what services I needed and she gave me an appropriate ticket. When my ticket number was called, it took all of 10 mins to get everything done. My experience here was easy peasy, but I've heard that it often can be a long wait. It just depends on how busy the day of your visit is.

Usually I pay for 12 months ($6514.20), this time I would like to pay for 3 months but I am told I can not do this as I should have set up a Direct Debit 25 days ago with the department of Main Roads and Transport. The changes were made "legal" on the 5th of September, so I will have to pay for 6 months, so where is the equal playing field with Uber. Thats a lot of fares to recoup $3269.90, 3-4 weeks work for nothing.

They almost ruined my brothers life by lying on their police report with a false claim of resist/assault police after being he was a Passenger in a car crash. They literally lied on a sworn statement to the court, just to try and screw him over. How scummy can you get? All for simply not wanting to answer just One question without legal representation. Cost over $2,000 to get the entire case dismissed, which is was because the whole thing was nonsense.. But very easily could have ruined his future in the medical profession.. For what? Not answering just a single question without legal advice present? It's little wonder you police are All so very Hated.. You do it to yourselves.. And you all deserve to be hated, individually..

Now I'm not touting this as entertainment as the cases you see are often of a very serious nature, but if you have any interest in the workings of the law or functioning of society, go along. Not all cases are open to the public, but all you have to do is go up to the front desk when you first walk in and find out what's on. It's a bit hit and miss--some days it might be all really boring stuff, but on other days you could get lucky and wander in on a murder case. Be mindful that the general atmosphere there is quite somber and there are a few rules of etiquette to observe. Firstly, dress respectfully. Try to wear a decent pair of shoes and modest clothing. Secondly, you may enter a court room at any time, but you must nod/bow to the judge upon entering and make your way quietly and directly to a seat. Thirdly, make sure your mobile phone is on silent! Lastly, be mindful when leaving the courtroom that you don't go talking loudly about the case as you don't know who might be within ear shot, eg. Friends or relatives of someone involved. I think this is something that everyone should do at least once, a) because it's interesting and b) it's good to know how these things work, as it's not quite how it looks in the movies!

I remember my Grandfather telling me that when he arrived in Brisbane around 60 years ago this was…read morethe tallest building in the city...which as a kid and even now amazed me as almost all of the giant structures in its vicinity dwarf it considerably. Its one of those buildings that you just have to check out if you get the chance as there aren't too many of them left. Buildings like City Hall offer us a beautiful look into this city's past, showing us the architecture of the time and how far we have come, allowing us to imagine how things were when our parents or grandparents saw them with their own eyes. I was fortunate enough to take a good look around the inside of this place before they started the restoration/renovations a few years ago and I remember telling myself 'wow, this is breathtaking, I want to live here, move out council officials I'm moving in!' - Unfortunately that didn't happen...but my attempts at staying there for an extended period one day went quite well until my friends and I were kicked out...No I am not a squatter although I suppose you could label what we were doing as that...We had decided one day to get into the lift, take it to the top of the clock tower and see how long we could stay up there without being asked to leave. You see the view from up there although obstructed by the architectural monstrosities of today is still worth the trip. I hope they will allow the public to go up into the tower once more as last I heard they restricted access long ago (maybe the restorations will change that). I cant wait to see what they have done with the place!
