Pretty good place to bring your stuff. Met the owner and even went as far as showing me proudly his newly acquired machines.

I've encountered this women several times & she is rude & never attends to her clients. I've always approached her kindly. She's ALWAYS talking to this man while on the job. I never see her cleaning the laundromat. This night specifically the washing machine that I used smelled horrible & it stunk my clothes up. She ruined my experience here. Hope her boss speaks to her about this situation.

On my visit to the laundromat, I went inside to see if the machines accepted dollar bills. An…read moreemployee named Cecilia approached me and asked if I needed help and whether I would be washing and drying my clothes. I explained that I was only there to dry my clothes. Cecilia informed me that I could not use the dryers unless I had also washed my clothes at the laundromat. I told her this was the first time I had ever heard of such a policy, as I have been coming to this laundromat for years and have always been able to use the dryers without washing my clothes there first. I explained that I was simply confused and wanted to understand the policy. She responded that she was only an employee and was informing customers of the policy. I then politely asked where this policy was posted within the facility so that I could review it for myself. Instead of answering my question, Cecilia became confrontational and began making personal remarks. She told me that I was "a very negative person" and said that I looked like "the type of girl who likes to fight." These comments were unprofessional and completely unrelated to my question. At no point was I being aggressive; I was simply asking where the policy was posted. I tried to explain that I was not trying to be rude and that I had never encountered this policy before. However, Cecilia repeatedly interrupted me, talked over me, and would not allow me to finish speaking. Her behavior was disrespectful and discourteous. At that point, I told her that I no longer wished to speak with her and instead wanted to speak with the manager or owner. I asked for the manager's or owner's contact information, but Cecilia refused to provide it. She told me that another employee who would be arriving later could give it to me instead. Because the conversation was going nowhere and she continued arguing with me, I walked away. I contacted the manager, explained what had occurred, and he acknowledged that Cecilia had handled the situation improperly and that she was in the wrong.

The process gave me a bad feeling from the start, which I attributed to the fact that I've never…read morebeen to a dry cleaner before. The top part of my wedding dress is decorated with sequins, so instead of washing it I was advised to take it to a dry cleaner before storing it away. I came to this location because it's so close to home, and I was seduced by its advertised promise of same-day service. When I left my dress on Monday, the guy told me it would be ready on Wednesday. Though I wasn't rushed, I was expecting it would be ready on the same day because that's what they advertise. He said, "Well, I COULD do it for today, but the quality won't be the same." Okay, then why advertise it? Again, as I wasn't rushed, I didn't mind waiting so I kindly told him that's not a problem. I called them on Tuesday to ask at what time it will be ready on Wednesday; the guy said 12, then apologized because he was actually going to have it ready by Tuesday. Oh! I had no idea. I thought their strategy was to give a time that's later than the actual time it'll be ready, so that by the time you show up it's already good to go (at least that would be MY strategy). On Wednesday morning I fancied the dress would be actually ready by 8 or 9, and even considered calling that early to ask if I could go now. However, I respected the fact that I had already agreed to a time, so I showed up at 12:15 to give them even extra leeway. Well, my assumption was wrong-- it WASN'T ready. They seemed surprised by my presence and they told me 15 more minutes. "We said 12:30," the lady told me. I replied to her that when I called they told me 12, but that no problem, I'll wait. What seemed strange is that they guy and lady were at the front, and he didn't go to the back to finish it until I showed up. Did he not remember the time he had said? At 12:35, the dress is finally ready. If he had told me from the start, "Wednesday at 12:40," I would've been happy with the service. However, all this hesitation and time changes really struck me as excessive and disorganized, especially considering that: 1) he had told me he COULD rush it and have it ready on the same day (but that would sacrifice the work quality) and 2) apologized for not having it ready on Tuesday (which I had no idea was his personal plan), but that it would be ready Wednesday at 12. Maybe I took their time too literally. On any other week I would've just showed up in the evening, but who knows if it would've been ready by then without the earlier pressure of my presence? Not sure if I'd come back. Again, I've never been to a dry cleaner before, and I probably won't go back to one in a long time; however, when I do, I will give another place a try. Maybe it's just an idiosyncrasy exclusive to dry cleaners, which I can't know because I have nothing to compare it to. Well, at least they got the job done and did it well. It could've been so much worse. Like the customer they had on the phone while I waited... it sounded like they ruined his coat, and she was telling him that it's the customer's responsibility to check that the clothing item can be dry cleaned. Uh oh! I didn't check. I was incredibly nervous, wondering if MY dress was also ruined because I didn't check, expecting that if anything COULD turn out wrong they would tell me. But no! Thankfully it wasn't the case with me. Phew!
