One thing that made me feel good about leaving him with the daycare is the teacher immediately got to eye level and spoke to him. She took time to introduce herself to us. And when we were leaving I saw her guide my child to the group of kids and sit with him. Patting him on the back and reassuring him so that he was comfortable. You can't fake compassion and this did it for me. I can tell he likes the teachers so far as he didn't burst out crying when I arrived. Kids have a way of communicating what they need for you to know and I know the signs to look for. I can't wait to see how his day was today. I love the fact that A Place to Grow incorporates crafts for the 2s and unders as well! I love a cute craft even if it's just scribbles. One of the biggest pluses is that they do not force my child to nap. They provide the opportunity and calm time and if my child decides not to nap there is a separate play area with other children. They are also super affordable! All good things said, if you are looking for a daycare facility that sends constant updates via an app and provides you a video feed - this place is not for you.
