This is my second review of Unify Tattoo. I went about a month ago, and posted a very negative review. Today, I went back to Unify, and the owner, Bart, attempted to fix what the original artist had botched. The original tattoo had been so awful, that even trying to overlay the original signature he was unable to exactly duplicate the original signature. Bart was fantastic, taking the time to listen to my concerns and offering several solutions. I opted to have him replicate the signature to the best of his abilities. I will highly recommend Bart, but as far as the rest of the shop, if Bart is out of town, the overall ambiance of the shop is completely different and unwelcoming. read more

This place is awesome. My friend (who has a ton of tattoos) and I (who have only 2) both had really good experiences here. When we first went to make our appointment we were greeted and felt very welcomed. It was great to chat with someone about our ideas. Then we scheduled for 2 days later. You have to put down a cash deposit to schedule your tattoo, but they have an ATM if you're like me and don't carry cash often. The decor in the tattoo parlor is really cool, nautical themed. The place is super clean. I was actually sitting on the floor playing Chinese checkers with a friend waiting for my friend to get her tat done--that kind of clean. Skyler did both our tattoos and we were both so pleased. His line work is amazing and he is so professional. I was kind of nervous (I hadn't had a tattoo in 10 years) but he was so calming and patient. He made me want to get a lot more! I couldn't be happier with this place. I will definitely be back (and telling everyone that I know to try this place out!) read more

To start off UNIFY TATTOO has one of the cleanest, largest and welcoming shops I've seen in a long time. And I've been in several trying to find the right shop for me. When I walked into unify I knew this was the shop for me. Several different artists for different styles. So you have to find the one for you and they will definitely help you out with that. Like most tattoo parlors it's by appointment only. But I was craving Ink and booked an appointment right away. My tattoo artist Sheisler helped me design the perfect tattoo by incorporating several different aspects into one amazing tattoo at an amazing price. He was gentle and his line work was clean. Even in the finer details he nailed it. I will definitely be back to this parlor and choose him as my goto artist. read more

Went for my consultation with Skyler last week and found the shop to be incredibly clean and open, some shops have these made up closets where they make you go and it's kind of creepy, not this shop, it's all in the open! They even have a kind of bar where you can sit and watch while someone is getting a tattoo, very cool! How cool would be if you get a beer at the bar! I found everyone in the shop to be very kind, informative, and professional. Skyler took the time to help me with my tattoo and offer cool ideas on my thoughts. Booked an appointment to get a sleeve finished with Angel (started by another artist). I asked multiple times if he was comfortable finishing it and he assured me he was. The day of my first session came around and to start it off Angel was 40 minutes late and no one had even set his booth up for him so we were scheduled to start at 12 and actually started at almost 1. His attitude while doing my tattoo was extremely irritable and unfriendly to say the least. He took an extended break during our session and came back in smelling like straight marijua@, which I could care less about in a different setting but during my tattoo is insane. For the last 2 hours of our session he had me sitting straight up with my arm twisted working on the back of my forearm. Not sure why he didn't have me lay down like any other normal tattoo artist considering it was clearly an uncomfortable position but i didn't want to complain. Several times I had to stretch due to the pain it caused in my shoulder. Apparently me stretching was seen to him as me moving too much so he ended our session 2 hours earlier than the scheduled 6 hours we had originally agreed upon. Furthermore, he completely ignore my allergen to lidocaine (assume he didn't read or have someone translate my medical form to him) and sprayed my tattoo with batting and lidocaine. I was also still charged for a 4 hour session ( overcharged at that, $200 an hour for his caliber work is ridiculous) even though he was late, took an extended break, and abruptly stopped tattooing me early. Lastly, he completely overworked my wrist (as stated by other artists I've talked with) and now I have permanent scarring. Highly recommend going with a different artist who knows what customer service is. Would give zero stars if able. read more

10/10 place, super friendly staff and managed to squeeze me and my girlfriend in as walk-ins even when it was busy. Shane did some stellar work. Definitely the cleanest tattoo shop I've seen and loved the bar side styled sitting and decor. Had two intoxicated individuals come in to try and get pierced but were denied due to the intoxication, They then threatened to leave a bad review but the staff handled the situation very respectfully and appropriately. Even after one of the intoxicated individuals fell outside while leavening, one of the staff members checked on them to make sure they were okay and if they needed help. Really great people working here. read more

Bart is an exceptional artist. My mom wanted to cover up a tattoo that she wasn't happy with. She wanted something that would honor her family background but also have a couple of other things that were very important to her. Bart asked plenty of questions to make sure he understood what he was looking for. We didn't really know what to expect, but when he showed us the drawing we were amazed. I will say this place was very clean&the greeter at the door was extremely pleasant also my artist I worked with was lovely& patient. Although, there was this one artist or perhaps he was the owner ,I don't honestly know who this guy was but he was rude&completely unwelcoming. Bart I believe his name was. My artist and I agreed on a price got the work done and this bart fellow proceeded to check us out. I told him the price we agreed on and this guy tells me 50$ extra as he states the minimum was 200$. I don't know any shop who has this rule- sure 50$,maybe 100$... make a sign. Tell people this. I have most of my body cover in ink and I've never faced this issue and to be met with such a rude individual. Nope, won't be back. I'll just continue to drive down to All Saints in Daytona.
