She started a sleeve for me, got halfway through it and decided to stop because it was something that she didn't want to pursue any further. The first incident with her started with my wifes tattoo. She waited 5 months to get her tattoo. 2 hours before her appointment Brea texted her and said she needed to change the appointment because there was a reptile show that she needed to go to to get food for her snakes. My wife had to switch up the appointment for a week later to suit her needs. Then, My appointment was a week after my wives. She cancelled my appointment after wating 5 months because she decided to go on a trip to Florida. I said, Ok whatever,. She reschedule me for December 31 which was New Years night. When she made the appointment I said to her.......Do you realize this is new years eve are you sure you're OK with that? She said yes, that's fine 2 hours before my appointment she texted me and said she was very sick and needed to cancel my appointment. Later that night,(New Years Eve) she was posting pictures of her on instagram out drinking. She was so sick she couldn't tattoo me but she was fine to go out drinking that same night on New Years Eve. She ended up tatooing me a few weeks later. The next incident, I sent her images 2 weeks prior to my appoinment of the tattoo I wanted. A day before my appointment she said send me picture of you tattoo that I'm covering up. This was NEVER supposed to be a cover up tattoo. I responded by saying......I dont understand what going on. Why do you need pictures of my arm that you are covering up? The next day, I went in for my appointment. I drove an hour to get there. When I got there they told me that Brea cancelled my appointment because my sleeve was something that she no longer wanted to pursue. I emailed Rapture the next day and said there was a big misunderstanding. I told them that I wanted to reschedule my appointment and they NEVER responded back to me. They might do good work but when it comes to their customer support they are horrible! I can not recommend this place. Especially , the very poor service of Brea Beashore

I'd been wanting to get some tattoo work done for a while, but finding a new shop had never quite made it to the top of my to-do list. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to check one out! The grand reopening event was fantastic. The shop was packed with energy, all of the artists were there meeting people, and they had plenty of giveaways--including some really cool Viking Armor swag. It was a great way to get a feel for the shop's personality and the artists' styles before committing to an appointment. While I was there, I spent some time chatting with Emilee, the newest artist at the shop. After looking through portfolios and talking through ideas, I ended up booking an appointment with her a few weeks later for a cover-up of a tattoo I got in my younger days. (Turns out a Chinese symbol tattoo didn't age quite as gracefully as I imagined it would LOL!) One thing that stood out to me from the beginning was how welcoming everyone was. The shop was clean, professional, and comfortable, with plenty of parking right outside the front door. The artists' portfolios demonstrated some serious talent, and the pricing felt fair and reasonable for the quality of work being produced. Fast forward a few weeks and it was appointment day. When I arrived, Emilee was ready to go. She had already drawn up the design we had discussed and was incredibly accommodating when I requested a few small additions and adjustments on the fly. She listened carefully, made thoughtful suggestions, and never made me feel rushed. Throughout the appointment, Emilee was warm, friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about her craft. She took her time, paid attention to the details, and made sure I was happy with everything before moving forward. The end result was exactly what I was hoping for, and the entire experience--from the grand reopening event through the completed tattoo--was a positive one! If you're looking for a clean, welcoming shop with talented artists who genuinely care about their clients and their work, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Viking Armor Tattoo. Based on my experiences so far, I wouldn't hesitate to return for future work!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this shop and, unfortunately, would not recommend…read morethem for piercings. I originally went here in February, over 6 months ago, to get a helix piercing. I was told to wait 8 weeks before coming back to have the jewelry's post/peg downsized, which I did. I followed the aftercare instructions and have spent over $100 and more than 6 months trying to properly heal and maintain this piercing. I came back today because the backing of my piercing fell out this morning. When they looked at my ear, they told me it was swollen and that a bump was forming on the back. They then asked who originally did my piercing. When I told them, they said that person no longer works there. The way this was communicated made it seem as though there may have been an issue with how my piercing was originally done, but they did not actually explain what was wrong, what may have caused the swelling or bump, or what I should have done differently. Instead, I was essentially told to take the piercing out and consider it a loss. After investing over $100 and more than six months into this piercing, I found that response extremely frustrating and disappointing. What made the experience even worse was when I tried to remove the jewelry myself and was having difficulty because it was painful. I said I was struggling, and the employee told me that if I wanted his help, it would cost at least $20. I understand that businesses charge for services, but given that this was a piercing I originally received at their shop and I was there because I was having a complication with it, I expected at least some basic guidance or assistance. Ultimately, I was told there was nothing they could do for me and that I should take it out. There was no meaningful explanation, troubleshooting, or discussion of what might have happened or how to properly care for the area afterward. I was then told that I should wait another 6 months and come back to have it re-pierced if I still wanted a piercing in that area. So after spending over $100, following their instructions, waiting more than 6 months, and dealing with the entire healing process, I'm now being told to remove it, wait another 6 months, and potentially start the entire process over again. I understand that piercings can sometimes develop bumps or complications and that healing is not always predictable. My issue is how the situation was handled. After spending the money and following the process for more than six months, I expected much better communication, professionalism, and customer service. I left feeling dismissed rather than helped. If a piercing done at your shop develops an issue, I would expect your staff to at least explain what is happening, answer questions, and provide reasonable guidance rather than simply telling the customer to remove it and move on.
