The sales are always well organized, and there is enough staff to assist. The prices are very fair, not cheap, but appropriate. Go on a Sunday, and everything is usually 50%. My husband and I seek their sales out. I have recently bought a lot of essential household items for my son, who just moved into his first home by himself. :) I feel they handle the items/property respectfully, while still keeping their clients best interest in mind. Defiantly one of our favorite estate sale destinations!

Calling Heather at River City was a total game changer. After meeting with her she quickly developed a game plan and a very large estate was cleared within a few weeks. Heather is respectful, caring, communicative, honest and flexible, just super easy to work with. She is also resourceful and has lots of contacts and connections. This helped get buyers to the sale and also made the clean out process efficient and easy. I'm guessing they have a "not sold" contingency that helps the bottom line. Don't bother, unless you're willing to pay Chairish.com prices at an estate sale. The items I wanted, I was sure, couldn't really be $6 each for a placemat. Additionally they weren't intact, but were unique. I decided, if that was the case, at half off it's about what I might pay at a normal estate sale. I asked the person taking money in the garage if $6 was the price per mat even with flaws. She discounted to $5 then half off which still falls above your previous claim. It was eye opening to see the level of price gouging. I had been told "Burns is the most expensive in town, which is why they get the high-end (greediest) clients" So, say what you want, I came, I saw, I reported. Looks to me like you are trying to rationalize something away that you know to be true. I repeat, I won't be back and I would discourage anyone else from attending your sales. Good luck to you.

His wife Diana was also there before and during the sale, and they had other help to make us feel secure that everything would be done in time. It's sad you can't get anyone to work w/you even when you're willing to spend good money on everything else. I know there's at least one estate co out there that will work with you but most won't! I won't mention who they are. No need to divide. Kind message for this company we know you have to dispose of many items at the end, if someone is spending in good faith why not give them a tiny discount once in a while? Unless you have a store to fill. Idk if this is the case but it is food for thought.
