I purchased a Groupon about a year ago and after the pressure washer came, you couldn't tell a difference as even the window sills were still dirty. When I complained, the manager came over to check and said they used enough pressure and that they were not going to do it again. Oh well, I won't use them again. Yikes, just saw how bad the reviews are on here, not as bad (but should be) on Google. No showed for the schedule appointment that they set. Called numerous times the morning of (today 11/18/2021) and no answer or response. Hours after the missed appointment the phone finally answered and a very rude greeting with "who are you"....nice company there lol. Arguing back and forth about what time the appointment was...I think me the homeowner with one appointment would know, not to mention my Wife listening in the other room while I made the appointment. The reviews on here for unprofessionalism are definitely accurate. This entire mistake was made when I got a very unprofessional response (delayed as well) through Angi's website about their special. I was very disappointed with Under Pressure. I have pressure washed my house before and had much better results. (I wanted to try a company because it's not an easy job!) I paid about $200 to have my 2.5 story, 2200 sqft house as well as my detached garage and back porch pressure-washed. They did not bring a ladder, and the pressure washer they used did not have enough pressure to knock off any pollen/scum off my siding after about 10 feet in the air. Because of this, nothing was cleaned on floors 2 and 2.5 of my house. Wasps nests near the roof were left there. All windows on floors 2 and 2.5 of my house were still nasty and streaked from a tiny bit of bleach hitting them. They used straight bleach. I came home to see my plants wilting--many eventually died from being blasted with so much bleach. Do not use this company. read more

We had our home pressure washed 7/30, I was called back promptly and we scheduled quickly without much wait time. I was a bit concerned about the odor that seemed to linger after the service, but thought it would go away once everything dried. It took three days for the strong odor to fade and within a couple more day our tree turned yellow where the spray had hit it. We have brand new landscaping that I was concerned for as well. I called on 8/5 and left a message saying I had some concerns to ask about. No one called me back. It took another call to get a reply and John basically said nothing. He did make sure to tell me no one else had an issue with their trees, etc so there was no way it was their product. I see from another review in the same time frame that doesn't seem to be true. I sent pictures and the reply was basically the same. He did offer a possible discount on a future service, but if this is the service they provide I am not interested in using them again. I also don't want to cause any more damage to our plants. read more

Though reasonably priced, the service was just ok. They don't do windows at all. Having a red house with white columns I was happy that the cleaning solution they used was gentle enough to handle the red paint. But, it was a sloppy job, lots of webs left, and lots of yellow still lingered from the pollen. Also, the front of the columns were streaked with dirt from the second floor, so maybe he did not wash top to bottom and then check for dirt run off...we had to re-hose down the front of the house. read more

We have used UNDER PRESSURE for several year with no problem. We have a raised 2 story home (3 stories for pressure washing purposes). The operator used a standard short wand (not the 15-30' long wand used in the past). The water stream had very low pressure by the time is reached the windows and roof pack on the 3rd floor. Not sure it did much there. The chemical smell was the worst I have ever smelled. My neighbors had just had their house done by UNDER PRESSURE, and no smell like this. We were assured that the chemical would NOT hurt the many plants around the house and on our large porch. When complete, I inspected the work, and 2 of the garage doors were filthy (they were clean when the work started). The operator said this was mud dobbers nests that had washed out. I asked the operator to clean this, but she said she had already put her gear up and had to go to the next site, and SHE ASKED ME TO DO IT. I went and got a brush and a garden hose and asked her to do it, but she could not get most of it off. Now one (of 3) garage door has stains in it that were never there before. The wooden steps treads were so soaked with chemicals that my wife slid down and landed on her rear end twice, so we had to clean these by hand. After the operator left, we found that all of the electrical circuits in the garage were out (these feed several covered outside outlets on the porch). When we switched the breaker on, it popped back. We looked for problems, but had to call an electrician. He came and found 2 porch outlets that had been blasted full of water so they shorted and tripped the breaker repeatedly. He troubleshot and replaced these for $250. We still have 3 outlets in the garage that do not work, so we'll have to get him back (another $250) to fix these. All of the Lantanna, Crepe Myrtles and other plants and tree around the house began to defoliate immediately. Now, most are complete leafless and dead. MY wife has called and explained all of this to them and they said they would have someone come out. After 2 weeks, no one has shown up. So far, we are out about $1,500 in plants and repairs so far (plus the $250 pressure washing) and the figure is rising. If we do not hear from UNDER PRESSURE this week, we will have to reverse the credit card charge and go to small claims court for the repairs and plant replacement costs. read more

This was my first experience with Under Pressure. After the first cleaning, my siding was streaked. They happily agreed to come out and fix the problem and my siding looks great after the second cleaning. However, I was disappointed with the concrete cleaning and when I asked for a partial refund, Dan was sarcastic. (He left muddy footprints on my back porch and red mud on my front porch.) If you want to be told "there is nothing more we can do," then this is the company for you. If you want your house cleaned with bleach, then this company if for you. read more

we basically paid these guys $500 to kill more than $500 worth of our landscape shrubs & potted topiaries. they murdered a considerable amount of our greenery with some heavy (straight?) bleach solution & have done nothing to rectify the situation. the manager changes his attitude every time we've spoken, so given the before and after pics and initial voicemails of admission and offers to replace the plants that perished, i'd rather just hash it out in small claims court than continue hounding him to do the right thing. save your plants and a lot of heartache & find another company!! read more

So, I nervously decided to Pressure Wash my home & after quite some research decided to go with these guys. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment as they are so busy (April & May) are the busiest times. Finally, the day arrived, I got Dan who was training a guy. They did a great job. I was so nervous that they would strip my paint or bleach the color on the house. They did neither. I was very happy with the service & very happy with the price. They did my 2600 sq ft house for $209, two porches & the house itself. They educated me to the importance of pressure washing in the Charleston area as I am a new comer to this climate. They have a new repeat customer & I will be recommending them to others. I am very happy with the job they did. They were very professional, helpful & courteous. My house looks great. read more

Disappointing experience. They did well when we used them last year. However This year they came when I wasn't home and left the house a mess: burned all the flowers, broke a landscape light, stripped my deck of stain, busted out a screen on my porch. Worst off gave no notice of these complications and when called was given a response of "thank you for this information". I must preface this with I have satisfactorily used this company many times with different rental properties. This time I used it with my own home. I do not have a two story but rather a 1.5. The Groupon I purchased was for a 1 or 2 story house. In the past it has always been a 1 story. I would NEVER use them on a two story again. The young man stood on the ground, sans ladder and sprayed. My roof now has a clean streak from the Clorox spray but little or no pressure ever made it to the vinyl windows which is all he had to do. I left before he was finished so I got what I deserved. Ranch work is good but don't use for anything above that. read more

I should have become concerned when there was never anyone in the "office" and an answering machine that says they are very busy with calls and will return my call within 24 hours. That should have told me they probably work with a cellphone as an office despite their fancy website. Our house was washed on this past Thursday. All seemed ok when the girl left, but the next morning after the house had dried, the streaks appeared on virtually all sides of the house. The house now looks worse than before it was "cleaned". Rinsing the house with a garden hose results in a very noticeable smell of bleach. Obviously their approach to cleaning is low to moderate pressure and a lot of bleach. However, they failed to spray with water as a rinse cycle. A call the next day to Under Pressure in the afternoon resulted in the same answering machine and the same lame excuse about being to busy to answer or return my call for at least 24 hours. Since that next day would be the weekend, I'm led to believe my 24 hours will begin on Monday. Although, I doubt I will hear from Under Pressure again. Sadly, I have to shoulder some blame. In past years, I have used Pressure Wash King with great results and at similar prices. But I was mesmerized by the nice blue "wrapped" trucks and the family photo on the Under Pressure website...and at 71 I should know better. This company permanently damaged my custom home's 5 year old, 2400 square foot driveway in Mt Pleasant with long lines of etchings from too much pressure...and many deep circles from leaving their circular surface cleaner running in place. Why didn't they notice damage occurring while underway and stop? Their follow up visit with stain remover to wash away deep gouges could never have worked, but they say they tried everything. Despite claiming to be bonded, (are they really?) they will not let me file a claim to repair the damage. They blame the concrete (without testing it or sending an expert). I've been dealing with their owner, Eric and have no resolution. Don't let their website fool you. UnderPressureSC's washing expertise is in 'washing their hands' of damage they cause. We've used under pressure in the past - normally with a groupon but I can't believe how terrible Travis did on our home today! Not only did he use straight up bleach on our home but he completely left a wasp nest on the front porch - easily noticed so he obviously was in a big hurry to get his extra money and get out! We've used Under Pressure for a number of years and are always delighted. We continued to use them when we moved to a new house, and we've recommended them to our neighbors who were also happy with them. This year (early April 2017) Dan was the tech who cleaned our house. Not only did he do a fantastic job -- the house seriously always looks like new afterward -- from top to bottom, but we had asked him to do something extra and tell us how much it would cost so we could pay for it on top of the (reasonable) fee for pressure-washing the house.
