She takes the time to understand what you need and works very efficiently. She also shows up on time and her prices are very reasonable when compared to others who provide a similar service. I will definitely call her again when I decide to use an organizer for other rooms in our house, and I highly recommend this service!

When my mother passed away, Denise was a lifesaver in helping me to deal with her household. She…read morewas calm, while I was not, and her gentle humor helped at a difficult time. She helped me to sort through decades of possessions, furnishings, clothing and keepsakes, and assisted me in deciding what to keep, what to donate, and what to toss. She even managed to sell some items. She helped me find a mover (I live out of state) and after I had to return home, she kept packing and hauling and transporting. She was completely trustworthy, and provided documentation of everything she did. Hiring this company was the best decision I've made in a long time. Without Denise's help, this project would have taken me years. If you're thinking about hiring this company, just do it! You won't be sorry.

Tori is AMAZING. Full stop…read more My husband, 3-year-old and I had the opportunity to purchase one of my family's homes in my hometown of DC and things came about quickly and with lots of anxiety. Luckily, I found Tori and, even on the initial estimate walkthrough, she was immediately calming, and so "you-got-this!" that we really felt like we did. Once we hired Tori, she came in like a well-organized storm and got us into a groove that even felt good to a feverish sickie like me (I had a bad cold which was kicking my butt); she recommended and coordinated a phenomenal experience with a great moving company, got us packed (with the exception of the art and record collection, which we left for the movers) within 3 sessions - while entertaining and including our rambunctious 3-year-old, taught us very doable future organizing tools for the new place and was a genuine blast to be around. And when we initially thought we'd be unpacking as soon as we arrived - instead of getting renovations done first as we settled on doing - she offered to put us in touch with a DC-based organizer or to come down and help us herself. Tori is a cut above the rest in professionalism, efficiency, resourcefulness and just general goodness. For such a quick move, we had an excellent experience from start to finish, and that is entirely thanks to Tori.

Tori is truly fantastic!…read more We were feeling unhappy in our 1 bedroom apartment, and rather than inflating our lifestyle and getting a bigger place (or leaving NYC!), we decided to give Tori a try. Yes, techincally you can just dig in and declutter yourself, but when you engage Tori you get several benefits: 1) You carve out a designated time to do this activity 2) Because you're investing in it, you take it very seriouslyi 3) You're saving all the "trial and error" you'd normally get when trying to DIY, which can waste your time and money (if buying mutliple "organization solutions") 4) You get very pro advice! 5) You wouldn't be researching an organizer if you would've done it yourself! Regarding #3: Just having Tori show up and say "do this, change that, get rid of this, and implement these systems" accomplished a home transformation for us in 4 hours. If I tried to do that on my own time, it would've taken 25+ hours, or never have been done properly. I'm so grateful for the time we had with Tori, and I fell in love with our apartment all over again.

2 weeks ago cleaning in action was hired to do a deep clean on a home we were moving into for $500…read more The home was completely empty & we needed it deep cleaned (floors swept, counters wiped, etc) because i was flying across the country with my infant to move into the home & we felt it was a good investment to make sure the baby had somewhere clean to arrive. Upon my arrival i was appalled - i actually had to contact the friend who let them in to ask "when are they coming"? Because there was zero indication anyone had been there besides a dirty toilet brush left in the master bathroom toilet & someone broke our front door from the inside (not blaming them just noting it happened & they were there alone) I have tried for 2 weeks to reach Maria whom never answers the phone but communicated only thru my friend (who regularly hires them & recommended them to begin with). I have been more than kind in my messages however have received ZERO return calls or response from her or anyone on behalf of the company- my friend was told "it's an old house so it's dirty"- well no shit why do you think i hired you to clean it!!! We paid $500 for a deep clean- our counters were not wiped, our floors were not even swept, our sinks were not cleaned, there was a thick layer of dust on every surface, the mirrors were filthy & covered in dust & spots, the carpets were covered in debris... now i understand it's a big house/ old house- but There is no way if i just WIPE a counter & the paper towel is BLACK that they did anything! I've tried repeatedly for 2 weeks to get in contact with Maria & hopefully discuss the situation & come to a resolution - hoping this was just a bad representation of what their company is capable of, but i haven't even been given that opportunity. We were clearly scammed (look at these photos & tell me that is clean) all i can do now since they don't seem to want to make it right with us, is let the world know so hopefully you all don't get scammed by this company too

While that may have been true, I knew I was paying someone to come over and provide me with solutions to effectively and efficiently organize my unpacked world. We spent about 3, 4 hour sessions unpacking, organizing and by the time we came to the final day, Jade had a good sense of how I functioned. Beyond all of this, Jade truly made me feel comfortable. I've always considered my hoarding tendencies, but never really addressed them. In all honesty, opening up in that way can be very intimate and vulnerable. Jade challenged me to consider the utility of some items and the memory of others - supporting me through each decision. I wish I had before and after photos, because dang! It makes my house so much more comfortable to be in - everything has a place.

I received a.it's of vendors who have been vetted by Steffanie and a typed report or every comment she'd made throughout our walkthrough. at this point I could take on everything from that point forward or contact TidySmart for help in deciding what to move with us (and pack), what to donate or put in an estate sale, or throw out. we used TidySmart staff to declutter and pack, and what a godsend!! The women were so personable and went right to work, doing exactly what I needed. Our house sold within 2 days, thanks to Steffanie's staging, the decluttering, and n the moving contact. The mover packed up and moved what we were taking to their storage. Then the estate sale folks came in, organized, evaluated every thing we had left, took care of the sale and the clean-up. Our house is. ow ready for the new owners. TidySmart made this entire stressful time much easier for us--we're 64 and 66. So glad we found her. Thanks, Steffanie!!

Blair and her team are amazing!…read more I use Mother Bee's cleaning services once every few months to spruce up my apartment and do a deep clean when I am having people over. She never disappoints! The cleaning is always very detailed, and never misses a spot. They go above and beyond to wash my bedsheets and towels as well and are always there to listen when I give directions on how I like certain items cleaned such as my fridge, oven, etc and what type of cleaning products I prefer too. They gladly follow details that I give for navigating and cleaning my living space with respect and courtesy which I love. Blair's punctuality is great and I have never had an issue scheduling appointments more than a week out. Highly recommend as Mother Bee's will be the only cleaning service I use in the area due to their professionalism, attention to detail, and overall quality of service.
