The staff are incredibly chill, knowledgeable, and somehow manage to keep the line moving at lightning speeds. It's like a weed version of an airport terminal that actually functions. The prices are reasonable, and the product selection overwhelming in the best way possible. This place is by far the best dispensary in downtown Seattle. They have a wide variety of products, and the staff goes above, and beyond to ensure that you are tended to. There is very limited street parking near this place, so taking an Uber or plan on walking a little bit. Also, there were two ATM machines inside, however, bringing your own cash is necessary. The price is a good value for nearby competition, and they have a very wide selection of products. read more

Bad service. Noone seemed to care about their job. I put in a pre-order to pick up at the preorder counter. As I walk up the guy walks away. A girl apparently in training was standing there and knew I was there but purposely didn't say anything. I asked them if they could in the future tell the person in line "we will be with you in a moment as I was just standing there with no line for 10 minute. then as soon as I asked I got teamed up by 3 different people saying she is in training so I said if she is in training you should be training her how to interact with customers read more

I want to let you know I have been in retirement on Yelp and can honestly not remember the last time I was on Yelp to write a review and honestly if I wasn't the biggest fan of Uncle Ike's at the Lake City location I would have rated Patrick and "1". Yes sir, numeral uno. Let's get into why I am here in the first place. Today at 11:50 am my feelings were hurt because in-spite of what's going on in the world, today I decided to get up and go to a new location in Seattle as I am new and I had to re-up in my supply. I am new to Seattle, so I am still in tourist mode. I decided to visit the Capitol Hill location. I walked in and it was cute and very clean. I was greeted by good ole Patrick and he is actually a handsome man. That is neither here nor there, he greeted me and I told him that I was excited to visit this location and I am always happy to refill my supply so I can go home and enjoy in peace and quiet I proceed to ask him about the special they had for the day. It was Sunday and it was triple points on all purchases. So I started to read the specials from my phone and then I said wait why don't you tell me your specials. Now when I said that to him, I had a smile on my face and I actually wanted him to walk me through his store and tell me. I am very new to "nerding out " and I always learn something new when I visit the Uncle Ike's in Lake City. They are always pleasant and nice. If I arrive high at Lake City, I leave that way with a smile on my face. I spend an average of $100 to try something new. I am really disappointed that I was greeted by Patrick. He really f$cked up my high. I mean and my entire mood based on his response. He said let me ask you a question, "If I came to your job, would I expect you to know all the specials by heart", I need you to tell me what you like. I took a step back and said," Wow that was not cool", he kept going to validate his point and I just looked at him. I proceeded to tell him what I wanted and then he started to look at the current specials for the day. I didn't care at this point. I told him that this was my frost time at this store and I can't believe this is my experience. High gone and honestly if I didn't take the light rail, I would have took my business elsewhere. I really like Uncle Ike's and I am loyal. This experience was horrendous... he could have been new and didn't know his product like the other sales representatives. It could be he is mad that he has to work on Sundays or maybe he doesn't smoke but whatever it is, you are in the wrong business. The wrong business serving people that are seeking cool vibes and a chill space. I know that if I ever come to this location, I will wait an hour to be served by someone other than Patrick. Patrick it's nice to know you sleep good at night knowing that you deliver subpar service in a dispensary and your entire goal is to ruin someone's day because you don't know your business. To answer your question, yes if you came to my business, I would know my specials sir. Yes and guess what if you were my costumer I would tell you whatever you need to know. I wasn't rude to you and I had a smile until you were rude to me. I asked a couple more questions, and then proceeded to get my Royal Tree products and never did get anything on sale because Patrick turned me off. He attitude changed and he wanted to offers his feedback on certain products and the type of high I am seeking. Patrick you don't care. You were not worried about building a rapport with me, lol, you chose me to be a wise ass today. Of all people, unless you own this chain, you are ruining experiences for your owners store and ruining customer experiences. Actually I am very brand new to Seattle and when I tell you everyone has been nice. I haven't met one person that has treated me this way. I don't care how high you vibrate, there are people that you will experience that are just not good people. They can attempt to crush your vibrations. Patrick I am really cool person and if you just took a moment to remember your position and that you were there to help and serve. You did neither... Ok let's discuss on how we concluded the transaction. Patrick asked me for a bag and I said yes I would like one since I spent $124 and couldn't carry everything and I pulled out my own plastic bag. At this point my purchase is properly bagged. Patric fixes his face to ask me again do I still want a bag because I pulled out my own plastic bag and I had to answer again yes I would like a bag. No Patrick, please take out all of my products and place them on the counter so I can bag the items myself I would like someone from Uncle Ike's establishment to reach out to me as I would be happy to change my review and I would like a receipt from my previous transaction. read more

This is a review for Uncle Ike's, the story here at the beginning is to give this review more context. Thank you in advance for reading. This morning I made an online pre-order from a place called Shawn Kemp's Cannabis Dispensary Seattle. I had shopped at this location many times before, and had been a fairly regular customer as their proximity to where I lived made them very convenient. For more context, my driver's license had expired the end of last month, barely a week ago. The security person at Shawn Kemp's verified my ID, but then immediately mentioned that I was not allowed in the store with an expired driver's license. I had a webpage on my phone that shows that on the State level, ID isn't even a requirement for cannabis purchase, but that it can be on an individual Store level. After bringing up the webpage, I was told that I was flat out incorrect in what I was saying, even though I had the State of Washington dot gov page open. I asked for a supervisor to assist. He came and reinforced the position that I absolutely could not enter without the printed license renewal form of which I didn't have on my person. After several more minutes of back and forth, I was ordered to leave the store immediately. I asked before I left if my pre-order could be canceled, and he simply said: "Just go. Don't even worry about it." From this point, I had decided to go with my other option, Uncle Ike's on Olive Way. The only real reason I had stopped going here was because Kemp's was so much closer. The Olive Way location had been my go to place for months prior, and it is going to be my go to place once again. I forgot how fast and helpful the staff at the Olive Way location is. I almost never have to wait more than a few minutes to pick up a preorder there. They know who I am, and that level of customer service is something that perhaps Kemp's might care to adopt if they wished to care about catering to their local return customers as much as they seem to care about random tourist purchases? Just my perception, mind you. So to end, this is a Five star review for Uncle Ike's and the awesome level of service I got from both Sean B. and the security guard there at the time, who was super nice and showed me a webpage with more info the license renewal rules. I used to buy all my cannabis there. But since I've found somewhere with more stock and much cheaper prices I just can't shop Ikes. I wanted to buy a vape cartridge and wondered about price matching so I emailed Ikes asking about their policy. They match non-sale items from same brand. Fair enough. I was hoping to not have to take 2 buses. The 'problem' is my new, better store has 30% off everything in the store everyday except Friday when their prices drop to 40% off. Because it's called a sale everyday so Ikes won't match it. Someone is shrewd, and someone is greedy, it seems. Ikes will drop $5 to match the pre 30% cost of $20 that my new store charges (that's $14 instead of $25 on a straight comparison). But now I know why Ikes only need a few customers. They make more $ per customer!!! I'm going down to 4th Ave Sodo. I think I'm being fair in this review. I was quite frustrated and dissappointed when I learned about their price matching *exclusions. read more
