Really thankful to have found Cruz Roja while in Cancun. Originally our hotel, like many previous…read morereviews, sent us to Hospiten. We followed their guidance and that was a mistake. Over $400 USD for a consultation by a nurse for a few stitches. We were told it would be $2,500 USD minimum. We don't have that type of money. They informed us that we could leave after we've been discharged. After a very long wait and no one showed we finally convinced someone to let us pay the "consult" bill and leave. Then comes our saving grace Cruz Roja (Red Cross). It's a first come, first serve concept. You really need to know Spanish or have a translator for the billing/signing in. The doctor was very friendly and better transparent. It was rather refreshing. The pricing was upfront. The stitches were 480 MX (~$24 USD) and we were in and out under an hour. We were told of prescriptions to pick up at the pharmacy as well. Honestly, a major blessing. Fair warning - it's pesos or credit card only

And I also wanted to see about weight loss treatment, he never talked about or even referred me. I've heard there are good doctors and bad, I would not go to this one. So for ear drops I ended up spending $160 US CASH! Ugh..

This place is good, it does not look like a high end hospital, but the service is great. Here is what happened with US, a family member fell down and felt dizzy and was vomiting. The overpriced hotel (the Grand review coming later) sent us to Amerimed, which had bad reviews for being overpriced. I asked the cab driver to recommend me a good hospital and he took us to Victoria. 1) they saw us super fast, I was expecting the typical US hospital 3 hour way in the ER (it took 5 minutes). The doctor was VERY knowledgeable, I was very impressed, and had a diagnose quickly, but wanted to do a brain scan to rule out anything else. Here it is, I though - the expensive part. I consented to anything, in an emergency there is no time to be doing calculations...right? Amazingly, they had the results in like 15-20 minutes, honestly, I felt like nothing but I did not time it. The gave us the readings, suggested exercise and medicine. I'll attach the picture just so you see why te post before me thought it was $10k US. My bill was $5,793.55 - but it turn out being US$321.00 and $54.00 for the medicine, which had to be paid separately at the pharmacy. THIS PLACE IS GREAT, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT.

The first session was $9000MXN. Plus Dr consultation $1000 and another $1500 blood work- the second and third time it was $7000MXN... UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! She is a MEXICAN CITIZEN! The nurses are rude to others- treating them with disrespect ! We witnessed Magda the charge nurse be so rude to a patient that had forgot his medication. The office does not offer water in the lobby or restroom for family waiting there. We had used them before and the service was much better. Also, they charged my mom as a Mexican citizen before and now as a foreigner because her doctors documentation was in English. The doctor should do better!!!!! It is way out of range for the local people-STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE!!!

The cost of the surgery was 50 000 pesos plus I needed to pay for the blood bank. As I did not have all the money at once, I asked if the can receive me with 20 000 and in 3 days I will pay the rest. They refused. But more interesting was that I took a decision to go from Cancun to Merida, to Hospital Gerneral O'Horan. And there, after series of analysis and tests they gave me the different conclusion. And I did make a surgery, but minor and totally different. So be careful, this Cliinica is just trying to take your money out and they don't care about your health. And if somebody will need prooves, i still have all the papers ))
