No thanks. This was…read morethe first gym I found when I first moved to Hamburg. I went there to have a look and ask for prices. Since I'm staying here for just a few months I went to ask how we could organize it to make it affordable for such a short stay. In all the other gyms I've been at around the world (USA, Spain, Other cities in Germany), you either pay a bit more than the normal 12 month contract or you just do the normal contract but let them know a month or so in advance that you're leaving the city and then they break the contract. Not this time. If you're staying for less than a year, 90€ a month. No student discounts, no exceptions. Impressions: The gym was alright, nothing spectacular, it actually felt like it just had the basic and necessary, it looked alright but not good enough for 90€/month. My first impression when I walked in was an older fella completely dressed in Under Armour thinking he was strong acting like he had razorblades under his armpits. He was a normal guy and he had a pretty ridiculous attitude, he looked at me from feet to head, he said something to the guy in the office and then he walked away. Not my type of gym. Anyway, I found a better alternative closer to my house for half the price and I'm glad I didn't pay 90€/month for On-Stage..

I took an intro with Chris which turned out to be just me and him. He gave me a super bangin workout and I loved crossfit at first sight. The on-ramps were less personalized but I really really really recommend you take 1 or 2 or all 6 with Michael who is the owner here. (He is Canadian so he speaks English in class.) Super talented/nice/strong man with a phd in physical chemistry. Too bad I didn't stay in Hamburg long enough to continue with a membership after my on-ramp but I have mad respect for what the people do here and would return any time I go back to this city.
