Before his transformation!

Service has really took a turn for the worst. Kathy always took amazing care of our dog and had the BEST customer service. Ever since they hired new groomers you can not find a friendly face. We've had our maltipoo groomed here since he was a pup and we were all well aware that he could jump the gate as we left so he was to be placed in the kennel until after his bath. He would only do this because he saw us leaving and wanted to come with us. After his bath he could run around freely. I always asked Kathy how he behaved after his bath and she would say he's been great ever since she helped us get him neutered. She went above and Beyond with her friendly customer service. Last few times I've taken him she hasn't been there but I assumed he was still in good hands. When I picked him up the last few times and his hair looked all choppy I assumed they were new groomers but as long as he could see and smelt good I didn't mind. The last time, was much worse, his hair was choppy, he couldn't see, his tail was usually tapered down where is was curly and you could tell they brushed it out to blend in with the straight hair on his tail. I called them as soon as I got home and got a better look at him and asked if there was anything they could do. They said I could bring him in the next day before noon, so I did. I was very happy they were able to take care of that until I walked in and I was greeted by the EXTREMELY RUDE groomer who had taken care of him. She asked what the problem was and I explained his tail wasn't cut where it usually is and his eyes. She said "it has never been in the notes to cut his tail" as I watch the dog behind her get groomed with the same exact cut and they are cutting the curly part of the tail "I've never had to say it before since it's part of the teddy bear cut he always gets". After arguing for a bit she agrees to fix it. I ask her how long it will take since I have to get back to work and she says " you're not going to stay? You know he's really bad." My mind was blown. If I'm paying for a service for you to take care of my pet/child/etc. how dare you tell my dog is "bad". I have never had anyone say that to me before. He does not bite or misbehave and I know because I have always asked when I pick him up. Imagine paying for your child's daycare and the teacher doesn't do her job properly because they don't like your kid. IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO YOUR JOB THEN CHOOSE ANOTHER CAREER. Go to Red bluff pet resort they are much better.

Worst groomers I've been too thus far. On top wrongfully charging me many additional extra fees for fleas and medication when all my dogs have been treated and medicated appropriately and are indoor dogs, they also hurt and abused my dog today. Picked up both my dogs and when I got home was checking my dogs as one usually does after a grooming and noticed one of my dogs had trauma and blood dripping from his right eye. When I called and asked about what had happened they basically just denied anything occurred during the grooming process and the lady on the phone began gaslighting me over the phone saying if I decided to do anything that they had insurance so the cops or animal control won't do anything for me. I ended up going back to the groomers to get a better explanation and after being gaslit again in person I just left since they clearly weren't gonna take responsibility for anything let alone an apology. I had to take my dog to the pet hospital immediately where they prescribed me medication for his eye. All in all terrible place to bring an animal to get groomed and hopefully no other pets endure the pain and suffering they had to put up with today or ever.

Cut in ear

My experience with this place has to be the worst. I gave this place a try since it is close to my work but will never go again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I called to make an appt for Monday and they said they had a spot for a 2pm. They said that I could drop her off in the morning as early as 7am and pick her up as late as 6. I thought score, that is perfect as it would fit with my work schedule. I came to pick her up close to 5:30pm and they were just then working on her. She mentioned that my dog didn't like the clippers on her face and she seemed to be having a hard time with her. The groomer asked if I can come back in 30 min so I left and came back to find the two employees putting some type of medical glue on my dog's paws. She said my dog was moving around a lot so she accidentally "scraped" my dog's paw. She didn't make it seem like it was that big of a deal and when I looked, the glue was covering the "scrape", so I was unable to see the severity of it. She did tell me that if it gets infected to come back and that they would pay for the vet bill. I paid and left and even tipped thinking it wasn't anything serious. The owner of the place called the next morning apologizing and offered me a discount at my next visit. I just said okay and hung up knowing that I would never go back. I looked at my dog's paw today and it's not a scrape, it's a deep cut. I then look into my dog's ear and they cut her ear too! They failed to mention that to me. I feel like I've failed as a dog mom for putting my pup through this. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Hopefully it was just that groomer and not the others.

Odessa smiling because she loves her cut!

Not friendly. Gave my dog medicine WITHOUT asking OR telling me. Charged me for it though. Would not recommend.

Wish I could give this place a negative star rating. Lady was rude and unprofessional when I asked rates.

I had to wait a day before writing this review, because I wanted to write it with a clear head. I…read morewas too disappointed and upset yesterday when I picked up my two airedales from the grooming. First off, they didn't have my appointment shceduled when I arrived with the two of them at 7:30am. But they went ahead and took them. I had made the appointment the week before, after calling around looking for a place that had experience grooming airedales. They were the first to tell me they were. In fact, shared with me that they had a couple of airedale clients they groom. Just in case, before turning my airedales over to the groomer, I told her specifically. that I liked a long beard and mustache, and not to cut them. I even went as far as to give her photos of how I wanted the "head", showing different angles. I even told them what size blade to use. All I can say is, the ears are right on both dogs. I have no idea how many months...maybe a year, for my female to grow her beard back. Or how long her hair will grow back on her face so she doesn't look like a poodle or whatever that's supposed to be. The Groucho Marx eyebrows and the mustaches....I'll have to do or find another groomer just to fix them. And poor Roadie, he has been limping on his right front leg since we got him home. I was hoping it'd be better today, but it's not. Will have to take him into his vet. if there's no improvement. Don't know what happened, but he didn't have a limp when he went there yesterday morning. And they sure didn't say anything on how he may have hurt himself or gotten hurt. One thing I will not be doing, is taking them to the Big Dog Show at Reliant Stadium , in Houston, for "Meet the Breed". In the past, I've always taken our airedales for that. It's like a "show and tell" , where people can see and touch different AKC breeds and get information about them. They do not represent what an airedale should look like. Not even as a "pet". I didn't expect a show cut, but I did expect an airedale cut from someone who claimed they were experienced and knowledgeable to do that. I have serious doubts...serious doubts that was truthful. The price....shocking...$335.60 ($25.60 was sales tax) I was told $95 each for the grooming because of their weight. Then the upcoding for the nails ($15), conditioner ($5), dematting ($10) (was told they found a mat under Roxie's front leg, I told them to just cut or shave it off..it wouldn't show anyway), they said nothing about finding any mats on Roadie, but I was charged for them.). Then an extra $30 charge for "scissor service". I wasn't told this would be an extra charge above the "grooming service". And what was the "add on pattern set service" ($10) for Roadie? That was a whole other charge...and not one for Roxie. But I guess she was so messed up, they couldn't claim that. Roxie did have a cute bandana that was so tight on her neck, we had to cut it off. Roadie didn't have one, Maybe all they are used to doing are small dogs? You would have thought they would have put some cologne on them at least, but no. Just as well, they probably charged for that. I was shocked at the price. And of course, we had to pay before they brought the dog's out. And they don't give you a receipt of the charges, either. When I got home, I had a mystery message to click some weird link on my phone from an unknown number. Nothing that said it was from Red Bluff Pet Resort. Just a link to "view Roxie and Roadie's report card" and to "click this link to get pre approved for credit". After getting on my computer, I was finally able to figure out it came from them, and the desk person had signed me up for it. First off, there was no report card. There was a place for putting my credit card information in for them to make things easier for next time (as if). And I finally found my receipt and the breakdown of charges. It was a very expensive lesson. Needless to say, I'll be looking for a groomer that really does know how to groom an airedale in the Deer Park, Texas area. Photo of Roxie and Roadie. Then a photo of how they should look. One doesn't look like the other. An experienced groomer would know exactly how to do this. They were both in a "pattern". They just needed to be cut down shorter for the summer

I have a very high maintenance long haired persian cat and am new to the area, so I trusted this business since they are the first groomer that pops up when you google "Best groomer near me". First of all, let's just start with the fact that it was a drop off system. For a cat. That had a pre planned appointment set already. This isn't just a normal drop off system. It's a room full of dogs that are being left there for hours. Oh, did I mention my cat was there for 5 hours? AND they didn't answer my phone call twice to check on my cat? Smh. Anyway, my cat was left still wet, not combed through all the way, and I came to get rid of his knots, which I was told "If he's too difficult I wont dry him through all the way" Girl huh?! what were you doing with him for five hours then?! They literally still had a christmas tree up. In march. If that doesn't tell you how lazy they are I don't know what will. I give this place a 2/10. If you want to go somewhere that will actually treat your high maintenance long haired feline, go to Clear Lake Kennels. I paid $65 to get a proper blowout, knots out, and three baths all within an hour and a half time frame. I paid $125 for a still wet cat, knots, and choppy grooming at Puppy Love Grooming Salon. Will never bring my cat here again and will NEVER recommend even to a dog owner. Don't bother replying if you're the owner, I don't care.
