If I could give zero stars, I would. Ultimate Drivers is a complete scam and waste of money. Their online system is a nightmare -- slow, outdated, and designed in a way that feels like they're making things unnecessarily complicated just to squeeze more cash out of you. The prices are already ridiculous, and somehow they still find ways to steal more from you. I had ONE hour left in my course, but my instructor kept cancelling on me. By the time my course "expired," they told me it was my problem. I called the office for help, and the receptionist was impossible to understand, rude, and fully blamed me. When I asked for assistance, she said someone would email me -- which never happened. I had to keep calling over and over because they just ignored me, probably hoping I'd give up. Now, instead of fixing their screw-ups, they're forcing me to pay even more money, take 20 hours of in-class sessions (two entire weekends gone after I had already completed it -- 30 hours mind you --), and complete 3 more hours of lessons because my instructor didn't cancel properly. This place is disorganized, shady, and incredibly difficult to deal with. Save yourself the stress and frustration -- go anywhere else. Ultimate Drivers a complete joke. read more

Terrible experience. My child was not able to finish the course in time and they refused to refund the extra we had paid to rent the instructor's car for the driving test. Absolutely horrible experience with Ultimate Drivers. Other than the fact that the teacher who was teaching the 20 hours of course work which covered everything learned in G1 and a little bit more such as defensive and different techniques were great. But my god were the driving instructors absolutely HORRIBLE! I was paired up with Sam. In his car I was not allowed to change the mirrors or the rear view mirror to how I use it normally because it was already "perfect". This is utterly incompetent as mirrors are the fundamentals to staying safe while driving and now allowing me to change them is genuinely crazy. Whatever, I moved past that and it kept getting worse because Sam would let me drive on main roads!!? Hello? The G2 road test is literally on main roads and all I was being taught with was how to drive in neighbourhoods, this is absolutely crazy. Ultimate Drivers is extremely lucky I already know how to drive and only did it for the discounted insurance, as it would have been horrible if I did not know how to drive. Whatever, I moved passed these because I already was great at driving and Sam said so as well. Then it gets worse... On the G2 Road test, Sam was unavailable so I had to use Ronnie's car for it. I looked at the reviews and EVERYONE was saying such amazing things about him, and guess what. As expected of Ultimate Drivers, this instructor was horrible. AND EVEN WORSE THAN SAM. RONNIE IS HORRIBLE. For the G2 road test he would NOT LET ME CHANGE THE MIRRORS OR CHANGE THE SEATING POSITION. I had to sit exactly how Ronnie sits in his car, WHICH WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE STEERING WHEEL. I had absolutely no room, and the mirrors were 90% the car and 10% the roads, I literally was fearing that I was going to fail because this is crazy... Once again, I thought whatever, Ill just passed this. So since I never learnt with Ronnie I had to do an extra lesson, so we did that. DURING THE LESSON it was a flashing school zone... (40kmph zone) AND HE TOLD ME TO GO 50KMPH. As a g1 driver being taught by an instructor being told to get 10 over the speed limit, mind you was in a School Zone which is literally a 10x worse of an offense made me extremely uncomfortable. This is absolutely crazy, Ultimate Drivers is making me do illegal things which is crazy if they are supposed to teach you how to drive?? DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS AND DO NOT ATTEND THIS ULTIMATE DRIVERS IT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Sam and Ronnie SUCK! They are horrible, and will only do the worst for you. After I passed the G2 test which is crazy I am lowkey goated because it was a horrible driving experience, Ronnie told me to rate him a 5 star review and even gave me hotspot to do so. I was driving back in his car so I felt obligated to and if I didn't I would actually be afraid what might happen. I was forced to write a 5 star review, which I obviously took down, but all these five star reviews you see about Ronnie is 100% all crap. I quite literally read your email and stared at it in disbelief. "all students are permitted and encouraged to adjust mirrors and seating." OF COURSE that is what your policy says and it is quite literally illegal to not. However, the instructor I was with did not allow it and explicitly said to not adjust it because it was "perfect". Absolutely TERRIBLE!!! The software is beyond glitchy. Sections repeat slides constantly, login issues, time completed goes backward. Tech support is somewhere beyond incompetent and completely non-existent. The people are rude. In general, I would characterize the whole thing as a scam. They take your money upfront for the online and in car course. Then they do everything possible to make the online course so frustrating that you will give up and they can keep your money for the in car portion of the program (which you can't do without completing the online course). A Complete Scam: Unprofessional, Inconsistent, and Unethical Driving School Experience I would give Ultimate Drivers zero stars if I could. This was my second experience with them, and I will not be returning. My first instructor was consistently late--often up to an hour late--for every lesson, which was incredibly frustrating because I have a busy schedule and can't afford to waste time waiting around. His constant tardiness was so discouraging, especially since I would often end up late to work, appointments, or meetings because of him. It ruined my schedule and caused a lot of stress. On top of that, he would often cancel lessons last minute and make up excuses, making it even harder to rely on the schedule. Instead of focusing on my driving, he would use the lessons as an excuse to run his own errands. He'd make me drive him to stores so he could do his groceries, then we'd have to drive back. The first instructor was so bad at teaching that he would constantly tell me I needed more lessons, even after saying I'd be ready with 10 more lessons each time. It became clear that he was just trying to get more money, since every time we got close to the 10 lessons, he'd tell me I wasn't ready and needed more. He would also tell me I wouldn't pass the driving test, but never explained how I could improve my driving. When I asked for advice, he couldn't provide any concrete feedback, which made it clear he was just padding the lessons to make more money. Additionally, the first instructor tried to move lessons off of the school and charge me more privately, which felt incredibly unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. At first, he quoted me a price for private lessons off school grounds, but later denied saying that and tried to pressure me into agreeing to a higher price for those lessons. I eventually asked to switch instructors because of how bad my experience was, but I ended up with an instructor just as bad. He was perhaps better at teaching, offering more concrete feedback, but there were plenty of other issues. One of those issues was that he smoked during the lessons, which I found incredibly unprofessional and distracting, especially in a confined space like the car. For my second set of lessons, the instructor was just as bad. At the end of my last class, he pressured me to write a 5-star review and forced me to do it under my real name and mention his name, praising how good of an instructor he is. I said I didn't know what to write and he had a fake review typed out on his phone he wanted me to copy and paste under my name and email while making a few edits. He raised his voice when I tried to leave without doing so, which made me extremely uncomfortable. It felt wrong that he was forcing me to do this under my real name, and his behavior during that time made the entire situation worse. The fake review he had prepared on his phone makes it clear that the school pressures impressionable young adults into leaving 5-star reviews on Google, or at least their instructors do since they might get something out of it. He kept saying how amazing my driving was, which honestly felt like over-the-top flattery, and it was obvious he was just trying to get good reviews. To top it off, he was often inattentive during the lesson, spending a lot of time on his phone, which is absolutely not okay. The review I wrote is since deleted, but the whole experience felt unethical. It's also suspicious that their Google reviews are all 5-stars, but their Yelp reviews are much lower. It seems like they're actively inflating their online reputation. The instruction itself was terrible. I didn't feel like I was learning anything new. The topics discussed in the website are also very tedious and erroneous. Most of them are pointless topics and are mainly common sense. It's important to point out that every 2nd class I attended there was completely new set people over a 2 week period. and not a single person got into the test with no issues. Extremely disappointed in the lessons taught by Gord. My child constantly came home sharing horrific stories that Gord told this vulnerable population of teens. I regret paying for this course. Not only is the online class riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes, but it's incredibly slow at all hours of the day and forces you to re-do questions. It will also give you conflicting information and mark you as wrong on the quiz. The whole thing is narrated by this robot voice, and it doesn't give you the option to skip it. Haven't started in car lessons yet so can't speak to them, but so far I really really wish I'd done my research before hand and had chosen a different school. read more

Very transparent and self-explanatory website. After doing my due diligence I finally signed up my daughter with them. He had a great experience with their online E-Learning program. I'm doing the online course and it is very unstable and hard to use, I tried submitting a mini-assignment and it gave me errors, the tests have extremely confusing and specific questions that can have the same meaning just worded differently, and one is correct and the other is wrong, some aspects of the answer can be correct, however a slightly more specific answer is the correct one. The course is a big mind game. Matching sentences to pictures make no sense whatsoever, the support center has no actual support, and the "20 hours" is completely wrong, looked at my time in course remaining, and it said 11 hours and 47 minutes, after 10 minutes of listening to the course and 20 minutes of a very confusing exam later, it said 11 hours and 34 minutes. I usually don't leave reviews but I have to at this point. This is the worst driving school in Brampton. As of May 13th, 2019, I cancelled my lessons with this company and they charged me a ridiculous amount where the full breakdown of the charges was not included in my refund. After requesting for a recalculation, since I had contacted a previous instructor and the return didn't seem right, Ultimate drivers responded to me with another full breakdown(as requested) which was a huge change from the previous charges stated. Essentially, I was receiving more returns this time which showed me that this company had hidden charges to their fees, and are not sincere or consistent with their charges when it comes to redrawing from their program. (Side Note: It is advisable for them to put these run-down of fees on their website so customers can see the full breakdown of transactions aka, what we are paying for) That way there's more consistency and efficiency in these fees.  Now, after receiving my refund back in the summer of 2019, I was unable to cash this cheque out because I had kept it in my files and forgotten about it. I am sure a lot of people have had this encounter before. When I started looking through some of my documents in March of 2021, I realized that I hadn't cashed the cheque from Ultimate Drivers. This cheque was technically unaccounted for (since it had been more than 6months), I contacted my bank. My bank told me that I should contact Ultimate Drivers and they would easily reissue this cheque within days. Just like that, I did reach out to them through email. Now, at this time, it was during the transition out of lockdown and offices were still closed so I was told that they would reach out to me once things start to reopen fully. This was very understandable and so I tried to reach out to them during the month of April, and they said the same thing. In August, at this point, offices were now open, and I hadn't heard back from them yet so I called them. I told them I would like to get my refund since offices are now open, so I was told to come to the office to drop off the cheque first, which I did. I met a very confused and rude receptionist who seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. After dropping off my cheque, I asked her when I will be hearing back about reissuing my cheque, she told me she'd have to speak with the manager who was in her office at the time. She assumed that I would be getting a new cheque that same day but when she went to speak to the manager, she told me she'd follow up with me either that same day or the next. I made sure, she sent me an email confirmation of the cheque being dropped off before I left. Which I am very happy about due to the current state that we are in with this issue. I didn't hear back from Ultimate drivers for a week even after being advised to hear from them within a day. I called the office and I was told that they are going through accounting and trying to see if the cheque had been deposited or not and once they do, I'll hear back from them. I asked when I will be hearing back, I was told in two days. Those days passed, and after the 4th day, I called again, I spoke to the same receptionist. I was told she'll call me back in a day regarding the issue as she had to hear from the manager. Again, I didn't hear back from the company within said date and called after a few days. At this point, I was very upset as I was told I would hear back but it seemed like very poor communication. I asked about the issue. I was told the same thing that they are trying to see if the cheque was being deposited. My reasoning is, if the cheque was already used, you wouldn't have had the REAL cheque dropped off at your location. Also, it doesn't take months and months to go through accounting. By 3 weeks, I should be able to know when I am getting a refund. The receptionist was so rude and also questioned, "Why didn't you redraw the cheque given to you". I thought that was very out of pocket as you know things happen and people forget to do certain things, it wasn't her place to ask that question and it was very unprofessional. I was very upset and stopped calling for a while. I decided to give it some time to get back to the situation. In September, I tried calling multiple times but when I did, I was put on to leave a voice message. In October, I heard about Better Business Bureau and tried searching for this company's name but I don't think they are registered under them. I have tried reaching out to them through emails and calls (leaving voice messages). I haven't been able to hear back from them ever since. It seems like the company is trying to stall time to pay me back my money while using the excuse of "We are going through Accounting". I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK, THAT'S ALL. I am very curious if anyone has had this issue with this company before. I am advising any and everyone to refrain from this very unprofessional company. read more

DO NOT USE ULTIMATE DRIVERS IN BRAMPTON ....After completing on line course, in class corse, we waited and called multiple times over 7 weeks for an instructor to commite to in car lessons, after being given a new instructor, he made an appointment for day and time, and then failed to show up. The owners Gail/Tony fought to not refund our money as we were very very frustrated and they fail to fulfill the contract, and wanted to take our business else where. Finally, they refunded the balance. I am now requesting a copy of the certificate provided after these classes that help lower insurance rates. And Gail has stated that all records regarding my daughter's classes have been destroyed. Unproffessional underhanded and rude, this company is a nightmare to deal with. I have contacted MTO and Beginner drivers at MTO and they are looking into this issue. TAKE MY ADVISE...Use ANYONE ELSE but Brampton Ultimate drivers. Oakville location ; No communication whatsoever and when we try to call for clarification on updates they respond with impatience / wrong information and try to hang up on you. 18 months we have been trying to get clarification on an account....the person on the phone had no idea that the students online access had expired because the company was so slow. We did a written test and they lost it . They told us it was our responsibility to schedule in car lessons but they had no idea if we had passed a course / if the course had been completed....OR that we actually didn't have a driver assigned. We had to do a THIRD test online but the website test itself was BROKEN with many questions offering no answers to choose from....and no way to answer or submit. The in-class portion was quick and easy, but the in-car sessions took four months to get 10 hours, with a lesson only every 2-3 weeks. I complained to the office after two months, but nothing changed. After two more months, and my son frequently requesting that the instructor give him more lessons, I wrote a negative review online. Absolutely dissatisfied in the four day condensed course! Selected this specific course as it would affect my work schedule the least and I wish I had never wasted my money and signed up for the course to begin with. Total waste of money! Learned nothing that I did not already know. The first in class teacher was Keith who was the most helpful and took his time and allowed the class to take notes and spoke only of information regarding the course. Then each day and each session was pretty much a different teacher. They should not be changing the teachers each day or session. It makes it so much more difficult to learn, is so unorganized, and the second teacher talked entirely about himself, blew through the slideshows, and gave double the breaks and lunch when I am paying to be IN the class! For something that is already expensive I expect to be taught not listening to someone go on about themselves, about totally unrelated content. And to give 20 minutes breaks instead of 10 and then an hour and twenty minute lunch. And finish the class half an hour early as well. Went so fast no one was able to take notes. Then the next session was someone entirely different again! Who made me consider asking for a refund and walking out then! Again blew through slide shows and videos, took zero notes, in an already freezing classroom, asked the class if we wanted the fans on to which we ALL said no and then stilll proceeds to turn on not one or a couple but every single noisy fan, so while already struggling trying to pay attention all you have is him walking back and forth, in your view pressing a million buttons and messing with fans and making it even colder and more uncomfortable! Never felt so irritated and anxious in my life as in this class room! Then each day at least twice I would have to beg the front desk for my log in to be able to access the online test and to be able to book my in car lessons, only to be told repeatedly to "check your spam folder" I did, "well give it another day" No! I am paying for this course and to get my money's worth and for things to be working! Stop giving me the same bullshit response! I don't care if the website is down or what the excuse is I want it resolved and expect it to work. So now I am no longer in class, I have to call and constantly beg for more updates with no answer or when answered given the same ridiculous response! When the point was to complete this program as fast as possible and I can't even get online! Or book! So then the instructors in turn then all get booked up and I have to wait! This course and the organization of it or lack there of is absolutely unacceptable! Do not go here!!! I imagine anywhere else would be better! Paying for a condensed course to save time and complete as fast as possible and you may as well take the longer course cause you are never ever accessed the online!
