I had gained confidence since I joined Champions taekwondo 13th ave and also the most important thing is that taekwondo took me out of my boring life. I don't sit down afterschool in front of the computer and hope for time to pass any more, instead of that now I spend my time on what I love to do. Of course, I didn't forgot that I still have school, some parents might think that taekwondo would distract their child from school work. But they are wrong, taekwondo helps you focus on what you're doing. Especially Ultimate champions taekwondo 13th ave does a great job with it. The prove is that since I started taekwondo I had improved on my grades, and I got in to a good high school. So parents you don't have to worry about your kid getting distracted from school work, it would actually help them more. I am thankful for all of the things that Master Park had taught me, SHE IS THE BEST MASTER IN THE WORugLD. Because of her I had found what I'm passionate for. And thank you to all my friends in taekwondo that made my life interesting. So parents instead of letting your child sit in front of phones, i pads, and computers, why don't you send them to Ultimate Champions Taekwondo 13th ave. read more

Champions Taekwondo has been such a wonderful experience for our four-year-old son. We started with some trial classes when he was three, and I thought he might be too young for it, but it was simply not true. Kids gain so much confidence in class and learn to really focus and utilize their energy in a positive way. I love seeing our son take initiative when they do exercises that demonstrate leadership. It makes me so proud. He is a very dreamy, goofy, and sensitive kid. And while I don't want to squash his creative, daydreamy nature whatsoever, I find it really fascinating to see how he can focus in Taekwondo and learn so many things about himself. We have seen him get stronger, use more eye contact, learn to control his body, and many other skills, and have seen them translated into how he is at home. I can't recommend enough! We love the instructors, including the junior staff (these young men and women are especially inspiring to our son, who now has several older, positive teenaged influences. Something that can be hard to come by.) Thank you, Champions Taekwondo! read more

Why should you read this comment? Because, although I have never been at the school, I know ULTIMATE CHAMPION'S TKD 13th Ave is a VERY GOOD one. But how I know that? Well, first, I know one of the teachers: MASTER PARK. She has degree on Physical Education, she has a high black belt TKD graduation and she is Korean - so she can teach you very well the TKD and also things about Korea, the cradle of Taekwondo. But, the most important thing about MASTER PARK is that she is very dedicated to teach Taekwondo, she loves TKD. In fact, TKD IS HER LIFE ! Second, I know that ULTIMATE CHAMPION'S TKD 13th Ave has a very good structure for training, good space and the parents can attend the classes. Finally, and I guess the MOST IMPORTANT thing, at ULTIMATE CHAMPION'S TKD 13th Ave the students learn TKD and also the school provides FRIENDSHIP and HAPPINESS. You can see how the students are happy looking the pictures here on Yelp, or searching for the school on another social networking service. Choose ULTIMATE CHAMPION'S TKD 13th Ave: a VERY GOOD school. read more

My 3 year old son asks every day to goto karate . He loves this place! Master park and Mario adore their students and the kids know it. I honestly am amazed that at 3 years old "practices" at home...and follows along so well in his class. They all do, because they have fun and learn ! I Didn't think a 3 year old could benefit so immensely from a program .. And didn't know if he should register.. But it is the best thing we have had him join our of all the activities he is in! He learned so much already and every week you can see his improvement, he fits in with 4 and 5 year olds and loves it!!!!! We truly appreciate all master park , Mario and Deborah do for our little guys. Thank you for providing discipline and physical activity in such a fun manner. These guys truly care for their students and business as they incorporate many fun extra activities: parties, adult classes, mommy class, buddy week, sleep overs etc. Best karate school in Brooklyn we will be there until he ages out read more

First introduced by groupon when I found a great deal that comes with uniform, was only going to do a trial just to see if my boys will like it. Bam! The boys loves this place, got to meet new friends, staff and build up their confidence. We have been here for almost a year, my boys have grown so much inside and out. Master Park instructor Ed and Mario, their staff is very patient to all students and I can tell they love what they are doing, enjoying teaching tkd and meeting new families. They have different warm up activities every week which is great so kids never get bored. Great music here to keep students hyped and energetic. They offer birthday parties here! Best place for kids of all ages to learn self defense, respect, and how to be confident! I love it here and others will too. I've been doing it for a little bit and I've gained a lot of experience when it comes to confidence and self defense. Before I felt weak and I wasn't very confident in myself when I joined they taught me so much about how important it was to believe in yourself. They have a lot of fun events and I enjoy everyone I can possibly go too. I will definitely stay here until my heart gives out the people here are like my second family that I wouldn't leave for the sake of the world. Our master has been very supportive of us no matter what and every staff and student are very nice people. This TKD is our home and I wouldn't change it for the world. read more

This place can never be described it words; you have to go and experience in order to understand how wonderful it is. Nothing can beat how friendly everyone there is. It is filled with friendly staffs, everyone there comes back out with friends. It is like a second home to all the students there. Everyone is treated with respect and loved like they are their own family members. Everyone can come here and learn various skills: responsibility, respect, defense, friendships, patience, etc. There are many classes and times available which makes it easy for fitting into a schedule. There are also many fun events that they do with the students. Like I first stated no words and describe this place better than going to see it yourself. read more

My almost 6 years old son has been coming here for almost a year now and he absolutely LOVES IT! Ever since he started Tae Kwon Do, he has more stamina, concentration and focus. He attends TKD after school 2 to 3xs a week and he never once complained about going. Master Shannon Park is such a patient instructor, whose love for the sport is shown through her interactions with each and every child. She is a firm master but she also knows how to make the class fun; therefore, all her students adore and have lots of respect for her. Her junior instructors are also great too, they are so respectful and demonstrates a good example for the younger kids. Definitely a 5 star place!! read more

I recently joined Kickboxing in 13th avenue. The Master Shannon is a petit women who motivates, encourages and pushes me to the limits. Do you want to come and waist time? Then don't come. Do you want to come and take long breaks? Then don't come. Do you want to come and not learn anything without breaking a sweat ? Then don't come. But if you have a little Demon inside you who wants to rip and kick some aAaz, then this is where you have to come to feed your soul. Exciting, motivating, sweaty ,fun and most of all you learn, you get disciplined. Come and challenge yourself. Highly recommended. read more

This place is probably the best place that teaches martial art. Not only it covers the basic, such as discipline, respect and confident, but life lessons too. For instance, the Master here is a experienced martial artist and she often communicate with students with all her attention and their needs. To add on, the Master teaches experience, that she had experienced about and share them to her students about how life is and how it is affecting us, I had been in this school for 4 years and I hope to see it keep growing. read more
