Gave them 1 star because if not I could not leave the review. Worst home care agency. Coordinators pose as Supervisor to cover up for other coordinators. Actual Supervisors take coordinators side without properly finding out what cause the problem. I'm switching my daughter's case to another agency because I am not dealing with unprofessional employees any longer. If they're unprofessional and uncaring to patients who have family members that care and stay on top of their family members situations I can only imagine how they treat patients who have no family members to defend them. zero 0. one of the worst agency i have worked for, still waiting for a payment work one day and coordinator lied about duties and when i said would not return they would not pay me for that day. i dont see how they have been open this long, they claim the best way to get in contact with them is email and app. they dont answer emails and they app never works. and they dont answer. coordinators leave after a week. nobody name matches extension. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING... SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY CALL YOU SWEETY, HONEY, DARLING LIKE THEY KNOW YOU. THEY DONT CHECK INFORMATION WHEN GOING TO CLIENT HOME, THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Unreliable. Worst agency I ever had. The agency doesn't send the aides to meet me at my doctor's appointment. Instead they send them to my house. I haven't had 5 hours a day, 25 hours a week. The majority of the aides are rude and they come late. They believe their job is to clock in and watch tiktok and facebook or youtube. They make or receive person calls while on the clock and right away, they want to eat their meal as soon as they walk in the door. The aide I had today had the audacity to ask a customer at the store we in for a bottle of water even though she had a can of soda on her to drink. She didn't even offer the other customer any money for the bottle of water. She said she was thirsty and wanted it now!!!!!!!!!!!! I said to her, we can go into Shoprite because there they sell single bottles of water. This is just today alone of my lousy experience. This agency needs to train to aides they hire. read more

For the most part they are a pretty decent company there timing could be better and they can use more organization but they do take ownership for there problem and for the most part try to fix them in a timely manner and the do make my dad happy the aids are pretty friendly the do take pride in who they hire and the make sure that the client is always happy. read more

Finding someone to take care of your elderly grandmother with dementia is already a daunting task, which was made even harder by the home aids sent by Ultimate care. The aid we usual have is decent but the home care aid we got when she went on vacation came to work intoxicated and was laying down on my couch when I got home! Then to top it off she hit my mother and the police had to get involved. If you value the safety of your loved ones in the most vulnerable time of their life please consider a different agency. All the other aids from this agency are lazy and don't do anything consider a family member if viable. read more

From both outside and inside look into the organization. This healthcare agency actually cares about everyone that comes in. Communication is improving and organization can be improved but the amount of effort is exceptional. From the receptionist in the front to the director there is value in the effort they go for the patient and HHA. From the inside perspective there is plenty of growth from the initial position you get. This is for both the HHA's and office employees. I have seen HHAs get the recognition that they deserve for their compassion to the patients. I do agree that there is room for improvement but there is no doubt that this agency cares about everyone that comes through that door. read more

There are several things wrong with whom they sent to care for my father. First there is a huge language barrier. She finds it best to feed herself upon arrival, and then do her prayers and then sit down beside the bed. Unless I ask this woman to do something for my father, she will sit on her cell phone, talking in another language or looking at something on the phone. She does not understand simple instruction. Feeding; she takes frozen food out of the freezer, breaks it up (God know's how) nukes half of it and puts the other half back in the freezer uncovered. Does not know how to use a coffee maker. I watched her on video make a cup of coffee using two cups with the Mr. Coffee maker. The RN from VNSNY asked her to place pillows under my father to support him, she just stood there. I had to direct her to the tower of pillows we have in the room. When the RN rang the bell, she sat there and did not answer the door. I asked her if she heard the bell, and she said yes. Let's move on to the office. I called Arlene and Tula, left messages on both of their voicemails expressing my concern and to please send someone else. Neither one of them called me back. This woman, who basically only changes underwear is still coming to the home to "care" for my father who is bed bound. She does absolutely nothing else. I asked her if she gave him lunch, and she said no. He said no. I told her if you make the food and place it in front of him, when he sees it he will eat it. Everything has been laid out for her on her care of plan sheet from the nurse and she does not do any of it at all. Does not even change a garbage bag. Nothing. But she'll drink all your orange juice. Don't you worry about that. I do not recommend this agency at all, solely based on the fact that the coordinators; Arlene and Tula, do not call you back when you express there is a problem with the HHA. I also use Partners in Care in conjunction with Ultimate Care and Partners in Care's aides are much better. read more
