I asked UA to do a number of upgrades to improve livability and storage in my 2024 Flying Cloud 27FB. These included lifting the bed to create a dog kennel solution underneath, adding a shelf to each of the bedside tables, drawers in the right side of the hall wardrobe, an extra bank of cabinets in the bathroom, an extra cabinet and improved cushion scenario in the lounge, replaced the opaque door window with clear glass and roller shade, and an extra outlet. I picked up my unit today and could not be more impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. Things like thinking to put 160 degree hinges on the wardrobe doors so they can remain open as you pass through the hallway instead of crashing into them. Or making sure hallway drawer pulls are shallow enough so the bathroom door clears them with ease, and detailing the unit inside and out. It looks brand new! I'm over the moon. On top of all this, the team I worked with from design to production to payment were top notch. They communicate well internally and did so with me as well. I felt like part of the family; well cared for and supported. I can't wait to work with them again and wholeheartedly recommend them.

We recently had an amazing remodel of our 2018 Flying Cloud. We wanted a more comfortable living space and more storage for kitchen. The factory set up just wasn't cutting it for us. We worked with Ian Harnish, the Project Designer. He provided lightning fast communication, never tired of my endless emails with questions and changes. During the process, we received progress photos which was so exciting. We feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful place for everything Airstream less than an hours drive from home.

Ultimate did some mods to our 2023 Airstream Flying Cloud 23FBT. Ultimate Airstreams shortened the dinette table and reset it on a Pottery Barn Edition post with a study mounting bracket for the tabletop. Next they remade the dinette cushions using factory upholstery but also used a 4" higher quality foam instead of factory 5" lesser quality foam. Finally, they replaced the two Fantastic Fans with two MaxxFan 7500 with remote controls. Their work is expensive but of the highest quality and outstanding craftsmanship. Ian and his team were timely and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Ultimate Airstreams for any Airstream modifications.

Ian was fantastic and went above and beyond the call of duty to insure our expirience and expectations were very satisfied.

During the inspection Davey tried to sell me on a new roof and a number of other things I could not afford. I said lets just focus on the water leak. He did determine that this was caused by a burst water heater tank and gave me two options - a replacement original part or a newer part which he said was only about $50 more. Estimates for the work were between $500-$800 dollars and I said go ahead. The work was not completed on time, but was over a week late. When it was done he told me it would be $1550 but if I paid cash he would knock $100 off. I was stunned. When I asked why he said they had to rework all the plumbing for the new part! I was never told that this would double the cost. I sucked it up though I wasn't happy and went to pick the camper up. During the testing of the work the water heater caught on fire with flames up the side of the camper. He blamed his worker and wanted to tighten up a few things and let me take it then. I told him this shook my confidence in all the work done and to have him inspect the whole thing. I came back and paid him, then got home and found that the water cap was broken and called him about it. He had me come back in to pick up the part and admitted he knew it was broken but that it wasn't a big deal. Later I found that the panel over the water tank had not be reinstalled correctly and was loose. When I took it apart I found it was a broken mount but was not interested in having him correct his work as there were already bad feelings and had been back too many times. He did terrible work and had a bad attitude when I complained about it. Go to Curtis Trailers, you will pay the same and get quality work and helpful staff.

Portland Airstream is all about the sale. I spent $120K for a new 27' Globtrotter. Unfortunately…read moreI purchased it just before winter. They give you three months to find issues with the trailer that the dealership/Airstream covers. After that you are on your own. Basically these high priced trailers have a three month warranty. Since we didn't take the trailer out during freezing weather we didn't really test the trailer out, so had very few issues to bring to their attention after three months. When summer rolled around we were able to actually test the trailer and found several issues. When I emailed Portland Airstream and inquired about those issues that show up within a year of purchase they blew me off. I emailed them again a few days later after zero response. Once again they blew me off and didn't respond. I finally called the service department and they seem to have no idea of my emails. They basically told me issues brought up now are only covered if they are under Airstream's limited three year warranty, which isn't much, come to find out. So beware, this dealership is all about the sale, after that it's up to the purchaser to pay more and more money correcting things that should be covered under any decent warranty. I hate to say it, but a vacuum cleaner has a better warranty than Airstream does.

One of the things was faulty…read moreafter they did the work and when I called to have a polite and straightforward conversation about how to have this issue remedied the manager at the service department (Pablo) was incredibly rude to me. He actually started putting words in my mouth on the call stating that I said things I didn't say. At that point I suggested we move things to email as I was not comfortable proceeding with further phone conversations. I would highly suggest taking your Airstream to Seattle, rather than dealing with this sort of behavior. Very unprofessional, and disheartening to see that a brand like Airstream is associating with a crew like this. Vote with your dollar and go somewhere more professional and honest.
