You can see the theater has aged, and well loved. Pricing for concessions and tickets were not bad at all even with the fees. I also heard the staff explaining how busy it can get during their 50% off ticket and popcorn days, which is a deal if you don't mind the crowds. Seats have definitely seen better days, but I do like how high the backing is and for someone short like me, there were no issues of being able to see the screen even if someone tall was in front of me.

I didn't try anything though & just brought my water bottle inside. We parked in the free underground lot & it was easy to walk over to the cinema. I went to the 1230 showing and Tuesday and Wednesday so I think it's half price in any case. I also got a senior discount added to the already Tuesday discount and I only paid $8.89 for my ticket. Not bad for three hours of air conditioning plus epic movie. I wasn't sure if I would like the movie since it is so long, but it completely held my attention, especially when I got to see the Greek mythology portions that I remember from reading in my seventh grade social studies classes. Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway did great jobs as Odysseus and Penelope and I thought the cast was very good. There were quite a few people in the theater and the ticket. People were friendly and helpful and the bathroom was nice and clean. Plenty of parking during the day during the week. Come to fashion Valley on their discount Tuesdays and Wednesdays and enjoy a good movie, especially in this extreme summer heat.

When I asked the manager, whose name is Shatia for help, she repeatedly questioned how she could know I wasn't planning to watch the movie twice. I came for help with a booking problem and left feeling dismissed and disbelieved. Having to defend myself instead of being heard was frustrating and insulting. This was the worst interaction I've had with a manager during my six years as a member. A manager should listen, investigate the issue, and treat customers with respect. This experience fell far short of that.

It is located at Liberty Station and in good condition. It's a luxury theater. So impressive watching the workers carrying orders up and down the stairs and deliver items correctly. When we arrived there as no one manning the ticket or snack area across. No one was at the podium either. We were unsure if we should proceed to find our theater. Just at their moment, a female worker with a tray appeared so we could find out which direction to find our show. For a clean, classy venue, some of the movie goers were majorly loud. Perhaps the novelty and their young age couldn't contain themselves.

I like that they have a set parking price while you're at the movie, but $11 is pretty steep when you're paying $25 per ticket.

San Diego back in the 1900 and the 1920s was rich in the many areas of creating and the many movies that were coming out of Hollywood would be showed to certain cities many theaters which had those years had the great welcome to the areas of the first silent movies. The History of the Guild Theater has so many years to it. The Hillcrest theater was built in 1913 as a silent picture house and the first theater for San Diego of the Hillcrest Area though small in small in size it also has a balcony. It was built in Distinctive Spanish with the form of the front and the bell that has been there for many years the apex has supported the bell for many years as so many have driven past the theater up 5th Avenue. For some reason it had closed down in 1917 and than the theater was reopened back in the year of 1930 by the fox chain of theaters here in San Diego. One of the greatest cult movies that was shown at the Guild was at the Rocky Horror Picture Show Sadly in the year 1997 the theater was closed the same Historic Park Theater was closed just blocks away the interior was changed and the many businesses that had taken over the front area the many great pieces of history are closed with the locations you may see in the Hillcrest and those that are in the North Park area. With the many historical places you may see some that have been here since the 1970s that have such great history with the many cities so many get torn down. Being a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many places to find are some of the bests being a per5sont that has grown up since 1969 for the many seasons and the historical places the many foods and the historical times which have made San Diego the one place the Military and the Top Gun School made the City Famous. Coincidentally re-encountering with long time not seen friends and colleagues gave a vibe of 'neighborhood' even if I don't live in Little Italy. The speakers introducing the movie did a great job in engaging the audience. I not only enjoyed the company, the film itself and the summer night, but also the sense of community there. Only $5. Do not forget to bring a small blanket or a beach towel, it can be chilly.

Also enjoyed the amusing guy who introduced the movie, A popular new trend that I think Arclight started. Anyway, if you haven't been here in a while I recommend you come back and support this awesome Landmark theater. We don't want to lose a place like this is not the same as all the other typical AMCs etc. out there.
