The products are not cheap, but they do last a very lone time and the staff will work with you on what your skins needs in order to achieve, healthier, better looking skin. You do not have to spend a ton of money. I pay a monthly fee of $100 and I don't use the entire amount on my facials unless I need to buy more products. Most months, I have a credit that will roll over. I've seen Lindsey, when I first started, then Hannah and now I see Journey and they are all wonderful! Ashley at the front desk is awesome as well. My friend told me her and her daughter got $25 facials here and I should give them a try. I was on clinical rotation in Owensboro so I scheduled an appointment during my lunch break. I was thinking I'll have a relaxing experience, and can just grab a healthy smoothie for lunch. The building inside and out is aesthetically pleasing and the staff were very welcoming upon my arrival. I had my scrubs on since I was on lunch so the staff chatted up about she was a Registered Nurse and how she thought about going back to school. We spent a lot of time talking about her ambitions and then she says, I'm going to give you a derma-plane. Honestly, I did not know what this was and she did not explain. I did ask, is that part of the facial?, while she gathered her things then turned and says, yes. She literally SHAVED my face. For those out there that also do not know, it's a small sideways razor that is to shave the "peach fuzz" off the face. I was kinda freakin out. But I thought, just go with this and relax. When she got done, she asked if I had allergies. I told her most products cause problems so I only use coconut oil as a moisturizer. She says well you'll like this. She puts a lotion on my face. I know it was lotion based because I could instantly feel my pores close as she applied. She did not apply it in a massage kind of way. She slaps it on like she was afraid to touch my skin which is acne free, no blemishes so why do it like that? Then asks me to walk me to walk with her over to this wall to "buy some" of this stuff while I notice my face to start stinging. I told her I was not sure how this lotion will work, so I might purchase at a later time. She then walks me over to the cashier that charges me $85. I asked, for a shaved face and a lotion? She says, yes. I reluctantly paid and left. I got back to clinical and was talking to the staff. We looked up the pricing on the website. I was really confused since the costs was not adding up. So I called the place back and asked how much is a facial? She says it depends on what you get done. I told her about my friend telling me about the $25 facials. She says no. She said the derma-planing is $35. I was like okay but I was charged $85. She said I was charged $50 for the consult. I did not get a consult. We talked about what she wanted to do in her life and she asked me to buy a lotion that was stinging my face. You know, they got $85 out of me. And I will never return. My daughter will never go. My recommendation to anyone asking will be not want to go. We need a place that gives $25 facials. I would go to a place with actual relaxing, massaging, 20 minute, $25 facials every time I came to Owensboro. But that is NOT what we have here.

I reached out to you early this past Monday and you replied back one time then nothing all way up to Wednesday when I scheduled with someone else after walking around looking angry . Good business would have been to reach out to me immediately . Snow did not prevent you from doing that . You can come back at me with stating irrelevant tasteless claims and that shows your ethics. I have taken the time to report you to the Ky licensing board . Do I think people make mistakes ? Yes , I do but your handling of having others come review your business to get back to 5 stars is totally unethical. I was a paying client and you treated me like oh I will get to her WHEN I CAN. Keep coming at me, I have pictures that show how you left me and will posting those everywhere ... The worst part is getting your friends to review for you when you made a mistake. In good faith, I really would NOT recommend this dermatology practice. For some reason, (I will…read morenot speculate) they schedule far too many patients per day for the practitioners to do a thorough, competent and complete exam. After waiting over 90 minutes, I had a 2-3 minute exam for skin cancer. The Dr. did not wear magnification glasses, check my face up close, have me stand or check the back of my legs or sides. I found a mole on my side the next morning that he missed. He rushed and treated a few spots in seconds with liquid nitrogen which hurt like the devil and blistered up which has never happened to me before. I will not be returning- this practice is NOT for me. I want to be valued as a patient and a human being not a number.

I am new to the area and needed to find a new stylist. Unfortunately my experience at All About you…read moresalon was not a good one. All that was required on my hair was a clean highlight meaning lift the highlights to a 9 or 10. My hair does not even typically need toner. If a toner was ever needed you would simply use Matrix SPV or equivalent to tone. The stylist Kaylee not only under processed the highlights ... she then colored the hair the wrong dark brown/purple COLOR (equivalent to Matrix 5PV) rather than using the correct toner. Never once did she even question or ask if she had any thought that the toner would not produce an icy blonde highlight. She just put it on my hair. She attempted to fix with cpr and a highlight. If I would have allowed Kaylee to "re-tone" my hair she would have used a color similar to what she did originally as I was later advised by the owner Bethany Norris that Kaylee believed that was the color I wanted was Matrix 5pv (dark purple) even though she saw photos and I also told her verbally I only wanted icy highlights that were not yellow or orange. Never once was it mentioned or questioned by Kaylee even with photos and me verbally stating what I wanted. She simply put the color on my hair. This is indeed an error on her part and the salon is refusing to accept responsibility for what they did to my hair. Kaylee should have verbally mentioned something to me regarding the "toner". She never did. She just put it on my hair. My hair went through so much when all it needed was a clean highlight. That's it. Nothing more ...nothing less. She made a mistake and never once admitted about the color error. Yes she attempted to fix with cpr and highlights. What would she have toned me with again? It's not just the tone. It's the application as well as you can see foil marks in the photos... its not blended. It's patchy and uneven. How is this my fault? My hair has now been lifted incorrectly twice, colored incorrectly, and stripped. I should at least be fully reimbursed. At the very least. They damaged my hair by doing poor coloring and lifting only to have me now need to go somewhere else where the can hopefully fix this salons error without compromising the integrity of my hair. I should have recieved an apology from the stylist once she found out she used the wrong product/color and then a full refund. Only offering a partial refund stating the time and product used. What about the cost of my time and my hair ? The owner will not fix stating its a conflict of interest with other stylists and they are only offering a partial refund even though this is due to their error and lack of communication. They also blocked me from being able to leave a review on their Facebook page as I can no longer even see their page. What salon does that? Only one who refuses to be held accountable for their embarrassing work. So potential clients please disregard those "likes" on their Facebook page. They are not a true reflection of their client satisfaction if you cannot leave an honest review after a bad service and their refusal to make it 100% right. I can't even unlike their page. Imagine how many others have had a similar experience. I did try to work this out with the stylist and management/owner Bethany Mae Norris prior to a negative review. The next step may be to do a consumer complaint with the state. Do your hair a favor and DO NOT GO HERE. PLEASE
